Or Todd Christensen, Russ Francis, Mark Bavaro, Mark Chmura, Pete Metzelaars, Tony Gonzales, Todd Heap...
I'd much rather have friggin' Lonnie Johnson than any of those guys.
Or even a Jay Novacek for that matter, the Cowboys never did ANYTHING with him.

If they're not looking into trading Taylor, then signing Holliday and Carter is a real head scratcher. Taylor for Edge...I hope Indy gets more back than that.

Great story. I didn't know that Lafontaine competed in and finished the Ironman triatholon. That's pretty impressive. My cousin Katie has met a lot of the good guys like Pat Lafontaine and Rob Ray since she was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2001, and what those guys do for the children in WNY goes beyond anything that I could possibly type out on here.
In Buffalo, he's also remembered for being part of the phenomenal combination with Alexander Mogilny in 1992-93. LaFontaine had 53 goals and 95 assists that season for 148 points, while Mogilny had 76 goals and 51 assists for 127 points.Man, that was an awesome season! Hockey used to be great.

I could probably count on my hands how many times I've seen guys carried off the field in a stretcher in between all the NFL, NHL, MLB, college and high school sports I've watched...it's funny how often it happens in soccer though, especially when the guy makes the miraculous recovery to come back into the game.

My record is 1199.65m.
I'm heading into work, so I'll check back in later on tonight or tomorrow some time.

Mine too! Yes with the lack of talent and injuries on the Panthers last year, it was a miracle Fox almost had that team in the playoffs.
Every team in the NFC was almost in the playoffs.

J. Trottier is in KC today and is expected to sign with them. Also KC is making a big push for Samari Rolle.
If KC can get some players on the defensive side of the ball they'll be a tough team to beat.

He lost it because McGahee came in and played like a beast. McGahee doesn't have fumbilitis, doesn't get tackled by the invisible lines the networks show on tv, and can actually pick up the blitz. Not to mention, he stiff armed Ray Lewis and not only lived to tell about it, but ran for quite a gain after the fact.

I got Sirius back at Christmas and have not listened to local radio since. NFL Network, college bball, no commercials on the radio stations.

The only thing that could've made the video better would've been a scene with a geeky guy talking smack to a some big bad dude and getting smacked around in real life, and then the opposite for the internet.

I think newspaper coverage of local sports has gone down hill in a lot of areas, not just Buffalo. We had a first place ECHL team in Greensboro, and if they did have an article about them, it was always negative.

That is an awesome clip. For some reason whenever I see it, it makes me think back to that cheap shot Dale Hunter took on Pierre Turgeon when he was with the Islanders that put him out for the remainder of the playoffs.

If UB can get into the dance, it would be a great thing for recruiting.
-
We could bring in Lomas Brown to shore up the o-line too.

There's two guys on the Bills roster that I would consider untradeable...Takeo Spikes and Willis McGahee.
@ that trade offer. You'd they could've at least threw in the guy who dresses up like Darth Vader or something to sweeten the deal.
-
Considering no trades become official until March 2nd, I say no.

Listening to John Clayton on NFL Radio this morning, he made it sound like Mike Williams is going to get drafted higher this year then he would've last year. He said last year he wouldn't have been a top 10 pick, this year b/c of the drop off after Braylon Edwards and Mike Williams, he'll go high.

I'm always surprised (impressed? embarassed?) by the number of Zubaz pants that I see when I attend Bills games.
I still have a pair stashed away in the closet. I can never bring myself to throw out my old Bills stuff...I have a tshirt from the super bowl in Pasadena with Thurman, Beebe, Andre and Talley on it. Talley has what looks like a hybrid of a mullet and a jerry curl.
-
I dunno, if they can get Surtain and Trotter and maybe another FA or 2 they'll be looking a lot better on D then they do now. Maybe they could go after Ty Law too.
-
I still have an Andre Reed and Cornelius Bennett Starting Lineup....Andre's arm had to be super glued back on after the SB against Washington though.
-
According to NFL Radio on Sirius, it was cap considerations & the injury from last season.
-
I don't think he's gotten to the RTP area yet, all the attacks have been in Winston Salem and Greensboro. That being said, you can never be too careful. Just go to the local gun store. Whoever the guy is that is doing it, according to the News & Record has been getting more and more violent with each attack. I hope they catch that p.o.s. soon.

I heard about that Payton buyout on ESPN radio last night when I was on my way home from work. That'd be a weird trade....the guy gets traded, bought out and then resigns with the team that traded him.
all time worst season by a bills qb ever
