Great play call, great execution. Screen play to the left. We killed the blitz on that one. Edit: Fred Jackson. Looks like he hurt the guy who tried to tackle him. -

OFFICIAL BILLS VS REDSKINS GAME THREAD

Yes, basically right now, our starting D from the last game of the year minus Crow, Whitner, McGee, Greer, is in there right now. Wendling had a great chance to make a tackle in the backfield and missed it. -

Not reading routes, WR in the wrong place, etc. Those are kinks that can be ironed out. Holding the ball too long while looking right at the guy who sacks you? Well, it hasn't been fixed for the last three years.... -

so much for the pre-season qb debate. Jp held the ball for 2 long = sacked. -

I dunno, that pass to Roscoe looked good. I don't like the run, run, pass thing though. -
Why no one should be worried about the Jets...

But...but...but...(haven't seen that in a while, thought I'd bring it out)... The Jest have Cotchery and Coles, two guys that couldn't get open against our depleted secondary last year, but they are good, and that's why they'll beat everybody this year! On a less retarded note, this is a great analogy. Ever since the Raiders of the late 90's/early 00's put together their "team of old guys" and had success, teams have been trying to emulate it. Also, football teams have been trying to copy the Yankees and Red Sox. What they(especially Dan Snyder's Redskins) fail to understand is: 1 out of 10 times you get the Raiders, the other 9 you end up with the Redskins, like you said, 8-8 at best. The other thing is, this is not baseball, and these players are only going to be out there for 16 games, not 162. Team chemistry is even more important in football than in baseball, and you cannot build it by trying to "buy" your team. It takes a few years for people to get to know each other's play and you simply can't insert pieces all over the field and expect instant results. -
"http://z4.invisionfree.com/Popular_Technology/index.php?showtopic=2050" Holy crap. Did anyone bother to click on this link? This guy makes Pyrite look sorry. I can't even imagine posts like that. Apparently he takes his "Al Gore's New Clothes" stance seriously enough to write that much. I don't know who is the bigger jackass, Gore, or, "Andrew". Ha! How funny is it that South Park is more relevant than Al Gore? If anybody is "out of touch" it's the Nobel Prize committee. Lord knows how dry their balls are. Imaginaaaaaation land. Yeah, and what got Germany out of the Depression first? War. Damn Germans. Ahead of us again. Oh, and I thought raising Hitler or Germany = automatic loss, according to you. Blasphemy! Don't you know that Democrats have been the best friend the black people could ever hope for since forever? Don't you know that they base their ethos(when it's convenient) on Thomas Jefferson(who of course never owned a slave because he was a 'Democrat'...let's see how many idiots this one catches)? Nothing like trawling for Elliots or Jusnzane's. How much you wanna bet we catch a whole lot of dumbass on this one? Also, can't wait for John Adams to show up and tell us that Democrats always were in agreement with him. That's when the retard rodeo will really get into full effect. The only thing is: Whigs? Whigs weren't so much pro-slavery as they were pro-Hamilton. But that's another thread. Yes, being a pain in everyone's ass is difficult. The good news is that when you lay your head down on the pillow, you get to laugh at the flagellation of the sycophants on both sides, and you get to sleep clean. Little comfort to be sure, but it always gets me a little smile at the end of the day.

Last Night's Colbert Report with Nas
OCinBuffalo replied to justnzane's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Are you trying to argue that CNN isn't hypocritical? How about Dan Rather's CBS news? (see, I can do it too) I will leave MSNBC for justnzane's new "cripple fight". My original point centers on MSNBC/CNN trying to "outfox" FOX, and the #s prove they are failing miserably for the last 5 years. Once again, FOX is winning, and the competition isn't going to beat them on their "salacious" battlefield. Is that concept a hard one? I'd love to have a real, non-ideology, D-bag, marketing person come in here and tell us why. (then again, is there such a thing?) In all honesty, my entire involvement in this thread boils down to: 1. Correcting stupidity-->elliot 2. Challenging ignorance-->justnzane Most importantly: Hey a-holes, you don't get to call people that don't agree with you RACISTS! You don't own the license to that word just because you are a liberal! All of you lame-ass bitches will be held accountable for using race to divide us, sooner or later. Just like "the surge" is getting you "later" rather than "sooner" now. Deal with reality. Obama has to pay for your specious crap! Enjoy. By all means, keep running your mouths and win the election for McCain. Now that would be wonderfully entertaining. Especially the part where you start blaming everybody else.... -
This is nuckin futs! Where's the outrage?

You know, I never considered that, but you are right. That is probably even worse. Actually, if we switched off every other day, they'd probably be incontinent by the 3rd day, and then we'd have to engage "super-duper Medicaid" to deal with it. Switching off every other day would be the ultimate haze, because we are using our ultimate strength = hitting them from both sides of our freedom every other day. And that, my friend, is the ultimate "Captain America". How fun would it be if it was your day today, and my day tomorrow, and the whole job was trying to out do each other? Robin Williams: "what de hell was that?" Great Idea. And that's when we really break them, make them sign forms in a "hospital waiting room" for 3 hours every day while they sit in there listening to "Butterfly Kisses", but we make sure the unit manager is from Macon, GA. So there's no way anybody in the world has any idea what she is saying, not even the guards, but the only way out is understanding her. In fact, we tell the guys at Gitmo that the only way out is following the instructions of our 19-year-old Macon, GA cheerleader. You wanna see people get pissed and frustrated, that is the way to go. I can hear it now: barefoot hick girl says "we wana fit for our rats! yal caint smake a durn thin, ur daint know a thin, and my daddy says "huh?", and thiz all it is to it." We give them the choice: tell us what we want to know, or, you get to order your food from macon-girl every day, and, you get a daily 5 hour dose of Obama telling you he is more important than Mohammed as well. Or, somebody else uses their American ingenuity and makes this an even bigger haze. -

Thank you for making my point. They are salacious, and in order to constantly be looking down on the "idiots who decided it was a good idea to mess with the police", or some other Sheppard Smith mantra, they simply cannot be racist or have even the slightest form of impropriety. It blows their whole "high and mighty" schtick. I agree that the car chases are worthless, but that's not what I am saying. I am saying that justnzane has no basis for calling them racist, has yet to provide any, and is still ducking the fact that he is clearly making judgments about something he has no idea about. -
I do she is f'ing hot. But, I bet I would get annoyed after a while = can't have two opinionated a-holes in a relationship...well maybe.

Nah, I'd capture them and make them watch the news all day, and then listen to blzrul or KellyDog talk to them about Obama all night. You'd probably have to put them on suicide watch by the third day of that. Hey, we could use the same thing for terrorists, and not have to worry about any potential treaty violations. j/k blzurl/kelly -
Hey Billsoverdue, perhaps you need to look at the whole thread and see what I was responding to before you make judgments. I was told: 1. I don't know football 2. I am a homer 3. I don't know who Cothchery and Coles are. Taken in that context, I hardly think my response was untoward. The fact is I have seen Lee play live, this year, and he looks twice as good as he ever has. Cotchery and Coles will have to improve their game 10 fold to be = to him....this year. I am merely responding to a guy talking out his ass using fantasy stats, or whatever, to make his point. And too bad if you don't like me sticking up for myself. You better get used to it buddy. But, I'm guessing this was simply an oversight on your part.

Apparently you are talking about the Montana that was on the Chiefs? Because that other guy on the 49ers had to play against LT, and the Bears, got hit....A LOT, and kept on coming. Oh, and if you think what the Giants did to Brady was impressive, apparently you didn't watch much football in the 80's. Again, I refer you to the Bears, Giants, Redskins, Cowboys, Eagles defenses of that decade. They broke everybody's system, every Sunday, all the time. The HOFers on those teams are endless, most of them are still the top 1-3 at their position all time. Montana had to face them all, and he still consistently beat them. What happened to Brady happened to Montana every Sunday, but unlike Brady he found a way to win, because while he could play the system, he could also flat out play. Agreed. I think you'd have to have a real running QB threat to beat that, and it appears they don't. Yeah, but this is like the west coast offense on steroids. Bump and run is fine, but I'm still throwing the ball over your blitzer's head right after the bump. All I need is 2 seconds in that case. And, like I said, the minute I read the Blitz is on, I send my other QB in motion towards the sideline. Snap throw it to him and the ball is now at least 15 yards away from most of your team. At the very least I get 8 yards on that.

Again, you take one fact, ignore all others and or mitigation, like the fact that our O co-ordintator personally lost us multiple games last year, and try to make a point. Take off the bubble boy glasses and realize that there's no way in hell Cotchery, Clemens, and Brett Favre are worth Lee Evans at this point, and likely won't ever be going forward. Deal with reality. I just went to camp I saw him with my own two eyes, and he is going to have an All-Pro year. I know football. If you do, and you saw what I did, you'd be saying the same thing. This isn't homerism, this is simply pointing out that I have never seen Lee Evans look this good, every play and I've seen two separate days. The last time I saw a WR look this good live, it was TO. The time before that, it was Andre Reed. Lee Evans is on track to dominate games this year, and it's not just because of help on the other side. He was beating double coverage over and over out there and honestly nobody on the Bills is covering him right now, and this is a Tampa 2 friggin defense.

Last play of his "career"? Pick. A pick that killed their game and gave the Giants the win. I will take that kind of "game" from him all day, every day. Career INT record, here Favre comes! Would you agree that Favre has now clearly demonstrated that he is a whiner, an attention-starved whiner at that, and has no problem crying to the media? Do you think that is a good plan in NYC? Anywhere in NY for that matter? You think the press in NYC or anywhere in NY are going to let up on him when things start(inevitably from where I sit) going bad?
