Is Trump Mentally Ill?
OCinBuffalo replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
As I've said, it's the volume of haymakers that undoes them, and they are too stupid to know that even if one of them lands, it will be instantly obscured by the ones that miss. At some point they will try to coordinate their attacks: They throw one haymaker that has a high propensity of hitting, from one media outlet, and everybody else goes dark. But, somebody with some decency will talk/Project Veritas/Wikileaks, and then they will be exposed for that coordination. Perhaps they can see that, so, it's back to throwing daily haymakers and hoping that works. The trouble is: they are destroying their ability to get clicks/they will be completely tuned out. And none of this can stop Trump's primary weapon: yet another Tweet at 3am which forces everything off the front page, or at least down the page. -
Everything right except the last part. Don't be fooled. It's for the media, the Democrats, and especially the far-left to be fooled, and to be foolish as a result. This was planned down to the minute. It was executed perfectly. So a few people get stuck in the airport for 5 hours. Small price to pay for exposing what you said in your first sentence, as well as getting more idiots to cause more chaos, and most importantly: empowering the far-left and "moving it to the front", a political tactic. They want the far-left to look like they are being effective. They want the far left to be in the spotlight. This will cause them to be in charge and will be exposed as such to the entire country. (Side benefit: this airport stuff played great to Trump's ever-growing base.) Trump will then feast on drawing black and white comparisons between himself and his policy vs the idiocy and bad behavior that comes from the far-left. And, since they are in charge, Trump can extrapolate that to the entire D party. There are very few reasonable Ds left. The only D with real power is Schumer, and I doubt he has the personal fortitude and principle to stand up to the far-left. That is the calculation here. The endgame is that the far-let will act stupidly, as it always does, and thus will be abandoned by all except the 25% of the public(who are the far-left). Some have already left them. Others will soon have no choice. Thus, Trump unites the country as much as it can be, by giving everybody a clear choice: either follow the guy that gets things done, or, follow the people that say and do stupid. The media will catalyze this all too well, before they realize they have. The Congressional Rs will go along to get along, and besides: Trump will succeed where they have failed since 1999. The words "It's a Trap!" haven't had this much veracity since the Empire Strikes Back.

Yeah. Been hitting the bong tonight? Feeling all artsy and cool? Buzzkill: There's good poetry, and then there's incoherence wrapped in a candy shell. I know the difference. Every time it's Haiku time on the football board, it's said I write the real thing. Bang. Snaps. Slam poet don't mean slam poetry with inferior skills. Skills are what give, but they are also what takes. See, I can do it too, but better. -
I have read this article regarding this meeting, because it wasn't a debate, about who should be the DNC chair, multiple times and sent it everywhere but here so far. This is one of the funniest things I've read in quite a while. For the lazy: I know I shouldn't say this, I know it's terrible, but: This is like interpretive dance performed by a cripple. Quoting the the author of the piece "At the end of this monologue, which took Raul about four minutes to deliver while green lines squiggled up and down behind him on a screen, I had no idea whether earthquakes were good or bad or whether we were supposed to be climbing mountains or destroying them or rebuilding them or all three at once. (I swear I had the same thought first time) I had forgotten that I was supposed to be figuring out which of the seven other people slated to talk was best suited to lead the DNC. I didn’t even remember what day it was or whether I was on planet Earth." EDIT: Also, "Perez got excited and made some interesting gestures." And: "Why can’t they just pick Bernie?" Please, please, please pick Bernie. That will seal the current, awful, D party's fate. Then we can go back to having a D party that actually does care about people, and rejects "socialism is the goal" once and for all. Because? People, not ideology, is what the Ds are supposed to be about. EDIT2: Perhaps I will create my own reply bot? [This is an automated response: Sound is vibration. I'm not so sure you understand what just happened or why. Let me do a comparative analysis: The Democratic Party my grandfather helped build, starting as a plumber, union man, then as an elected D for 30 years? It is gone. If he was alive today, he'd be cracking heads, literally, just like he did in the old days, when he and the boys kicked the Communists out. He'd have kicked the environtologists out a long time ago. He'd never have allowed college professors to supplant the unions as the place where party policy/presidential platforms emanated. PC, and the policy it generates, would have been driven out of the party long ago. He served at the tail end of the Clinton years, and was part of welfare reform, because he knew that 30 years of LBJ's plantation handouts to black people, in return for votes, had proved to do more harm than good, and continuing it was immoral. His party is gone. What has replaced it? 1. Instead of people who will vote in every election, and volunteer to hand out cards, and stand by fire barrels at 6 am freezing their butts off but ready to go talk to voters before work starts, and after? This D party has black lives matter/Soros activists. They don't lift a finger unless you pay them. They certainly won't vote unless you pay them, somehow. They won't show up for mid-terms, and they don't even know why that's bad. Instead of my grandfather's fellowship trying to make America better for all, asking what they can do for their country? This party is merely a collective, whose cohesion depends solely on selfish interests, and asking when they are going to be paid. And, it ain't just the street people asking, it's the college professors and the professional politicos too. See: Obamacare designers becoming Obamacare "consultants" for $500/hr. See: the EPA/college professor/Federal budget allocator revolving doors. 2. Instead of a group of people who were inherently moral, and therefore, always begin on the moral high ground just by living their lives? This party has Hollywood, which makes hypocritical and downright ludicrous claims to a moral high ground that they can only imagine, because most have never been within 50 miles. All those that have been there can do is stand on a high stage and show us their vacation pictures of it(because: Africa), and pretend like they are a local, when we all know better. Instead of an exemplary lives being lived on moral ground forming the base of the party, we have false virtue being signaled from one high stage to another from far, far away. 3. Instead of a group of people who understood that they had a vital role to play in the economy and took it seriously("Early to bed, Early to rise, Work like hell and Unionize")? This party has various orders of victims, all who now demand that everyone else should work for them, if not, should be forced out of their way so that they alone can benefit from government largess. See: government contracts in cities being disproportionately awarded to "victims". Then, see: "victim" F up the contract, and then see: city continues to decline, and everybody asking "where did that Stimulus money go? Where are the shovel-ready jobs?". See: the 5 richest counties in the country now surround DC. 4. Instead of a group of people who saw it as their moral duty to help the poor up, and if not, at least give them social security? This party sees the poor as merely votes, and couldn't care less if any of their programs actually help them. They are too busy making sure that everybody down the food chain gets their payoff, because that's how the party's power base is constructed. If the poor actually get a benefit here or there, or a school does better automagically, that's a bonus. They will lie(see inner city schools), cheat(see inner city schools), and steal(see inner city schools) to preserve their personal gravy train above all...and justify all that by talking about CEO salaries. Apples and Crocodiles. Important side note: the Democrats have been hurt worse than you may think, because of the down ballot losses. There's less people to pay off down the chain, so, there's less political power coming up. I mean, it's not like most Democrats can achieve without government handouts/influence. So, they can't build political support personally, like Trump did. No. They rely on the top-down chain. This means the D party is very top-heavy right now. It's 50/50 on whether it crashes. These are just some of the differences between what was once the majority party of the USA, and where it is today. So, no, I don't see what you are saying happening at all. IF somebody comes along and gets elected, it's not going to be one of today's Democrats, that represents today's party. No way. Much like Trump it will be a "new, new, new Democrat"...but really? They will simply be a re-branded JFK Democrat. Due to Obama, like Carter/Mondale/Dukakis before him, we aren't going to see another far-left clown win anything for at least another 30 years.

This, right here, is why Trump won, will continue to win, and why the 2018 election will be yet another bloodbath for the d party. If they still don't learn, 2020 will be a cakewalk for Trump. Jesus, how many gifts are you willing to give? F the 3 Wise Men, they don't come close when it comes to gift giving. Well, that, and, they were actually wise. Never mind the shameless attempt at trying to put an == between combat operations and Benghazi, nobody believes that comparison, and nobody will the next time. It's a waste of bits. No, it's the using an American soldier's death as a political prop that will always cause a backblast, never mind lash. This is perhaps the best way to get shunned by just about every American, except for the 24-7% of the country is that is the far-left. In posting this, you identify yourself not only as part of that group, but, you unintentionally force everybody else, because you leave them no choice, away from your group. Then you build a wall around your group, because it's so easy for normal people to see which side you are on, and which one they are on. Trump isn't required to do much, other than to not interrupt you as you making this idiotic mistake. Then, after, he gets to point it out. It really is fascinating. For years you've told us you're the smart people. You're the experts/educated. This post proves the opposite. Not only does it fail to operate as designed, it pisses decent people off. IF there was a way to score an anti-touchdown, one that not only doesn't gain you anything, but takes points off the scoreboard? This is it. Now, go ahead: spike the football, and do your dance. Show us your multiculturalism. And of course, please continue to ignore everything I just said: it's going great for the country.

I her you, but, keep in mind it could go the other way: Trump fires all the Czars.

I spent the summer considering the possibility that "It's not that Trump is this good, it's that the media is this bad". But, I rejected it. While it's true that this wouldn't work against smarter/less self-involved/less partisan people, it's also true that the sheer volume of gifts given to Trump by the Democrats/media would be impossible without Team Trump's constant, direct, manipulation. There was a WSJ journal piece a few weeks ago that talked about how lucky Trump has been, given the number of media/democrat/Hillary F ups, that have turned into gifts for him. But even that guy questioned his own premise, with a reference to "The harder I work, the luckier I get" or something along those lines.
-
Hmm. More like dude who knows boy will cry wolf, incites boy to cry wolf. Meanwhile, boy has deluded himself into thinking he's the smart guy in the story, and therefore, cries more wolf. Meanwhile, dude laughs as he makes boy dance, because while wolf is being cried over there, dude is achieving his actual objective over here. Boy is so addicted to clicks and his self-importance, that he can't see he's being fed treats, specifically designed to get him to cry wolf where and when dude requires. Dude finds his new pet quite amusing, but quite disgusting. So, dude tweets at 2am if for no other reason than to deprive boy of sleep, and punish him.

I find all of this fascinating. I still can't believe so few have caught on to what Trump is doing, and has been doing, for 20? months now. None of these protests are relevant. None of the media hitpieces have worked. None of the wailing social media has worked. None of the comment section stuff has worked. Yet, they still keep at it. And, what's better? They think that if only they do more of it, it will start to work. Unmitigated morons. Media Matters keeps bilking donors, and George Soros keeps spending big $$$...to get more! "More of it" is precisely why none of it is working. Every damn day, or close, there is a new "get Trump" story...that is supposed to be "the one that brings him down". The Watergate Killshot. But, based on their actions, it's clear none of the fools understand the history of Watergate. How the events actually transpired, and more importantly, over what time frame. What they don't understand, amazingly, is that 1) they think they are going to get Trump in one day, and, because of 1) the next day's story crowds out yesterday's, and 3) it actually took real journalism to get Watergate to happen, and 4) it took 2 years, not 2 days. Nobody even has a chance to actually analyze today's "get Trump" story, because another one is hot off the presses. Part of the is is the Clickbait thing. But, part of it is a serious, massive, strategic miscalculation. Consider: Right now: protests at the airport. Today is 29 Jan 2017. What is actual expiration date of this story? You would expect it to be a 2 week thing, right? Wrong. Why? Because: if it even looks like it will last beyond Tuesday? Trump will do/say something else [(INTENTIONALLY)] that will fire up the OUTRAGE! machine/move the protesters there. 2 weeks later, nobody will even remember today's story. How do I know? Because 2 weeks ago, the Killshot was the fake Trump Dossier, The Growing Rift Between Trump and The CIA, and Trump's "conflict of interest" problem. Did any of you even remember these stories without me reminding you? Do you care? Conclusion: The media/Democrat alliance is stuck in their own failing strategy. They keep thinking its about winning news cycles. They are fighting the wrong war, against the wrong enemy, in the wrong place, at the wrong time, literally. (And I love using that line on them, since they've taken it out of context for 50 years/hammered it into a cliché). But, this time? It's not a cliché. This is exactly what they are doing wrong. It's fascinating that they are completely blind to it.

I hate "Races issues". I had a neighbor who would never shut up about it, and thought his persistence would eventually get me interested. Wait, are we talking about Nascar, or...MLK? It doesn't matter, because I had another annoying neighbor with the same problem regarding the other one.

Global warming err Climate change HOAX
OCinBuffalo replied to Very wide right's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Whaddya mean? Aren't these the same people who decided to do 95% of the Obamacare website using client-side javascript? So, why wouldn't they house all their data in JSON files, or better yet, in URLs? Perhaps literally everything is stored in PDFs(or Excel files, that would be the best), and they are in the htdocs folder of the Apache webserver they downloaded 10 years ago. Delete that folder and the whole thing is gone! The mere fact that these people are saying any of this to Reuters, doing any of this, hell, thinking of any of this...is grounds for immediate termination. Even the biggest Global Warming nut there is...should support terminating these people. It's bad enough for me to have to admit that these people work for my country. It's humiliating for the Global Warming people to have to admit they represent them. And since we're on the topic of who is dumb: Apparently the NYT thinks its own readers are too dumb to understand their Global Warming story. TL;DR == This one quote suffices(regarding margin of error): "But as Richard Lindzen puts it, “If you can adjust temperatures two tenths of a degree, it means it wasn’t certain to two tenths of a degree.” Another example of DC_Tom's "false precision" fallacy. -
Buzzfeed Hits into a Triple Play

Pontification? No. Analysis. Something I'm told I'm pretty good at. Look: it's easy for us to determine if my analysis is correct. Count the number of Russian Hacking/Fake News Helped Trump/Conflict of Interest stories/segments that come up after today. I am betting the only ones that do are weak, toothless attempts at trying to resuscitate the delegitimize plan. That's if any come out at all. So let's do a simple before and after: Before the news conference, given Buzzfeed/CNN's idiocy, we had three lines of attack that perhaps had some traction? What do we have after? Hmm...I'm debating between this: and something like this: -

Yeah, that's all you got. Everything above is 100% true, and I can prove it. Moreover, you can google most of it. Look up Kaiser Shipyards and Dr. Permanente. It's all there. The problem is you can't answer for any of it, because there is no excuse for any of it. Like I said the D party doesn't just own Obaamcare, they own BIG health insurance, and BIG government reaction to it. Absolutely none of this is necessary. There's a doctor in NYS right now, and I can't say his name because it will get him in trouble with Cuomo, who is literally running his practice like I said above. Actually the word is that there are upwards of 40 docs doing this. It's like a secret society. They refer patients to each other. Who knows, your idiocy may end up spawning a new form of Masonry, just like the original was formed to combat the old, idiot, despotic kings. We'll see. Since the current despotic would-be king only has a few days left, maybe it doesn't happen? One thing Democrats never seem to learn? Markets always find a way.

People can afford health care. That is the biggest lie of them all. What people can't afford is insurance. And, many also can't afford a monthly premium, when they get no utility from it. Or, they can't afford a premium every month of the year(seasonal employees). A premium is dead cash going out. You pay it, and never see any benefit if you don't use the service. Let's understand something: health insurance ONLY exists because it was a necessary evil when we were fighting WW2, and we needed ship builders to be as healthy as possible, and not distracted by health concerns. After WW2 it became a way of paying employees more $, without having to pay more payroll tax. (ALL benefits are done for the same reason.) There is a decades long direct relationship between liberal idiots tirelessly increasing payroll/corporate taxes, and, companies converting payroll cash into benefits instead, and treating them as a way to increase expenses, thereby lowering profits, thereby lowering corporate tax liability. Tiny little insurance companies suddenly became massive entities as a result, with all the power of lobbyists etc. Bottom Line: Your own idiot ideology created the massive insurance companies you hate, and gave them all the power you say they shouldn't have, which comes from all the $ that has been diverted to them to avoid your punitive tax code. In response, your idiot ideology created massive government bureaucracies to try and manage/regulate the massive insurance companies you created. But, a simple GP doctor can charge a patient $40 dollars for a check-up every six months, and, if necessary, a one-time $50 for a number of minor treatments, like it was before WW2($40 today is adjusted from the $5 back then), and 99% of our population can afford that. So, get a clue. The D party has "owned" the health INSURANCE mess since FDR began it in 1942. None of that has anything to do with health care, which is affordable, and which is accessible, IF the government would get out of the way. Currently a private practice doctor spend more $ complying with Obamacare...than he does on medical supplies. You and your idiot pals need to answer for that state of affairs, BEFORE you get to say anything else to anybody about health care.

Buzzfeed Hits into a Triple Play
OCinBuffalo replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Are you serious? Talking about sowing. Today. As I said above: your 3 lines of attack, that you've been running for 6 damn weeks, are now utterly destroyed. And...you want to talk to me about reaping/sowing? Cognitive Dissonance. EDIT: Perhaps you are having trouble with me being the messenger? OK: how about Chuck Todd? Buzzfeed did Trump a political favor. He doesn't yet see the entire scope of this. He thinks Buzzfeed merely hit into a fielder's choice. He is wrong, right now, but, he'll get it eventually. He is wrong because we ain't gonna see another Russian Hacking, Fake News, or Conflict of Interest story...that isn't painfully contrived and twisted to avoid CNN's fate, rendering it meaningless. EDIT2: Here's another leftist who gets part of it as well: Why the media's Trump dossier coverage is suicidal The irony of this guy insulting Trump in the most petty ways, while talking about other people's need for "catharsis" is hilarious. Nobody gets the whole thing yet. But, it's like gravity: what I am saying is true, and it always was, it's just a matter of time until you and the rest of the left "discover" it. -
At this point, I have a fairly decent handle on what the Rs plan to do with health care. This comes from my own work on the topic, as well as what I've been hearing from others. It's not definitive. But the notion that "Republicans have no plan"? That is definitively false. In general it is what I've been saying, in general, since 2008: HSA to cover day to day, huge pools of catastrophic sold over state lines. Pharma business done with the lowest bidder. Any of you investor types might want to consider online pharma wholesalers as a nice play to lay some cash. In fact, I wouldn't put it past Amazon to get into that business or Wal Mart, anybody who already has a huge online/shipping presence could make big bucks as a re-seller on economies of scale alone. If somebody were to apply for and get the necessary FDA docs, or already has them, Amazon would buy that startup just to avoid that process. The current pharmacies(companies who hospitals/nursing communities outsource their pharmacies, this includes pharmacists) will be in even more serious competition than they already are. Amazon may buy them. One thing is certain: the will be major disruptive change in the pharmacy business. Much depends on how the Health Care Savings Accounts(HSAs) will work. Understand HSAs aren't a silver bullet. IF they aren't structured properly, THEN, they can fail just as bad as Obamacare. Also, the entire "consumer choices in a market of options" is touch and go. Due to the consolidation of health care systems that was the provider's pain response to Obamacare...there may not be as much choice as is thought. If the hospital system a doctor works for sets a uniform price/hr or service for her and the other 6 doctors she works with that do the same thing, and, there's only 1 system in the area? So much for market competition. However, depending again on how the HSAs/reimbursement works...the new plan may cause doctors to leave the systems they now work for because they can make more on their own. Or, there may be some sort of hybridization, where the doctors half-leave the system, do their own practice, but pay a monthly fee to the system for admin. What is known as a service bureau approach. A lot of small banks in the Midwest do this. Where the nurses end up in this is anyone's guess. Does the doctor rent them too? This is a big deal, because nursing activity represents a lot more of your fee for service, from start to finish, than doctoring does. This is especially true for chronic illness treatment. So, nothing is cut and dried here. However, if this is done right? Trump may have a serious win on his hands, one that will guarantee a 2nd term. EDIT: there's another investment opportunity here as well. But? That is for me to know, and hopefully few others to figure out.

Buzzfeed Hits into a Triple Play
OCinBuffalo replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No, it wasn't just that. In addition to that, 3 separate CNN presenters editorialized that there was scandalous material in the summary. That's not the same thing as merely presenting the fact that there was a summary. They never should have reported anything, because the source of the information was garbage, and quite possibly they have been victims of the best troll of all time. They are getting exactly what they deserve. And as far as Clapper goes: explain why he called Donald Trump last night and told him that he was "dismayed" that this summary was reported on, and that it never should have seen the light of day, because it is garbage. Clapper is running for the hills because he knows he's in big trouble as DNI because, he is personally responsible for this mess, and, that there were only 5 people in the room with Trump and he was one of them, when this summary was delivered. He's in trouble as a manager and as an employee. Ask yourself PastaJoe: what exactly will you say if it is proven that Anon is the source of this story? The supposed ex MI-6 guy name is Christopher Steele. Did you know that that's also the name of a porn star, who happens to like urination, etc.? What a coincidence! Yeah, doesn't sound like a 4chan thing at all.
