  1. Boy...you ain't lying, she is getting thrown around the room. It's embarrassing that Gillibrand represents NYS, in anything: "The question wasn't about what we might do, it was what have you done, and that answer is nothing"! But, we'll end up with this airhead, won't we? She is the perfect equivalent of the lady(I find this more with women than men) in the meeting who merely talks for the sake of talking: repeats other people's points, restates the question being asked...and then proceeds to answer it with "we have to do something about this, because it's important", and will change her position on everything, depending on what everybody is saying, and act like she has been a staunch supporter of that position from the beginning. The only upside? Maybe she'll go along with smart Republican ideas...as long as things in "the meeting" appear to be going their way?
  2. "When you got nothin', you got...nothin' to lose."
  3. Hey in the sense that he did exactly what I said he would today...and modulated his stump speech, by saying "we are fighting Al Queda", rather than what he has said since his convention: "we have Al Queda on the run"? Yes, he is predictable. And, cynical. For him to call anybody a liar at this point? Hysterical. Although, you may be right, he may try to take credit....because he already tried to take credit for beating Al Queda, the "Benghazi proves you wrong" ship has already sailed, and therefore, he has little to lose by hoping enough people didn't pay attention to his convention. But, the modification of the speech today, probably means that no, he won't try to take credit, for fear of keeping this entire cycle of idiocy going. Obama needs to change the subject from Libya, MORE, than Chan needs to change the subject from Fitz.
  4. Hmm...why does a guy who "just likes riling people up" agree to giving an interview that outs him? If it's all no big deal, then doing an interview is not compatible with something you don't care about. Did the reporter out-troll...the troll? I mean, isn't trolling people for a response...job #2 for a journalist?
  5. Well then, here's something that can only be called "multiple-sourced" http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/10/16/luntz_focus_group_of_mostly_former_obama_voters_switch_to_romney.html That's a lot of ex-Obama votes going for Romney, in Nevada. Now, we can talk about the lack of minorities in the group...but then, it goes right back to the same point: white voters, like it or not, will, IN FACT(for the lawyers here), make up 74-5% of the electorate. The loss in white voters is what matters here. That loss is statistically more significant than any gain in minority votes...which doesn't appear to be happening anyway. I don't agree that Obama BSed us. I think he was sincere in his beliefs, I just think it didn't work. But, when I see visceral reactions like this, and, then I see 80% of the group laughing/supporting...and I combine that with the 74% thing? I think this decision is already made. These people didn't see what we saw = Tie/Obama win on points. That's because they already have their minds made up, and they are done processing new information. How else can you explain this group supporting Romney by at least 7/10? That means, that Romney's gains are largely locked in already. IF that's the case...Romney has already won, because, historically the rest of the undecideds will move his way, and there's nobody left for Obama to get...besides the 39-47% that were going to vote for him anyway. How funny will it be...if Obama ends up losing 47% to 51%?
  6. Oh, my mistake ....is Russia openly selling arms in Syria? Are they vetoing everything we try to do to Iran in the UN? How did we get here? You think F'ing about with drone strikes = a successful strategic foreign policy with people that matter? Once again...elephants = sea shells, because they are both grey.
  7. Actually? No, he won't be. He won't be for the same reason they tried to say "youtube did it" WRT Benghazi. Obama took the credit for defeating terrorism, and Al Queda, nearly completely, at his convention. Any new terrorist attack contradicts that assertion. He created his own trap, and now he gets to keep falling into it, every time another terrorist attack occurs/is thwarted. They took a huge risk trying to gain politically on the terror war thing....and....the terrorists are making them pay for it. In fact, the terrorists, in their stupidity, may actually end up getting Romney elected, which is the very last thing they want, because then it will go back to open season on them, and the rest of the world will be put on notice, as they should have been for the last 4 years, especially Russia. It's folly all around. Obama getting the opposite of what he intended, terrorists the same. Once again, when you want something done right, put the far-left(or nutty terrorists) in charge of doing the opposite.
  8. Look 6-7 posts above you.
  9. Doing the same thing since I met you, including process improvement, mobile enterprise...workflow, basically what I always do, just using the newest stuff...(which is what I always do..WTF ). San Antonio is ballsy. Actually, I might end up moving down your way next year. It's on the list anyway. But, I am trying to hold off making any decisions for as long as possible, due to laziness, and being so bored with the entire process. IIRC, you were Poly Sci, and now, it's IT stuff? Hehehe...no wonder your political views have changed.
  10. Strikes and gutters... You still at Texas? Or am I an idiot?
  11. Bluefire.....from way down town bang! Hmmm we are talking posters from yesteryear...and Bluefire shows up? Howdy!
  12. This board is contentious by design. Everybody is going to step on somebody's sensitive parts, sooner or later.
  13. Don't you mean B-man? If you mean me, then, of course I don't think anyone can stop a-holes from being a-holes. The only thing you can do...is make the a-hole think twice. Or, better, not even start. I don't know how bowing, Russia Reset, or the rest of it accomplished that. At the same time, I KNOW the "youtube did it" thing = a pure political play, designed to break the fall of Obama's convention assertions as they crashed and burned. So do you. The assertions crashing would have been a 1-2 day story. The video has made this into a month-long parade of stupidity, and NONE of it has stuck to Romney, no matter how hard they try.
  14. Fox dial thingies...show Obama flat on economy, Romney doing well. Democrats were ~60 on the whole thing, for both guys. Republicans big swing up for Romney, down for Obama. Hmmm...these Vegas people are pissed at Obama. (and...lots of plastic surgery....that probably seemed like a good idea...20 years ago. )
  15. No! That is your penance for being a lib: you are chained to Duck_Dipshit, and you have to deal with it!
  16. I guess.... These guys were talking about Romney as "Mr. President" and giving Obama hell.... ....I swear to God: one guy, who voted for Obama in 2008, said "Obama bullschitted us" no censor, no bleep, and 80% of the group agreed and If that isn't on youtube in the next 20 minutes.....then the Romney campaign is just awful. If that's representative of the real sentiment out there? Landslide. I mean...that's not what I think. I think he really believed that what he was doing was going to work. But, if I am in the minority on that?
  17. Weird...Fox focus group...acting like Romney did a lot better than I thought he did. Perhaps repeating those econ stats, over and over, is a lot more powerful for them. Cause...it's not like I don't hear it here every damn day.
  18. Or, how is the entire "youtube did it" thing... ...not campaigning? That entire thing was purposeful. It was no accident.
  19. Twitter stats: Economy #1 That's good for Romney...unless all of those tweets are from WH sock puppet accounts.
  20. I dunno.... You've been making this point for a solid year now. I don't think we'd see the movement in the polls that we have....if you were right about this. You may be 20% right? The question then is: how much does that translate into votes?
  21. As expected....Tie. Liberals will say Obama won, conservatives will say Romney won....I'd say they both made good points. But, on rounds....perhaps a split decision for Romney? He hit the economic stats over and over, and Obama had 0 answer.
  22. Nothing sandwich for Obama.
  23. Here we go....
