lets clear something up right now
OCinBuffalo replied to westerndecline's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
There are specialists for that. But, they are in the USA. If you were in Japan, you'd have to pay off 3 people(RN first, then GP, then government bureaucrat), or know somebody, to see the specialist. Of course, you can always take comfort in the {{fact that the Japanese government spends the lowest per-capita on health care, of any democracy in the world}}. See the {{...}} part of that sentence is a templated object...that doesn't include the Stalinist payoff properties and methods. Hell I could've written the Obamacare website, couldn't I? Now, given that, do any doubts linger in your mind as to with whom you are speaking? -
Sex Allegations Against Roy Moore Send Republicans Reeling
OCinBuffalo replied to ALF's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I'm reeling...reeling...reeling. It's like the people who predicted 4-12 for the Bills, giving me **** after they won 5 games....then saw fit to predict 5-11. Reeling. I'm reeling because Trump is doing as promised: winning, on everything. Did you see Chucky Schumer's face today? After he was so "courageous" by missing the last meeting with Trump, because he was TweetHurt, there he is today meeting with Trump, hat in hand, with a gooney-googoo **** eating grin Reeling. Yeah. Roy Moore is going to win(end of thread), just like Trump is going to win...2018, 2020. The only reeling that is going on: how many fish can the dopey MSM get to buy their product before the entire thing falls apart? They left is in full Tony Robbins mode: ignore everything they ever did, and focus on today. Except today, they are going to do brand new stupid things to lose elections. -

Heh... Well, let's start with command of the English language...and then you figure it out from there. -
I have numerous Orthodox Jewish business partners. Trump has more. The only thing that is different than above: none of the guinea melodrama. Trump and his friends don't take care of the family of the bad actor, they don't even talk to him/her. They don't kill, rather, they ensure they are all thrown into penury. The only thing that remains: will Trump do the Christian thing, or, will he handle it his son-in-law's way? EDIT: And for you suburb kids: welcome to how things actually run in the city. I'd be severely disappointed in any intelligence agent/officer/diplomat, from any USA agency/department/bureau, that wasn't having at least one affair. Gathering intel is their business. Sex/false love, is far and away the proven best vehicle. Well perhaps I should modulate: my main disappointment would be with any counter-intelligence agent. The best way to trap foreign agents/traitors is to run with their plots, not against them. Sun Tzu: be predictable to your enemy, cloud his mind with doing what he thinks you will do...until it is time to do the unpredicted(loose translation of the original text).

Yeah, you find nothing ironic at all about "I only show up once a year"? Then ask: why today? Today Why not yesterday: ST. NICHOLAS DAY – NATIONAL MICROWAVE OVEN DAY – NATIONAL MINER’S DAY – NATIONAL GAZPACHO DAY – NATIONAL PAWNBROKERS DAY I mean com on: who doesn't want to make their stand on National Gazpacho Day? Who doesn't see the irony in cold soup vs microwave ovens? -

WTF. Stand and deliver, liberal. Don't threaten him with your mod pals. Win the argument instead. Put your real beliefs on display. This is PPP, not Oprah. Evidence: I've beaten your pal Simon to a pulp, despite his fake warning points, and, despite his banning me for a month predicated on me kicking his ass all over PPP. You're right, you are a liberal: passive aggressive. You "know people here" so, you make a veiled threat "enjoy your time here" . But here's your problem: I have called your "know people here" bluff so many times, and won , be it bar fights or board rooms, that I can't help but laugh at you, because I'm batting .950 on them. So, you thought it worth your time, "once a year", to come show us the veneer: the liberals who control this board do facetime, and call an idiot an idiot? Please. Trump is POTUS, perhaps you and the rest of "mods" on this board are still living in the pre-Trump era. Get out of the delusion: the Bills fan base is the most conservative in the NFL. So, you're going to have to bake us Trump cakes, whether you like it, or not. -
Tom, by definition? Your favorite narcissist is: you. Or, are you going to hide behind your "I've gone and got the right prescriptions, so, I'm above all criticism thing, again"? You're on medication for bipolar disorder ...yet you feel it's responsible for you to diagnose others? You are living in a crabpot. You want to drag every other crab who might get out(or only belongs there by your preening), back down into it, so they stay with you. It's like South Buffalo. Or, pretty much South Everycity. But that's the thing: I've been to almost every South/East/West Everycity, and I've seen you coming, ever since Highgate Street in Buffalo...a mile away. When faced with improper use of logical fallacy...you respond with ad hominem? God, if only I was still running book: I'd make a killing on this board as to who is going to define themselves, inadvertently, better. DC_Tom doing his projection vs. westerndecline ironically talking himself out of his own arguments.

Why is it naive to believe that Netflix and Google, who brazenly tried to make a business conflict into a political morality play, are not helpless victims in all of this? For the 50th time, this is about hardware vs. software. Software almost always wins. Why? Because people use software, and it's infinitely more tangible to them. Studies: 3 months after purchase people stop giving a F about their hardware, while their attachment to their software only rises(see: mass refusal to migrate from Windows XP). Thus, hardware companies try to lock you into their hardware, by controlling the software that it runs/making things exclusive, etc. Phone manufacturers are losing this battle as we speak, as HTML 5 makes a roaring comeback. In 3 years, there's a 80% chance "the App store" is gone, never to return. In 5 years that number approaches 100%. Sure, there may be some thin client/hybrid holdovers, but they will all be written in web, not native(phone company hardware) technologies and architecture. All new enterprise apps already are. My analysis above(which usually costs $450/hr), is merely one example in a long-standing pattern: Software always finds a way around whatever hardware does. Why? Because software can move a lot faster than hardware. Once one overcomes hardware roadblocks, they usually stay overcome: because they can't rewire 1+ million deployed devices. This is the general history of IT, from Microsoft DOS being run on non-IBM PCs( the horror), to things like React Native(facebook stack that lets you write 1 set of code for both IPhone and Android, but with a crap license == don't use it, use its competition, like Vue), so, WHY do software companies need special government protection, when they historically have a 80-90% chance of beating whatever the hardware people do?

The music is about to stop. You can feel it. It's almost palpable, but not quite there yet. A great many mistakes will be made by those looking for a chair before it does, because this is only the beginning of the swamp's panic. I agree : an inordinate # of "more time with my family" pols have "retired", on both sides, portending something serious is going on. And, I will direct you all to this, again. ....Trump's revenge philosophy existed looooong before Anonymous co-opted it. He never forgives, he never forgets, and EVERYBODY that has tried to shroud their craven political agenda in "due process of law"? They can expect him. Trump has gotten everybody who ever wronged him, when he was just a business guy. Trump is now the POTUS, so the chances that he collects on all debts is at 1, never mind approaching it. Nate Silver should do an analysis on that. He might actually end up being right for a change.

Damn, I almost got one... EDIT: And, hey westernpissant: posting is an act. It is also a choice. Criticizing someone's actions, is the opposite of criticizing their person. QED, stop with all this "fallacy of the week" crap, and accept that others are criticizing what you do, not who you are. Nobody is making up a narrative, and, that's not even how a strawman argument works, so go back to wiki and try again. If who you are means you can't help but make the same schitty choices over and over? Then, your actions do more to prove you're an unmitigated moron, than any words others might chose. You don't have to post garbage, yet you chose to. You don't have to put people on ignore, which 99/100 is a stupid choice, because the ignoree is then free to hilariously crush your posts, and you, and you are none the wiser. But you've made that choice too. We are our choices. And yeah, criticizing someone's choices is: judgment. But, judgment is what separates us from the animals.

Yeah, when one orders a charge, 1/3 of the "soldiers" will go, 1/3 won't understand, and just sit there dumbfounded, and the final 1/3 will pull out a credit card. With the same thing happening on the other side, unfortunately, only the smart people will actually fight and kill each other, leaving us even dumber than we were. Unless....the left side of the civil war keeps its current leaders in charge. Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Howard Dean, and the rest of the clown school...would lose the war so quickly and so decisively, that we couldn't even call it a war. More like an "emergency". In fact, that would be part of their surrender terms: that we not call it a war. Think about it: what if I organized about 100 semi truck drivers, and about 1000 infantry types, to cut off the highways/trains to NYC, Boston, Philly and DC? What would/could the leftists do? Pretty sure this siege/war would last about 24 hours before the surrender...conditional on not calling it a war. EDIT: as far as the thread, this has been beaten to death here, and GG has already stated what needs to stated. Next topic.

Sex Allegations Against Roy Moore Send Republicans Reeling
OCinBuffalo replied to ALF's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Easy. "People". Are. Pissed. Off. "people" are done with the left, the media, government employees, and the average university professor, because "people" have seen and heard from them for 30 years, and nothing good has come from them. Micheal Moore said electing Trump was going to be the biggest F. U. in history. He was wrong. Re-electing Trump is going to be the biggest F. U. in history. We aren't going to stop until the corrections to DC are complete. Trump was/is correct: we never really cared about him personally, and we never will. I don't think he could shoot somebody on 5th Ave, but, I do think he could kick a reporter in the nuts, and get a 3 pt bump in approval rating. All we care about is that he destroys the self-appointed, non-elected, and therefore: wholly unaccountable and incompetent administrative state, and their pals(often husbands and wives ) in the media. All we care about is the bloodless destruction of DC, by forced retirement and flat-out firing, by not hiring new people, and by reducing the # of regulations, therefore reducing the need for regulators. As of today there are STILL 220,000 people, mostly lawyers, in charge writing new regulations, and then, by fiat, enforcing what they write. They cost us $162 million a year, while taking $1.5 TRILLION out of the economy. We'll be done, when there are only 22,000 of them left, and they only have the power that the US Congress expressly gives them, by law. Until then? It doesn't matter what Trump tweets, or what shoes Melania is wearing. Talk about that all you want, when you get done, we're still going to vote for the guy who will put an end to the administrative state. What does this have to do with Roy Moore? Everything, and, nothing. -
The Fire Bell In The Night
OCinBuffalo replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Yeah, it was a strokes of pure genius to, "realistically", tell: 1. Coal miners she was going to put them out of business, when coal mining is a job/directly relates to a job in MI, WI, PA...with Trump winning the rest of the states that depend on coal by blowouts. Great job almost losing VA because of the coal comments, too, Hillary. 2. Calling half of Americans "Deplorable". You can quibble with the details/try, and fail, to wordsmith what she actually said. It don't matter. It's what people heard that matters. Two great examples of being "reserved and realistic". You, again, are an unmitigated moron. Hillary won more votes in CA, which entirely make up her "popular vote" count. Enough with this delusion. We'd be in serious trouble if the people in CA had any more say on what happens in this country than they already do. The good news: by 2020 they will lose more electoral votes, so will NY, and the rest of the blue states. Thus a Democrat who wins the popular vote, but loses the electoral college, is going away soon. 100 years from now...2000-2020 will be nothing more than a quirky footnote in American electoral politics, that less than %1 of the country will know/care about. They will teach 9/11. They won't teach "Hillary should have won", not ever. -

People predicted 4-12, bro. -
So, 4-12 predictors...how's that working out?
OCinBuffalo replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah. This is where I have a choice: you've already been done. You have nowhere to go. I can keep crushing you, or, I can go to the bar. I choose bar, because unlike in other situations: you're not going to learn anything from me continuing this discussion. I was never going to learn anything from you: thus it's pointless. -

Ohhh so you talked smack.... and now you're trying to play it off? I didn't resurrect this thread. I replied to it's resurrection. And, I was right, for like the 500th time on this board, all time. You can step off, because you're never gonna talk your way out. -

And you'd be wrong. Check the history, clown. I replied to this thread, one page ago.. EDIT: ****....I should have bet you. But, I guess after a big Bills win...I'm less inclined to relieve suckers from their $$$$
