Questions: 1. Is this: http://spectator.org/archives/2013/07/05/the-states-case-against-the-st accurate? 2. If so, then, isn't the only reason this case has any significance, is becaue Obama/The Media chose, stupidly, to get into the game and start betting? 3. If #1 is indicative of how this trial is really going, what is going to happen when Zimmerman walks free? 4. If #3, is this going to be another Bush/Gore 2000 thing, that the left will never get right, so, never get over? Are we going to have to hear how all 6 women, the entire justice system, and society as a whole, is racist...for the next year, at least, after? 5. If this is really the best case the prosecution could put on, then how many of you are asking yourselves the same question the article implies comes right out and says: that the only reason charges were filed, was to acquiesse to the wishes of the media/left? Is the state just going through the motions so that nobody can accuse them of indifference? ..which is cowardice instead? What do you think about that? 6. How many of you agree with me though: this is the reason we have trials? When you have a lot of people with emtions running wild, and many of them are psychologically committed to one distortion or another, and it is their favorite distortion they are seeking to prove, while caring next to nothing about the the actual people involved, the facts, etc., a trial is the only way to correct them. So, I don't agree with the "they're just doing this to give the left what it wants" at all. Rather, the objective thing to do is go ahead and have the trial, especially when the POTUS has chosen to involve himself, and regardless of how weak your case is, or whom the outcome will embarrass, it isn't the concern of a supposedly objective District Attorney's office.

Progressives tout California Health care "success"
OCinBuffalo replied to Magox's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Given your posts here, I am absolutey certain I already know more about how a hospital operates, in granular detail, than you will ever even imagine, and we've just started, IMO. I "know"(better stated, our efforts and software have created conditions that have allowed us to: find) things about hospitals that, according to many, no one in health care has ever known. I can back it up to the point that you will beg me to stop. Do you want to see what a real "long post" looks like? But really, I don't actually care enough to bother. This is exciting stuff for us, we are having a lot of fun with it, and my time is better spent on it, rather than trying to teach a dinosaur new tricks. You said specialists don't make multiples of what generalists make in other fields, and that the disproportion of them doesn't exist either. I debunked that. 5 times. Proving that bad business processes exist, or that bad regulation/bad government policy which allows them to exist in health care...has nothing to do with proving whether specialists both exist and are paid the same elsewhere as in health care, or that they aren't just as likely to waste time/money on unnecessary "revenue generation". And you can't read. Yes I did. How much more literal do I have to be? IT is rapidly becoming the exact match of medicine as you describe, in this country. The "generalists" all live elsewhere. This country is where the elite IT is done. At the other end, it's also where you get a guy at Best Buy to help you with your machine. The trend is: many of the "average" IT jobs are being shipped overseas, or engineered out of existence. This is the current course that we are on. Google is run exactly on this premise. Small group. Elite people. No generalists. Paid 5x more than the average IT guy. So, again, I repeat, I and my industry, are your analogy. t's hilarious that you think that your specialists adding unnecessary work = more revenue for them, is some unique thing that only doctors do. Clearly you don't know any corporate sales guys. On that note, I'm sure no laywer has ever "generated revenue" by overbilling, or, isn't running commercials I am watching right F'ing now, starting frivolous lawsuits in the pursuit of "revenue generation". What is the difference between unnecessary test, and unnecessary lawsuit, exactly? And to be fair: I am sure no consultant has ever double billed an hour(er um, quadruple billed ), because he could get away with it, and because his boss first rationalized, and then demanded it. Yes, my own life experience never happened...according to you. And finally, the entire Federal government is an object lesson in wasting money all over the place on "specialists", who are paid 5x more than others in their "field". The difference is: neither the generalist or the specialist are worth a damn. The above = "Get off my lawn". You have what data that backs this up? Yeah, the Open Source/Start Up community wants to hear all about how they'd be better off working at IBM. When can we expect your lecture on the wonders of working at the big company, where software goes to die? Will you be posting it on Youtube? Next time I'm in San Mateo, I'll be sure to look up your lunch workshop. How could I miss perhaps the most hilarious, idiocy-based, unintentional, real life trolling event of the decade? Well, I don't know squash boy. I have an idea though: I will submit it to the government, and tell them that I plan to prove that minorities suffer due to their "sytemically-generated squash familiarity deficit", in comparison to yours. (Yet another thing for you to feel guilty about, so, that's great, isn't it?). What is the % chance that it will be funded? You'd be all of this, becaue it is the "more moral" thing to do, right? And of course, it "creates jobs", which are all "shovel ready". Edit #1: Reading through the rest of the thread, I see Tasker already beat the schit out of the lawyer example. Edit #2: Most personal experience probably is BS. However, that's not the same thing as saying it doesn't exist. -
Ah... ...lybob. Who but you could miss the point so perfectly? Nobody was starting "Dick Cheney is running wild and pushing Bush into bad decisions" threads. No, that would be too nuanced, and would require thought. Instead, it was Bush Lied bumpersticker, "he played on our fears", etc. In order to be played, the player has to be smarter than the playee. Or, the playee has to be a complete dolt, and, the player, only slightly less of one. Which is why this: would be the opposite of right, under those conditions. Hillary Clinton voted for the Iraq war, which means either she is a dolt, and Bush just slightly less of one, or, Bush is smart enough to have fooled her. In all cases, the point refers to the focus on Bush, being complete dolt, yet devious enough to fool half the world, at the same time, and the incoherence of that position. Cheney was never referred to in the irrational screeds we were exposed to here. Now, have either of you figured out why logic demands that you can't support Obamacare, and Obamigration, at the same time? I sincerely doubt it. I am not going to tell you the answer. Let's use this as a test to see if those on the left are in fact entitled to the superior intellect they consistently claim to have over those on the right. Wrong. In fact, raising taxes within the construct of these 2 things taken together, merely serves to exacerbate the combined design flaw. If anything, raising taxes wll expose the flaw in such a way that even ...lybob will be able to understand it.

Yes, the trouble with that is: that's not how we operate in this country. If we locked peole up for their mental issues? Wouldn't Joe Biden be impeached and in jail, right now? IF neuroses was a crime, pretty much everybody at MSNBC and CNN, and more than a few at Fox would be in jail. Geraldo would have been doing a life sentence after the Chicago Gangster's Vault fiasco. We'd have literally 0 celebrities free, and many pro athletes would be gone too. The acting profession would be done in a day. Look, this seems straightforward: 1. Somebody was tired of trouble causing trouble, so they went looking for it. 2. They found it. 3. When the other somebody realized they were being called trouble, instead of explaining that they weren't 4. They chose to become trouble Why the one guy went looking for trouble, and why the other guy decided to become trouble? Who knows? One thing is clear: our choices define us. If Martin has simply said: no trouble here, instead of "Now you do"(have a problem)?

Some one needs to read more, comprehend more, and then comment. This is: "targeted" sarcasm. Edit: Oh, and the other thing? someone needs to realize that the "target" is one of the more famous "I haven't been to PPP since 2009, when I suddenly realized that my behavior on that board from 2005 on, and Obama's behavior, were going to combine to make a perfect storm of: hazing for me, every...single...day. So, I ran far, far away".

Do you think this is news? The Democratic game plan has been well known to many for years. It's only you that thinks you're being clever. But, I have news. Just as you are the only one who sees what they are up to, and why, the outcome you describe isn't the only one either. I have a feeling, and let's just say: it's based on experience with people like yourself, that in the end you will get the opposite of what you intended. I mean, you liberals do have a long and broad history of getting the opposite of your intentions, do you not? But, I refuse to give you the answer. What would be the point? In the end we'll see who is right. For now, the funny part for me is that I've been in heath care less time than you, yet I can see multiple paths here, and you can see only one? How is that possible? Nonsense again. I am your analogy. I exist and my specialities exist for a single purpose: necessity. How I obtained them: default. Somebody had to do them, and the older, wiser generalists wanted nothing to do with them. Why risk being fired when you can just do your standard GUI/app code, and leave the complicated analytics and workflow stuff to the kid? More examples? The partner we have who specializes only in business process in health care charges 3x the rate of other consultants. The SQL specialist guy I know who bills 2x as much as any other DBA type. The guy I met at my first internship who could cluster Vaxes. The guys I've routinely met since, who cluster Oracle. People that are willing to take on the risk, and suffer the consequences, if the clustering turns into cluster F? Specialists. Elite Specialists. There are some people who do nothing but integration of multiple messy systems with multiple divisional presidents who hate each other. They actually enjoy that, and yeah, they get paid a hell of a lot more than the guy who does IT for the hospital. Again birdog, this is about you, your choices, and your values. It is not based on economics, or reality. Specialists do in fact exist in every industy, and they are paid accordingly. But let's get back to yours, and kill off your argument: Who is willing and able to do heart surgery? What are the consequences for failure? Who is willing to do it in spite of the consequences? How much time does the head of the elite cardio department of the elite hospital spend at home...picking out squash? See the thing is birdog: I personally know the head of that department, and what his life is like, and, I've read enough about you to know what your life is like(see squash). You aren't the same people, what he does is 100% by necessity, and yeah, he deserves to be paid 5x as much as you do, at least. -

Well, I'm suggesting that you like donkey porn. And, what's worse, I'm suggesting that your donkey porn infatuation is merely superficial. Had you spent more time watching Fox News, instead of whatever drivel you currently watch, you would have an in depth understanding of it, and you'd either be much more committed to it, or you'd leave it be. But, no, you watch MSNBC, or whatever, and therefore, you'll never progress in donkey porn, and most of your thoughts about it are therefore: worthless. And, if the above wasn't enough to prove to you just how vacuous your argument is: I've proceeded to extend your lack of logic in every thread above this one, when I found it. Enjoy. You've been made to look exactly like the unmitigated moron you are...10x over. And, it barely took any effort on my part. This is worse than the correlation/causation and the 3.5 idiocy. This is you making up crap, and not only trying to form an educated opinion based on it, but actually stating it as fact. It's hilarious stupidity. Thank you for the laughs. You, talking about being "informed"? What a great start to a Wednesday, or should I say: Favorable Day? -
Oh please, with Fox News constantly suppressing the truth about Turkmenistan how was Lopez supposed to know? She was performing on Rest Day, Oguz Khan 30th, which confused her. In her confusion, she decided the best thing to do was go on with the show. (A helpful link to prevent you from being confused by Fox as well: http://en.wikipedia....s_of_week,_2002) Of course, Fox News isn't going to report that they've been trying, and succeeding, at confusing celebrities into saying stupid things on their air for years. Yes, confused, because liberal celebrites never say anything blatantly stupid.

Obviously too much Fox News. Don't you understand that it's a woman's right to have a late-term abortion, especially if her and the father suddenly have a fight or a falling out? I mean, if 2 weeks before she's due, the father decides that he's going to do somethign stupid like force the child to go to church on Sunday, the woman has every right to end it, right then and there. Expand your mind, stop listening to these teabaggers. -

Hehehe. Small mind. Looks like somebody has been watching too much Fox News. You just aren't capable of seeing the brillance of the design, are you? So, you sit in your little office, in your little world, and spew hateful things on the internet. This is why we need the more enlightened people to make the decisions, because if it was left to people like you, nothing would ever be done, and what was would be done with as little concern for the downtrodden as possible. See Tom, you simply aren't committed enough to a better society. I question your belief in it as well. Until such time as your beliefs match those who do understand the world correctly, you simply won't be able to comprehend things like Obamacare. -
The same could be said about qaulity of journalism. Fox News has driven down the standards in the business. Fox is exactly like China, and many of the people at Fox have made a lot of money collaborating with the Chinese. This easily explains how the rest of the media missed the boat on all these "stories". Had they been up to standard, they would have gotten ahead of the scandals, and told us the real facts long before Fox News had a chance to spew their distortions. But, since Fox News has already suceeded in lowering the standard for journalism, the rest of the media didn't have the ability or skill to go and find the stories before Fox did. And, WRT to steel, Fox News has been pushing for the destruction of every single manufacturing job in America, since they went on air. How, they opposed card check. They don't seem to realize that the unions create steel. Opposing the unions is opposing steel. Any idiot can see that.

Well now...isn't dog's problem obvious? Too much Fox News. I mean, it's right there in front of you, if you aren't a trailer trash, no teeth, Tea Partier that watches too much Fox News, you could easily see it. (Which is hysterical, BTW, because every time I hear somebody say that, I go back to the real demographics of the Tea Party. They are more likely to be better educated, live in a better house, have better kids, more money, and certainly better teeth that the somebody who says that, but, why let the real data get in the way of the fairy tale? Ahem, back into White's Bay idiot characater....) Consider: Dog's position is made up, and he said so himself. Well, so is pretty much everything on Fox News. So there you go. Correlation, Causation, and everything you want. See how simple it is, once you elevate your thinking and get up to my level? This afternoon, I will be explaining how Obamacare will lower health care cost.

Browns owner may be $4,000,000,000 in debt
OCinBuffalo replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I think all of you are missing the boat here. Since the beginning, Fox News has been pushing for deregulation of everything. In fact, there are even against this thing: http://image.made-in-china.com/2f0j00hMKESOurCIkg/Energy-Saving-Gas-Regulator.jpg for 2 reasons: 1. It saves energy, and that is bad, because Fox News is run by the oil companies, and their corrupted scientists appear regularly. They have no interest in saving energy, or saving money, because for all their talk about economic freedom, they just want more money. 2. It's made in China, and that is bad, because Fox News has this preoccupation with socialism, and a distorted view of it. For some crazy reason they can't seem to find a single country where socialism has made a marked improvement. They just don't see Sweden as the world power it truly is. Fox News has been against these guys from the beginning as well: what else explains the near destruction of the career of everybody on that list, except Keifer Sutherland, who also happens to be right-leaning? Coincidence, or a concerted effort by Fox News to destroy the heroes of regulation? And what of this guy? http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/400x/22702915.jpg Many of you would be surprised to learn that he is now one of the best regulators in the country. But, you've never heard of him, have you? Why? Constant marginalization of regulators and regulation from, you guessed it: Fox News. -
All this, and nothing about Fox New's role in forcing Obama to Africa? I mean, come on, the man has been blamed for so much, and Fox News is doing all the blaming, so, isn't it obvious to you B-Man who's really to blame here? Fox News has become so powerful(yet it completely sucks and no rational person should attend to it, at the same time) that what is Obama supposed to do against it?

Where is the thought in any of that? That's not thinking, that's the absence of reason. "It's too hard" = emoting, not thinking. Oh, I don't know, how about we get the F rid of Obamacare, which is the #1 issue that is causing the uncertainty-->risk-->refusal to hire more people....and more importantly, refusal to invest in training more people, so that they can be hired, in a structurally stressed workforce. When you do the F'ing math(not a skill most liberals posses), and you've actually looked at a balance sheet, ever, in your life, you realize that for almost every business, Obamacare is going to eat their training budget, along with other budgets as well. It's simply not cost effective to hire anybody, as long as Obamacare is hanging over your head. In an economy that has structural issues, ANYTHING that eats training $ = FAIL. Add to that most large outfits are keeping their money off-shore, because there's no way they are going to bring it here, given the idiocy of this Administration. You can't force them to do it, and, as long as it's sitting there, they won't use it to re-invest in their businesses, which ALSO MEANS THEY WON'T HIRE. Is this simple cause and effect still that hard to see, for 4 years now? Is it going to take 7 before you dopes realize you know nothing about how the world works? That we live in a GLOBAL economy, and that doing stupid here, means Apple finds someplace else where they do less stupid, or even: smart? How about you start by learning some basic economics, to include understanding what structural unemployment is, what causes it, and realize that Keynesian Stimulus does: exactly nothing to fix it. How about we learn that Reagan's version of supply side economics is the cure for structural, because it F'ing is. How about we also learn that ideology-driven econ is idiocy. There are situations where Keynesian works, and obviously, where supply side works. Running around and claiming that only one works, is like running around and claiming hammers work, but screwdrivers don't. A choice confronts you. You know what's mindless? Choosing to pretend like everything I've written here isn't absolutely true, and that the only reason I'm saying is because I don't like you, Obama, or Democrats.

I agree on all points. However, bad judgement is in no way limited to men. And, if we are being literal, it doesn't matter if the little thang is in our pants, or out, if there's no place to put it. Correct? So, no, women have the final say, and therefore, they, by definition, have more responsibility....if we are being literal. -

Of course. No wrapper. Then, if she did get pregnant, I'd insist she have an abortion. If she refused, I'd require her to say "I am a giant hypocrite" every time she saw me, or, I'd name the kid Hypocrite Walsh. -
About 6 years ago, I asked this board: "How can George W Bush be a complete dolt, AND, a skillful enough liar to fool so many smart people(like Hillary Clinton, PastaJoe), at the same time?" The answer is: he cannot be. He is either one, the other, or neither. He cannot be both. These are the LOGICAL conclusions. In case you don't know, we had posters here who would start a "Bush Idiot" thread on one day, and a "Bush Evil Genius" thread the next. Thus, the question was not only appropriate, it was hilarious...for me. Now I see we have yet another Collision of Democrat Idiocy on the horizon. It is nearly identical, logically. The new question: "How can you support Obamacare, and Obama Immigration, at the same time?" That's it. That's the new question. Don't give them the answer. (Especially not the Wall Street Jedi Council or our resident Knows It Some. I'm thinking about banning him from the thread right now, or for at least the first 2 pages, but, I am going to trust that he gets it.) Leave it to them. Be patient, the fun will come. I have another question, but how I ask it is contingent upon how they answer the first one.

The Ghost of Hypocrite Democrat Past says: Yes, Ms. Riefenstahl http://en.wikipedia....eni_Riefenstahl, tell us more about how life works, that bad behavior on your side is merely misunderstood nuance, or the result of celebrity, while at the same time sitting there with your finger on the camera, waiting for the same F up from a Republican. Hilarious. The Ghost of Hypocrite Democrat Present says: How about SameOldBills tells us which other prominent Democratic hypocrites are marginalize-ready? Consider: If we treated every other hypocrite Democrat the same way as SameOldBills wants to treat Alec Baldwin...perhaps 3 people would show up at their convention, and it'd be at Denny's. Democratic support of Obama's position on drones and the Patriot act alone turns 3/4 of Democrats into giant, D-bag hypocrites. The Ghost of Hypocrite Democrat Future says: Boy ain't it going to be hilarious when they try to explain the collision of Obamacare idiocy with Immigration reform idiocy? Example #1: It will become cheaper to hire a "newly legal" worker who cannot, by law, qualify for Obamacare, than one who was born here, and is therefore, Obamacare-ready. Thus, the non-Obamacare worker will push the Obamacare worker into a position where he cannot find work, which will be called "fine" by Obamacare idiots, because he will be "subsidized". Meanwhile, other Democratic idiots will claim that the non-Obamacare worker should not be forced to pay for Obamacare, because he cannot derive benefit from it. Thus, the people who are supposed to have a huge hand in paying for the Obamacare workers subsidization: won't. The Federal Deficit will rise, and the "Deficit is no big deal" idiots(Paul Krugman) will tell us that it's everybody's fault but theirs. It will be a fight of Democrat idiots against each other, all sound and fury, signifying only stupidity, hubris...and hilarity...for me. Provide we get past it, and kill off this idiocy, it's going to be fun watching Paul Krugman, and the rest of the intellectuals, argue against themselves for the 16 months or so that it will take to remove their stupidity.

Giant Chinese Ponzi Scheme
OCinBuffalo replied to birdog1960's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Well, since China invented bureaucracy, I would think you 2 clowns would be all for whatever they were doing today. The irony of you decrying the corruption of China, when both of you do nothing but support increasing the corruption, or potential for it, in DC, is pure hilarity. Yeah, Obamacare is never ever going to be corrupted....for the same reason Medicare has 0 corruption today. ...lybob has some excuse, because he is a linear-thinking buffoon. However, birdog has 0 excuse, because a doctor was, at least at one point, forced to think in the abstract. It's hilarious how you 2 unmitigated morons will decry centralization of power on Wall Street, but instantly drop to your knees for anyone who wants to centralize power in DC. It's even more hilarious that you 2 think there's a difference, when it comes to centralizing power, anywhere, at any time. But, it's simple really, neither of you think at all. You merely: emote. -
Yeah, that would be good too. The thing is, the 3 guys just remind me of 3 dudes you'd likely see hanging out together when you first pull into your parking spot. If you gave the guy with a beard a Bills took, a pretentious craft beer growler, Camel Lights, and a propensity to say things like "None of you clowns know anything about wine, and instead of calling me, you compound your pathetic existence by serving this?", you'd pretty much have one of my friends. Especially the schadenfreude look on his face as anyone, man or woman, got owned that badly.
-
Um dude, that is hysterical. Now, a suggestion? I don't want to mess with your work, but, is there any way you could put some Bills jerseys, hats, tooks, etc on the three guys in back?
