  1. Omaha! I grew to hate that show. Even without cable, my Dad would find it on multiple channels.
  2. Ahem. This regime brought in Benjamin, Tolbert, Gore, etc and tried to sign Greg Olsen. Yes, most were ex-Carolina players but they were all guys with their best days behind them. Benjamin was the only knucklehead though.
  3. Caught the last few minutes and it was again difficult to watch. The clock operator kept letting it run after incompletions. Then, how the refs didn’t see the face mask infraction on Allen’s 4th down run still amazes me. Didn’t really matter as Allen got the first down followed by a Beasley reception which got them closer than the half the distance penalty would’ve. The pass to Knox was so close which was a bummer since he was open. A more athletic TE might have been able to jump for it. Finally, for those who thought Ford got better as the season went on, on the final play, he pushes the defender once with arms extended but then lets him go, forcing Josh to throw up a prayer where Cole B Smurf was outjumped for the ball by the DB. Aarrgghh! I don’t know why I let myself rewatch losses.
  4. Yes, and the most overlooked part of Bruce’s success is that he had the most sacks in NFL history playing DE in a 3-4 defense. He would also have a lot of tackles, twice over 100 tackles in a season.
  5. Marv is overrated. He was out coached in all 4 Super Bowls.
  6. Then they get a little bit of a break in that the game after MNF is Sunday night at home VS Pittsburgh. Better than a day game, although best case scenario would be a bye after MNF. I’ve done the SF Bay Area to Buffalo many times. It’s brutal losing that 3 hours.
  7. Yeah, I watched that E60 episode about him. It was gross. His leg looked like a half eaten turkey leg. He came close to losing his life as well as his leg.
  8. It was the suggestion of the Belarus president. Drink more vodka!
  9. I had forgotten that. So Satan replaced 2 icons in Landry and Shula.
  10. Their, they’re thigh Inglish mayger. Ewe could of just let that won geaux!
  11. Tennessee also didn’t pick up Corey Davis’s option.
  12. 2004: a dismal start leaves them at 0-4 and then 1-5. In weeks 11 thru 16 they have probably the best 6 game stretch in franchise history, scoring at least 33 points in each game, winning each by double digits with most by big margins. Then, all they need to do is beat the Pittsburgh backups to get in the playoffs and they lose.
  13. Well, for those who like to reference the Combine stats, Murphy did very well. He was first in the 3 Cone Drill, second in the 20 yd shuttle and 4th out of 9 in the 40 yd time. His numbers of course are from a few years ago and don’t take into account his age and injury history.
  14. I’d say it’s very unlikely that the SEC doesn’t play.
  15. There’s been a lot of Bills I’ve liked but have to go with my boyhood idol Bob Chandler.
  16. Okay, who left the Koolaid out?!
  17. No, the real reason he went to the Bucs is that he wanted another angle for his TB12 brand. TB in TB.
  18. 25 games and only half a sack? Training camp fodder.
  19. I have a friend who’s wife can’t stand when the available space gets below 50% so she starts deleting shows he hasn’t watched yet. Oy vay! Luckily, my wife got the new Roku TV so she just watches Netflix.
  20. You were on a good track until you threw Lee Smith in there.
  21. There was also giving Jauron a big contract extension after, what was it, a 5-1 start and giving Fitz a big extension after a good start. Jauron’s actually didn’t matter much when he was fired anyways but Fitz’s deal affected the salary cap. Also, why did Chris Kelsey keep deserving notable extensions? Great locker room guy?!
  22. I wish we had detailed data as to what sacks and pass rush in backfield were totally the fault of the O-line. I know Ford struggled a lot and maybe only Morse is above average but play calling and play design also have to be considered. It drives me nuts when the Bills run an empty backfield on 3rd and 3. First of all, you take away the unknown of pass vs run. Second, if someone misses an assignment or just loses their battle, there’s no back to cover up. Now Singletary was a rookie and is small, but he likely wouldn’t be useless back there. Even a chip of the rusher before going out on a pattern would help.
  23. I’m sure that’s what the thought was when Gary Anderson was drafted many seasons ago
  24. Fromm wasn’t picked until the 5th?!
