  1. I don’t remember the specifics but it seems that in the last few seasons there have been other QBs who are benched after losing to the Bills. Coaches have also been fired after a loss to Buffalo.
  2. Yes, on offense the play calling and execution were fun to watch. It was always the other teams that had receivers wide open or were able to force their way to a first down. That one play by Beasley where he caught the short pass and willed his way to a first down was like what Welker and Edelman always did vs the Bills. Gore would not be stopped on his TD, then that 3rd and long run deep in our own end for a first down was awesome.
  3. You’re both right. In 2018 there were 13 games as part of the Thursday Night Football franchise. Of those, 7 were decided by 14 points or more. Of the other 6, four were decided by 4 points or less.
  4. To those who know who Cary Grant is: “Jeudy! Jeudy! Jeudy!”
  5. Hey, when Pete Carroll calls a pass play at the goal line in the Super Bowl when he has Marshawn Lynch in the backfield, McD starts a Nathan Peterman on the road when Taylor had led the team to a winning record, Maybin is drafted, Wade Phillips decides he wants an Eric Flowers in the first round when everyone else rated him much lower, and Rex Ryan doesn’t challenge an obvious wrong call in KC because they didn’t show it on the big board, I know some of us are smarter than these guys. ?
  6. I want Howard Cosell back doing the MNFHighlights. Since that’s not possible, i’d settle for Frank Caliendo doing them as Howard.
  7. Somebody just give Gordon some free joints.
  8. Milano and Poyer with 9 tackles each, Edmunds with 8. Total team defensive effort.
  9. Even when he was healthy in the past, he didn’t put up solid numbers consistently. Hope this year is different. Of course, will the Giants view the game recording and adjust their defense towards him? We’ll see. If so, have to make adjustments. Beasely had 5 receptions and it seemed like they were all in the 1st Qtr.
  10. Josh Allen- 24 for 37, 64.9%, 254 yards, 6.9 yds per attempt, INTs give him a poor 71.2 QB Rating Sam Darnold, 28 for 41, 68.3%, 175 yds, 4.3 yds per attempt, no turnovers, gave him a QB rating of 84.9 Who cares!!! Allen led his team to victory. QB rating doesn’t mean much here.
  11. Yeah, I agree. How many times in any NFL game, do we see on 3rd and short, teams go to the spread with an empty backfield? Makes no sense. Remember the Bills’ K-Gun? Three or four receivers but Thurman in the backfield. Give it to him and it’s an easy first down as the DBs are busy with receivers while the D-Line doesn’t know whether to pass rush or play the run.
  12. And John Harbaugh again really has his team ready to play their opener.
  13. Ah, this move was only to get info on the Steelers. He’ll be cut on Monday! ?
  14. The main issue of course has been his inconsistency. You just hope he doesn’t shank one when we’re deep in our own territory in the 4th Qtr. Looking at the stats for last season, Bojo was tied for 16th in the NFL with a 45.1 yard average. He was tied for 21st in Net Average at 39.4 yards. This is a stat with many factors. For punts that are returned, a lot is on the coverage team. If one guy is caught out of his lane, it could result in a long return which messes up this average. Of course, punts with a good hang time may not be returned. Bojo had 22 of 45 punts returned, which isn’t very good. For comparison, the leaders in Net Avg were Morstead of the Saints and Hekker of the Rams and each had 43 punts, with only 12 each returned. in summary, Bojo is definitely not one of the better punters in the NFL, but he’s also not the worst.
  15. I saw a Texans depth chart that had Seantrell Henderson as their starting RT.
  16. Next, Brown will be seen on the sideline yelling at Carr. Good take. Knock on wood if you’re with me.
  17. Didnt Roger Goodell grow up as a Bills fan? Is he going out of his way to not show favoritism towards them like Tasker on regular season broadcasts?
  18. Realistically, there is little chance the Bills make the next Super Bowl. Given that, I will be rooting for them every game and hope they contend for the playoffs. So, besides that, my rooting interests will continue to be against the Patriots. If they get to the Super Bowl again, I may not watch and I’ve watched every one starting with IV. I just can’t stand that team anymore. The Sunday night game this week is a good matchup with them vs the Steelers but I’m not sure I’ll watch it.
  19. Yeah, and some people want to do away with preseason games. Well this is what you get when they have them but the coaches don’t play their starters
  20. 1973. OJ sets rushing record with 250 yards as Bills rout Pats.
