  1. Did his hatred start before or after he had to work with Skip Bayless?
  2. Thanks for the reminder on The Rookie. I got a new DVR in August and forgot about it and didn’t set it up to record. Glad we have On Demand
  3. Well, since he coached under Belechick, the game-to-game game plan makes sense. What I don’t understand is not exploiting the other teams’ weaknesses, like barely running the ball against the Browns bad run defense.
  4. Still doesn’t compare to Rae Carruth. I don’t know why they let him out.
  5. There was just a recent comment that now he wants to play until 47.
  6. I was just watching episode 6 of season 2 where they go into an office in Caracas, Venezuela posing as businessmen from Canada who want to set up a company there. They say they’re in the coffee business and when the male receptionist asks for a name, Wendell Pierce, as James Greer, says “Timothy Horton.” LOL!
  7. The pressure was awesome to watch. Rushing only four wasn’t working well enough. See comments above.
  8. There were a few plays where he was standing in the pocket for several seconds with nobody near him. Looked like he wanted to run but hung in and found somebody open.
  9. Yep, despite the improved run defense today, Zeke Elliot should run for about 150 yards in that game.
  10. Yes, I think they would probably expand the world games for the 17th game as a neutral site game. They have so many cities to choose from. Dubai would probably bring in the big bucks.
  11. Scott Chandler? Charles Clay’s numbers were about the same in his first 3 years.
  12. Yes, Kap was regressing with the Niners. When he was starting, he threw an out and it was a pick-six. Next game same thing happened. After that he was reluctant to throw outs and his confidence tanked. His play in his early years was awesome at times. I’ve never seen another run like he made vs Green Bay in the playoffs. With that long stride, it was over in a second.
  13. And to Houston and Kansas City for building their offenses around their QBs talents. I got sick of hearing the discussion about college QBs and comments that “ he doesn’t come from a Pro style offense” and wondered whether there was an NFL Bible that said “Thou shalt not deviate from a pro style offense”. Finally these teams made the right moves. Of course, the Bills have had their share of instances where they try plugging round pegs into square holes. Drives me crazy. Rex may have been the worst.
  14. IIRC years ago, if Team A was called for a 15 yard penalty and Team B a 5 yard penalty, they enforced the 15 yarder. I didn’t like when they had them offset.
  15. Yes, the players have to make the plays but coaching lost that game. How do you not prepare for an on-side kick after the first Kent TD? Then, when they finally get the ball back after 2 TDs, they call a pass which is incomplete and stops the clock? The way the running game was working all game you decide to pass? They didn’t challenge any of those blatant wrong ref calls in the first half?
  16. And there are several QBs who were thought to be the answer for their teams who have since regressed: Mariota, Goff, Trubisky, Mayfield, Wentz
  17. Chan Gailey’s offense was more fun to watch as was the 2002 offense with Bledsoe.
  18. Unfortunately, unless you were on the field or the sideline, you don’t know if it was the play call, an option on the play called, Josh audibling or just winging it.
  19. It very well could come down to that game in Pittsburgh, where the Bills have won twice in 12 games, with the last in 1993. The way they’re playing though, I’m not sure they’ll win all of those three you assumed. Anybody know their travel plans this week. They need some time to adjust to the different climate.
  20. As I stated in other threads, Singletary averaged 5.3 yards per carry. How did that production force them to go away from the run and pass more? They started out throwing on the first play.
  21. The safeties aren’t making as many big plays so far this season. Hyde has been Dr Jekyll.
  22. Yeah, I remember Levy rotating O-linemen and when asked about it said “Continuity is overrated.” That was the only time in all those years with him that I disagreed with something he said.
