  1. Yep, negative reactions and selective memory by some. I was at that game. The first INT was a short pass that was a little off target that DiMarco popped up in the air. Two others were in the face of a rush that affected the throws. Still, I admit, when it got to five INTs, we were calling for Tyrod. He is fortunate to be making that kind of money with such a history.
  2. That reminds me of when my parents came out west for my wedding. Took them to see the sights. “Here”s the ocean!” Response: “Eh, we have the lake.”
  3. I’d like to say TE Hunter Henry but his price tag and the Bills likely cap room make it very unlikely. Jonnu Smith would be a good 2nd option. Goodbye Tyler Kraft.
  4. This goes back to a point I’ve mentioned frequently. I don’t understand how the Rams and Cardinals, competing for playoff spots had nobodies with zero game experience as their backup QBs. It’s insane. The QB position is the most important so you should have a solid backup. With guys like Mark Sanchez and Leinart still in their mid 30s, I don’t understand why they are no longer in the NFL. No, they’re not great, but their experienced vets who could fill in for a couple games. Other than the Saints this season with Winston and the Chiefs with Henne, most teams are ill prepared for an injury to their starting QB. Heck, I’d even sign a 40+ year old Josh McCown vs guys with little or no experience like Davis Webb and Jake Fromm Stare Farm. Regarding Barkley, if the guy couldn’t play, his relationship with Josh should mean nothing, Bbecause he’s somewhat serviceable and has experience, especially within their system, I think he should be kept around. I also can never understand why most NFL teams carry only 2 QBs. Again, most important position on the team and you’re going to go with an emergency QB if your 2 QBs both get hurt?
  5. I think Roberts is still a guy worth keeping. His kickoff return average of 30.0 led the league and he was 7th in punt return average. He had some kickoff returns out of the end zone that were mistakes but there were at least a couple games where his big return of the opening kick got the team rolling early. They can be a huge spark.
  6. Yeah, I know the Bills rotate their D-Line a lot but Mario’s streak of seasons with 9 or more sacks ended. He’ll turn 34 at the start of the next season, so the reduced sack #’s could be an omen.
  7. Every time I see both those guys mentioned, I think of Frank Caliendo. “ Todd! Todd! Todd!”
  8. Sure is, but they had a lot of competition for Stafford.
  9. There used to be a 3rd place game for the NCAA Basketball Tournament. I don’t recall why they got rid of it but I don’t think anyone misses it.
  10. Rodgers said he didn’t run on 3rd down because he thought he would get 4th down but it sure looked like he could make it from most camera angles.
  11. John Ross has done nothing in the NFL and is always injured. He has speed but the most important ability is dependability.
  12. Would that be some players named Jefferson, Butler and Addison?
  13. I remember he was with the Bills there were comments here like : “Why can’t he get Tyrod to throw over the middle?” and “Who is this guy and how can we expect him to groom Josh?”
  14. IIRC Harmon compounded that drop by stating after the game that it was the throw. He didn’t take all the responsibility.
  15. It’ll be tough to get that bye if the NFL has the same format. Think about it, they went 13-3 and were 2nd seed.
  16. McD said he decided to take the FG before the half because he wanted some points since KC got the 2nd half kickoff.
  17. If that’s a joke, I don’t get it. He’s actually the Clemson RBs coach.
  18. The GM added Jefferson and Butler and later Zimmer. They just didn’t work out.
  19. Because they play a zone defense and Kelce easily found the holes. I hate zone defense.
