  1. That seems to be a no-brainer. They can sell him on being able to compete for a starting position.
  2. The year they drafted Bruce Smith (1985), they also picked Andre Reed and Frank Reich.
  3. Well, ignoring Beane’s comments that Rousseau will focus on playing DE in his first year, he was known for his pass rush from the inside.
  4. My thoughts exactly. JOK was being mocked in late teens to early 20s and he drops in your lap at 30 and you don’t take him?! He is the perfect athlete to add to deal with the Chiefs speed. Kiper and the ESPN panel were critical that Roussea’s 15 sacks in 2019 mainly were coverage sacks and QBs running into him. Most were from him playing the nose, not on the edge. I liked Tryon better. I would’ve also been happier with A. Samuel Jr. My first reaction grade: C
  5. A fair amount of DL/Edge are seniors and redshirt juniors so they could’ve met with some at the Senior Bowl.
  6. Geez, some of those names. You could have an all religious draft: Christian, Amen, Creed, Israel, Divine
  7. I look at Etienne as a CJ Spiller-type and not because he also went to Clemson. In the NFL, he’s likely going to be that scatback that Buddy Nix envisioned for Spiller. Spiller was a bad pick then because of the state of the team. He should’ve been used liked Darren Sproles, with 50-60 receptions at least. His high with the Bills was 43. This Bills team is in a better position to make a pick of Etienne, but at 30, not trading other draft capital to move up for him. I love what Brandon Beane has done overall but it seems he gets too emotional about some players, resulting in trade-ups. The videos of the draft room from 2 years ago are a perfect example. He couldn’t be patient to see if Cody Ford would still be there for their pick so he had to trade up to get him. Then he did the same thing with Knox in the 4th round. He also seemed to be enamored with film clips of Devin Singletary, stating he was amazed at some of his moves. Well, it’s been only 2 years but I’d.say all 3 of those players have not yet met expectations.
  8. I was thinking about the only players that it would be worth trading for that would significantly benefit the Bills are Pitts and JOK. Pitts would take a lot in trade though as you’d likely have to get to 4 or 5. JOK could be more reasonable as I’ve seen him in most mocks in the late teens to low 20s.
  9. Exactly. When the rumor surfaced that the Niners moved up to the 3rd pick, I looked at NFL.COM, where Zierlien had him as the 36th prospect.
  10. Eh, the three-and-out offenses before last year left the defense on the field a lot.
  11. Yes, I don’t believe they take a QB, even if they had a 2nd round grade on one and he’s available in the 7th.
  12. Thanks for sharing. It was great to reminisce, especially seeing Bobby C. Last season at the Rockpile. I don’t remember MLB Ken Lee at all.
  13. FWIW, Lance Zierlien of NFL.COM has him projected as a 3-4 OLB and in the 4th round.
  14. Did you guys see that clip of him working out in the woods, tossing tree stumps?
  15. “can’t pass block” or won’t? It’s a matter of learning and effort.
  16. I like what I read about him on NFL.COM. Sounds like he just needs more experience and coaching.
  17. How about the Bills defense that let WR Mark Ingram break several tackles to convert a 3rd and 17?
  18. And he followed it up by saying the pass was off.
