  1. With some past management teams, you’d suspect they thought it was OJ Howard.
  2. This is so dumb. With so much continuous water on the planet, how do you designate where they change? Are their buoys with signs saying “Welcome to the Southern Ocean”?
  3. The Bisons (so that nickname was used for all 4 major sports. How original!) were established in 1946 as a member of the National Basketball League (NBL). The team only lasted there for 13 games (38 days) as poor attendance forced a move to Moline, Illinois to become the Tri-Cities Blackhawks. They eventually moved to Milwaukee and became the Hawks, then St Louis, where they won their only title, and finally Atlanta.
  4. Yes, but as a Larry Bird Celtics fan. Later in the 90s I actually liked the Cleveland team with Brad Daugherty, Larry Nance and Mark Price. Also, the Utah team with Stockton and Malone. Despite Jordan and the Bulls dominance, that era overall was ugly basketball. With also the Pistons and Knicks, There were too many grind it out defensive battles with scores in the 80s or lower.
  5. Yes, Dak averaged 370 yards passing thru 5 games and he was injured during game 5. He had 450+ yards in each of games 2 thru 4. I’d say he was on pace for most passing yards in a season.
  6. Yes, Dak was averaging 370+passing yards per game thru 5 games, being injured during the 5th game. He had 450+ yards in each of weeks 2 thru 4. I’d say he was on pace to have a chance at beating Peyton Manning’s record of 5,477 yards.
  7. I agree with you. They lost RB J.Williams but drafted AJ Dillon last year. If they had another consistent WR even approaching what Beasley does, I might put them ahead of the Cowgirls.
  8. Every time I see a picture of Murray, I think child molester.
  9. Gotta be for Josh’s extension. Beane said it would be priority after draft.
  10. In my mind, it can’t be a regular season play. There’s enough playoff history to pick from. Wide Right is at the top because it could’ve won a Super Bowl. Second would be Thurman fumbling early in the 2nd half of Super Bowl 28. It ended up a scoop and score to tie the game but deflated the Bills and gave Dallas all the momentum. Third is the Music City Miracle. It seemed the game was over and all the Bills had to do is make a tackle on the kickoff. I SAID ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS MAKE A TACKLE ON THE KICKOFF!
  11. Remember when Bruce Smith refused to get a flu shot, got the flu and missed a playoff game. Not quite as impactful but still selfish and irresponsible.
  12. In the spirit of Andy Rooney, brought up here recently: ”Have you ever heard of someone being called gruntled?” (I looked it up. It’s a word)
  13. They want to get to 85% vaccinated. “Tre, can we get you to get vaccinated? No?” “Lance, have you been vaccinated? Great, we have a roster spot for you.”
  14. I’m surprised nobody beat me to it but I have to ask: Was Dunkirk Don at this high-level meeting?
  15. I miss Andy. He was a riot! ”Why is it that we park in a driveway and drive on a parkway? Isn’t that backwards?”
  16. Yep. The whining about Bills prime time games ending so late is also getting old.
  17. But...but...he had the great Tony Nathan at the start of his career!
  18. A Stanford WR who played with John Elway worked as an intern at my company back then. He said by the end of the season his fingers were so messed up, he was trying to catch passes with his palms.
  19. I thought players weren’t doing offseason workouts?
