  1. Since the OP was “favorite QBs”, I’m on the fence on Ferguson. He may be #3 when it comes to stats, but All those interceptions and then hanging his head walking off the field makes it hard for me to call him a favorite. I think I’m Allen over Kelly at this point because of the better attitude and relationship with teammates., plus his overall abilities.
  2. He’s a clown. Mispronounces a lot of names when he does the rapid fire halftime highlights and then laughs about it.
  3. His tossing of the tablet was priceless and reminiscent of Belichick’s tossing of the phone last season.
  4. And a few years ago people were complaining that the Bills had an offense from the 70s and when were they going to join the 21st century and develop a passing game like the rest of the league
  5. I found it interesting when the broadcast team called Josh ‘a more mobile Rothlisberger’ when the guy he’s more like, Cam Newton, was playing in the same game.
  6. On one of his holding calls, he towered over the guy he was trying to block. He just enveloped him. It was like any average size adult playing against a 5 year old. Impossible to block him at chest level. I guess he should’ve just left him alone.
  7. The NBA and NBAPA agreed to the same thing. Some NBA players even suggested they stop testing. I think odds are likely we see a shutdown again in sports. I read an article by Fauci where he said Omicron may be less severe but a lot more contagious so you have just as likely, if not more, chance of people getting it and it becoming severe.
  8. Yeah, I saw a recent ranking of NFL head coaches that had McDermott as #5. That can be debated but the bottom line is that the opinion of those writers count more than that of some on here.
  9. You know, there are several posters who have been calling for McDermott to be canned and I have to laugh. What short memories! This team had a 17 year playoff drought and he’s taken them to the playoffs 3 times in 4 years, and most likely a 4th in 5 years. However, if one took a look at his full resume, losing to that crappy Jags team for one of their two wins should be a big black mark, especially when your team was considered a Super Bowl contender.
  10. That brings to mind the infamous Hank Bullough. That was back before NFL Season Ticket so I didn’t get to see many games but there were so many games with him as coach where they had good halftime leads, like 17-3 and the opponent would obviously make adjustments and win 20-17. My thoughts were exactly that he must’ve thought they were doing good so no adjustments necessary.
  11. How about James Conner having a Pro Bowl type season with Arizona? He was a free agent available to everyone and signed for just $1.75M.
  12. Yeah, I want a MLB in the mold of Mike Singletary. Hyper, very aggressive, smells out plays before the O-linemen even get to him, like those plays Milano made in the 4th Qtr vs New England.
  13. I’ve occasionally had this thought: If given the choice right now, who would you rather have, Diggs or Justin Jefferson? I would choose Jefferson.
  14. There have been plays where he catches the ball and starts to go down as if he’s expecting a hit and no defender is there yet. Last season he was so good after the catch. Even the broadcast team commented about him ducking on one play
  15. Almost every TV in game analysis of the Bills O-Line brings up communication. While many of you have continuously roasted the guards, and with good reason, I keep saying Morse is also a weak link. The center, with help from the QB, is supposed to call out the blocking assignments at the line. If they’re continuing to have communication issues, Morse is a big part of the problem. Also, maybe the O-Line collectively is just dumb. Teams have been running these stunts all season, opponents see it on film and these guys still keep screwing it up. Darryl Williams seems to be a key culprit as several times I’ve seen him by himself looking for someone to block while 2 defenders have steamrolled one of his line mates and are in Josh’s grill. Furthermore, if the O-Line coaches aren’t getting thru to these guys, they’re another problem and maybe the players need a new voice. With basically the same personnel as last season, I don’t understand how these guys regressed this much. I’ve said before, there were numerous times last season when Josh had an unbelievable amount of time in the pocket, for which I played the plays back and he had 7 to 9 seconds. This season we frequently see Josh take his drop and there’s already somebody there he has to evade.
  16. I was looking at mock drafts on walter football and they had the Bills taking a LB (Harris- Alabama) with their 2nd round pick and the accompanying verbage said “Edmunds may be on his way out this offseason “
  17. It cracks me up when he’s barking trying to get defenders to jump and they don’t. Then he looks around like he doesn’t know what to do and they call a timeout. I don’t know what it was about EJ Manuel but he was good at it.
  18. You mean that defense that had 10 guys crowding the line of scrimmage and only Hyde back when Harris blew past the line?
  19. Anybody else watch the NBC TV show Chicago PD? There’s an actor playing a Fed who could be McDermott’s twin.
  20. Yeah, he traded up to get guys like Ford. He also thought Singletary was so great because of film he saw on him. I believe Dawkins can still be an above average LT. Dealing with COVID is difficult for many. He may still not be close to 100%. It would be interesting to find out how they really ranked the QBs in 2017. Did they really get who they wanted at the time? They may have actually lucked into Josh developing into arguably the best of those 5 first-rounders. Believe it or not, they may also need to again look for WRs, Beasley will be 33 in April, with 1 year left on his contract. Might he be a cap casualty? Sanders is on a 1 year deal and has been disappointing. That leaves Diggs and Davis plus McKenzie, who’s in the doghouse and not really a starting WR.
  21. Of course. Why not? We’ve only seen him in the meaningless last game of last season and the preseason but he runs hard and was productive. Sometimes it seems, though, that Derrick Henry might not get many yards behind this O-line.
  22. Glad you brought up the 2nd half choice. So, after winning the coin toss, the Bills deferred the choice and New England took the ball. The Bills then had the field choice and took the wind for the first Qtr. Unfortunately, they only took advantage of it to score after the fluke punt play with the ball hitting the returners face mask. Then, for the 2nd half, the Bills took the ball, so New England got choice of the field and took the wind for the 4th Qtr. Again, the Bills were unable to take great advantage of the wind, scoring only a FG, while the Pats ate up a chunk of the clock with their running game. If it were me, I’d have set it up to get the wind in the 4th Qtr, in case you were behind and needed to pass. I guess another factor was that the weather forecast called for possible snow squalls late so the Bills may have decided it was better to try and have scoring opportunities earlier in the 2nd half. In hindsight, the snow squalls never materialized and the Bills were left trying to score in the 4th Qtr having to throw and kick into the wind and they were unable to.
  23. Here’s a positive: that may have been the best game Harrison Phillips has played.
  24. So, you’re saying if he made the one he missed, he would’ve made one at the end into the wind?
