Anybody else think about the Titans game when the Bills were kicking off after their last score? I was glad they kicked it out of the end zone. So, they give up 45 yards on 4 plays in 10 seconds?

Yes, they lack speed on defense. My fellow old timers should remember the Redskins Darrell Green. He ran like a 4.2 40. Even if he was on the other side of the field, he’d run down ball carriers and prevent TDs. Sure, Tyreke Hill is unique but we had several big plays against this defense where other ball carriers outran our defenders to the end zone. I love our safeties but they aren’t fast enough (Hyde’s INT last week an exception).

Hyde looks very confident in fielding punts. Why do you think he usually ends up grabbing onside kicks? It’s the hands!

In last week’s playoff game, his own player couldn’t see a pass being thriwn to him because the sun was in his eyes. I’m sure Jerry influenced the stadium design also. Good job, Jerry!

Did we think Allen was going to be this good after his first 2 years? I know I didn’t. I’m convinced that the main reason Allen became the player he is, is due to his work ethic. He credits Jordan Palmer with being a big help but supposedly Darnold is there with him in the off-season and we haven’t seen the same growth with Darnold. I’m not saying Daboll and Dorsey haven’t helped but it seems to come down to Josh taking in all the input he gets, applying it and making himself a better player. Word has been that Carson Wentz tends to not apply suggestions to his game, and even when he does, he eventually regresses back to bad habits. So, at the same time that Josh has made himself a great player, other young QBs like Goff, Trubisky, Wentz, Darnold , Jones , Mayfield have either not improved much or have regressed.

During the season, there is always talk about coaches sleeping in their offices. It is not a 9 to 5 job. You would think they’d spend even more time preparing for a playoff game in Kansas City. Preparing for and taking part in an interview DOES take away valuable time.

Jones had an 80 yard run last season. He didn’t score as he got tripped by a yard line.

You must not have seen the Bill & Bill documentary (Belechick and Parcells) nor the Top 100 players shows. He was a different person. That convinced me, like players like Shaq, that he dumbed down his personality when dealing with the media. Don’t say much and do it in a boring monotone way that will hopefully discourage other questions.

Think of this people: after Ruggs’ accident and dismissal, Zay Jones was a starting WR for that team.

The only time they went out and got an elite WR was for Randy Moss, who looked done with the Raiders and the Pats got him cheap because of it. I think BillyB has followed Bill Parcells view that WRs aren’t worth spending big on because they only make a few plays a game. He prefers grabbing from the discount bin to get the likes of Bourne, Myers and Algholor. They did spend a 1st round pick on N’Keal Harry but he’s been pretty much a bust so far.

That’s exactly what I thought. He was scanning the field for 9 seconds and was at the sideline and looked like he was just throwing it out of the end zone but Knox just made a great catch. The other play that fooled me was the Hyde interception. From the live camera angle you saw the ball going over the WRs shoulder and he seemed to put his hands together like he caught it. Then they said it was an interception and I’m thinking “What?!”

You can’t do much better than first 7 drives resulting in 7 TDs. Daboll, Josh & the rest had it all going. Both Daboll & Frazier just started their interviews.

Will there still be a bunch of inebriated biys with their shirts off?

In the many times the Bills have gone thru the hiring process, it has been mentioned that some candidates prepared binders for in-person interviews. If they are taking these interviews seriously, I would think they may want to prepare that way for these Zoom interviews so they could easily reference their notes. So, as others have said, time and focus would be taken away from their current jobs and tasks at hand. It sucks but it is the current system.
