  1. Just finished watching it again.
  2. So, instead of taking Hutchinson, they trade the pick?
  3. And All-American Xavier Hutchinson still available?
  4. Xavier Hutchinson was AP 1st team All-American.
  5. There’s a safety from Pittsburgh, Brandon Hill, still available. I guess he’ll either be the 6th round pick or a post draft UDFA.
  6. Speaking of Ryan Leaf, he was a guest in-studio analyst on GMFB this morning, as Peter Schrager was at the draft. He had some good insights on Levis being at the draft and not picked and the pressures of being a first round QB. He even had some funny self-depreciating lines, like the busts of the 2nd pick.
  7. He’s still available and may be still there for the Bills next pick. Remember, it’s the Arizona 5th, which is the 2nd pick.
  8. That is what they did in the 2018 draft. Traded up to get Josh, then traded back into the first for Edmunds.
  9. The Bills have made many “offensive “ picks over the years.
  10. Given the defensive slant of our head coach and the fact they went offense in round one, I’d put my money on defense in the 2nd. We need another playmaker on defense besides Milano, Johnson and Miller, whenever he returns. We need that DT that creates havoc. The rest of the current group of d-linemen are kind of meh. If you look at the WR group, since Kincaid was added as an offensive weapon, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were content with the free agent additions of Harty and Sherfield . Sherfield was Miami’s 3rd WR so he could assume that role with the Bills. Shakir was drafted last year and Harty is a Smurf like most of the WRs in this draft. Same with the O-Line. I haven’t hear McD or Beane say they need to replace Brown. They may be happy with him. They also added McGovern ( ) and Edwards as guards who have started elsewhere. Along with Bates and Boettger, they could be set there. To me, they do need to address safety with Hyde and Poyer getting up there in years. Hamlin plans to be back but we’ll see. I don’t know much about Rapp.
  11. I’ve said many times “Don’t feed the trolls!” but guys keep doing it. 🤪
  12. He does that in every draft. Pags needs to hire an assistant to Beane to smack him in the head when he talks about making these trades. I’d love to play in fantasy leagues with Beane.
  13. Patriots select Lukas Van Ness. It’s too obvious. Van Noy > Van Ness. Hard working white dude.
  14. I’m not going to go too far out on the limb and say Jalen Carter. Despite him moving up on mocks, I think he’ll slide because of the character issues.
  15. To me, with the need for QBs throughout the league, some team is likely to move up and take Henson Hooker earlier than expected.
  16. It seems many new threads and posts reflect that there is too much time between the end of the season and the draft. The NBA and NHL have their drafts about a week after their playoffs end. The NFL Combine was like in late February/early March. Do teams really need almost 2 months to figure it out? Of course, we also have the daffy MLB, who conducts their draft in the middle of their season..
  17. Calling offensive plays is a lot more involved. I don’t understand why people keep criticizing McD for accountability. He’s always saying, including “13 Seconds”, that he’s the head coach and it’s on him.
  18. But they also sent back a 2024 5th which pretty much negates the 6th. Swap of 2023 1sts is only 2 slots.
  19. A Scott Chandler type! If we use Beane’s past drafts as a guide, if he takes a BPA TE in the 1st, he may take another BPA TE in the 2nd.
  20. No, he is always afraid that a player he likes is going to be taken so he trades up to get him, although we don’t know if the trade was necessary.
  21. Based on some referee calls/reviews, they seem to already have that problem.
  22. And how about the DraftKings and FanDuel ads at the stadiums and during the broadcast of games?
  23. Is this the poster formerly known as Dunkirk Don?
  24. Don’t forget the NFL stuck their nose in and said stadium lease has to be reasonable to get out of.
  25. It’ll be hilarious if Green Bay trades Rodgers to the Jets for that first round pick that they want, and then use it to draft a wide receiver.
