  1. The biggest negative on his resume is ‘13 seconds’. You take timeouts before those 2 last plays and then give up chunks of yardage. That was unforgivable.
  2. In my opinion, it makes little sense to implement offensive and defensive schemes that are difficult for your players to pick up. You’re supposed to be making it difficult for the opponents. If you can’t bring in a rookie or a vet from another team, and get him ready to play in a reasonable amount of time, something is wrong with your approach. This is similar to the Golden State Warriors. They have complicated offensive and defensive schemes. After winning the title last season, due to salary cap issues, they let veteran players leave in free agency and expected recent draftees to fill the void. It has failed miserably as they hover around a .500 record.
  3. When Stafford led the Rams to a title, he was a savior. Now he’s trash? Remember, he had a shoulder injury to start the year, lost his best O-lineman to retirement and then lost his best receiver early in the year. I recently read an article about all the NFL teams’ QB situations, and they also said they needed a new QB. I could be wrong but I don’t think he’s done.
  4. Having witnessed it, it’s OJ’s 2003 yard season.
  5. Let’s see. The Bills were 4th in points in 2022, 3rd in 2021 and 2nd in 2020. OMG, it’s a decreasing trend! Looks like a powerhouse offense to me.
  6. Yeah, sometimes I go somewhere I’ve never been but it feels like I’d been there before.
  7. Yeah, why would he even tell anyone that he was going to sit in the dark for 4 days to contemplate, as weird as it is, except for attention. Living in Northern California, I’ve been a fan of Rodgers since Cal but he really has become very strange.
  8. The first hockey games used frozen cow pies as pucks.
  9. Yep, their 2022 schedule was rated one of the toughest.
  10. Nathan Peterman?
  11. Yes, the picks aren’t performing but there’s more to it than that. How good is this coaching staff at teaching/development? How good are they at adapting schemes to the players rather than trying to do the opposite? Remember when they had Epenesa gain weight, which didn’t work out.
  12. Most of the regular season games I watched this season were boring. The Bills started out the season great and exciting but even they became just above mediocre and not as much fun.
  13. Nothing will compare to the NCAA College Football hiring an ad agency to come up with a name for the playoffs and it was ‘College Football Playoff’. Hope they didn’t pay too much for that
  14. Here’s the thing though. States that don’t have state income tax, get their money from real estate tax. Unless a player plans to rent, he’s likely going to buy a mansion so will pay taxes anyways.
  15. Jim Overdorf is like the Chris Kelsay of the front office. Change in ownership, changes in front office, yet he’s still there. He must know where the bodies are buried.
  16. Why can’t they just smoke the grass indoors?
  17. Why not in Dunkirk?
  18. C’mon, he also has Pro Bowl TE Dawson Knox, who scored a TD in the flag football game.
  19. Yeah, it was worse as 20 years, not the 17 the OP said.
  20. 0-0 to start.
  21. That’s very interesting. I moved to California from Buffalo in 1980 when there was a lot of earthquake activity. Some time later I saw that UB was awarded a grant for earthquake research over Cal-Berkley, which made no sense. I did some research and found that there was a lot of earthquake activity in Western New York, but mostly ones and twos. My sister, who still lives in Buffalo, frequently has said to me she’d rather deal with the snow than earthquakes. I guess i get the last laugh for now.
  22. Yeah, the Rams may have had a lousy season but they have the Super Bowl trophy from last season to cherish forever.
  23. meh. I wouldn’t have wanted his attitude on the A’s.
  24. I’ve never understood why they anointed him as starter. All they saw him was in training camp, preseason and a few snaps during the regular season. It didn’t make sense to put their Super Bowl aspirations on him with that limited experience. His injury may have been the best thing for them. Sure they ended up having to start Purdy, but at least he had 4 years in college. So, their QB stable will have 2 guys coming off major injuries. Jimmy G may still be around since their may not be much free agency interest in him with his injury.
