  1. Believe it or not, Steph Curry says he checks social media at halftime of his Warriors games. Any negative comments give him motivation coming out for the 2nd half and is partially responsible for him and his team frequently having monster 3rd Qtrs. I thought he was kidding the first time I heard about it as you wouldn’t expect a future Hall of Famer would need such motivation but have seen it mentioned several times over the years.
  2. To me, most of the fun, and frustration, in fantasy football is making your own lineup decisions and enjoying the results. I don’t understand people getting all over social media asking for advice.
  3. Yeah, he seems to be having too much fun.
  4. And on the 4th and 20, all Nate Clements had to do was knock it down but he went for the INT, it went thru his hands and the receiver made a great catch along the sideline. Sound familiar?
  5. Belated happy birthday! Mine was on the 11th.
  6. Bwahahaha! Those Browns just can’t get any luck with QBs no matter how hard they try.
  7. Nobody puts the wagons in a half circle like the Buffalo Bills?!
  8. It seems like there have been several games vs Denver won by a last second FG by their kicker. Jim Turner, Rich Karlis… and now Lutz.
  9. They might have an intern or assistant looking at social media.
  10. Will he then change his name to Frowny?
  11. I’ve seen it referenced elsewhere, but can we now officially name this 2023 team as “The Bumbling Bills” ?
  12. And the only defender not on the line of scrimmage was Bernard doing jumping jacks. Why wasn’t he hurdling over the O-line to block the kick?
  13. Exactly. After yesterday’s game, I would’ve more expected Sean or the special teams coach get fired. What did Dorsey do wrong yesterday? Scored the last TD too quickly? With Josh again in turnover mode, he called runs for every play of a touchdown drive!
  14. I give credit to the ref who called it a touchdown. Many times there’s a questionable play, the refs look at each other and nobody makes a call. Or one of them blows their whistle when they shouldn’t have. They allowed the play to finish to completion. If it was later ruled a fumble, the Bills would’ve had the TD. If it wasn’t called a TD, but ruled a fumble and they gave the Bills possession, they would mark it at th3 point of the fumble.
  15. Glad you agree!
  16. So how many people jumped up after the first FG went wide and yelled “He missed it ! He missed it!”
  17. Exactly! You can’t be on a drive where you need a TD and do anything but try to score. There’s too many things that can go wrong.
  18. Yeah, how many postgames have we seen with the “We have to do better” and “We’ll figure it out” when nothing much has changed.
  19. Just a “decent back” doesn’t score 20 TDs.
  20. Tomorrow I want to see Lenny active and splitting Carrie’s with Cook. Will I see it? Probably not.
  21. God, flashbacks to that 2013 season, Marrone’s first. Lewis, EJ Manuel, Tuel & Tavaris Jackson. The next preseason, Marrone screamed at Whaley to get him a QB, which gave us The Year of Orton.
  22. The best way, I hate to say, is the Belichick Way. Come up with game plans for each opponent, trying to take advantage of their weaknesses and take away their strengths. I’m
  23. I sort of agree with Sean. Having an up tempo no-huddle offense might score quicker but it usually leaves the defense on the field longer. We would see that in the Kelly years where the defense would be on the field for like 35-40 minutes. Sure that team won a lot of games but how many Super Bowls did they win again? Yes, if this team’s offense is better at a faster pace, they could score more points. I’m just saying it can backfire if the defense gets tired.
