I saw an article that suggested signing DJ Chark, who I think would fill the proven veteran.

This is hilarious. Bills castoff Singletary replaces S. Barkley. Bills castoff Moss replaces Joe Mixon. Jacksonville will likely not bring back Ridley so he’s replaced by Gabe. Hahahaha!

Giants sign Devon Singletary to 3 year, $16.5M deal

Actually the Joisey Bills. -
Diggs - will he resurface as the Bills go to WR in 2024?
BobbyC81 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe his usage and the coverage on him in the 2nd half led to frustration and bad attitude. Note how often he was taking himself out. With more emphasis on the running game, he’s not a willing blocker. Remember that Gabe got a game ball with no receptions because of his blocking. Having witnessed Lou Saban’s commitment to running OJ Simpson, a lot of the success was due to Bob Chandler and JD Hill willing to provide downfield blocking. I don’t see that commitment by Diggs. -
Another way to look at this is that Kincaid is a TE in name only. Morris is somewhat the #2. From the team’s standpoint, Kincaid is the slot receiver. Gabe leaves and Shakir is a starting outside WR. That being said, I didn’t like how Kincaid was being us3d at the start of the season. Many of his receptions were at the sideline, short of the first down marker. I don’t think you want to do that with a large guy like Kincaid. You should run those patterns with a quick, elusive guy that has a better chance of maneuvering for the 1st down. As most on this board, I would like the team to get a WR in the first round. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t. It could be because of the WRs available vs what’s available at other positions of need. It could also be that they don’t see the WR position being as much of a need as some of us do. If they are going to emphasize the running game, they won’t likely pass as much, thus reducing the need for a top WR in this draft.

I favour your point.

I don’t know. Some of you guys frequent sites like All22 that can provide more details but I just remember Morse frequently getting pushed by a rushing DT right into Josh. It was time to put a younger hopefully better guy in there.

How does today compare to Black Thursday Feb 10, 2000?

Last I saw of him, at a HOF induction ceremony, he looked like he could still play. -
Needed to keep him with Morse let go and Connor McGovern moving to C.

Bill Walsh used to say “It’s better to let go of a player one year too early than one year too late.”

Perhaps Beane and McD will will dig up a couple of diamonds in the rough as replacements, as they did in 2017. It has been said that safety is one of the most important positions in this defense.

Is trading Milano something Bills should consider?

Who Would You Trade Up For, And How Far Would You Go Up To Get Them?

Rome Odunze. Move into top 10. A guy who not only participates in all of the combine activities, while most of his colleagues opt out, then redoes a drill multiple times by himself because he knows he can do better, needs to be on the Buffalo Bills. -
Chiefs-Bills trade that landed Kansas City Patrick Mahomes
BobbyC81 replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
Most of the comments in this thread are hindsight BS. In the 2018 draft, many here, including me, thought they picked the wrong Josh QB. Look how that turned out. The draft is also hit and miss. For every Josh Rosen, there’s a Matt Milano. -
What Rock Song Would You Pick That Reflects The 2023 Bills?
BobbyC81 replied to RevWarRifleman's topic in The Stadium Wall
The same song that has fit for the 54 seasons I’ve followed this team: Dream On -
Does this team actually have the guts to move on from Tre White?
BobbyC81 replied to Jim's topic in The Stadium Wall
The salary cap also has to be taken into account. T. White’s salary for 2024 is $8.3M. If he was cut, his dead cap would be $10.3M. Not that much of a difference but when you’re starting at $50M+ over the cap, every little bit matters. Lower that salary to $3 or $4M and he may be worth keeping around. -
Its Pretty Obvious why the Chiefs win every year

Just like Belechick and Brady did. 😉 -

Yeah, I love Josh as our QB but, in hindsight, they could’ve just taken Mahomes in the 2017 draft. They used the 2017 KC 3rd Rnd pick from that trade to move up and snag the incomparable Zay Jones. They then used the KC 2018 first round pick from that trade to maneuver to move up for Josh. -
Bills to add Ronald Curry as quarterbacks coach (updated)
BobbyC81 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nothing else has gotten them to a Super Bowl. Why not add a “Curry” to a “Brady”?! -
Yep, in 2015 they could’ve stayed where they were and drafted Mike Evans, who’s still putting up 1000 yard seasons vs Watkins, no longer playing.
