Why does Stevie Wonder care about how he looks if he can’t see it?

Fitzpatrick's veiled criticism of Dorsey?
BobbyC81 replied to The Helmet of's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have been patient with the offense and the play calls but I’ve finally had it with Dorsey. 4th down near the goal line and there’s Josh in shotgun with an empty backfield. The following pass was actually close to being a pick six. Ugh! I don’t understand why you don’t have a RB in the backfield to at least show the threat of a run. In that small space of the end zone, how many receivers can you really have out in that situation?- 80 replies

After nine games, where do you think the Bills end up this season?
BobbyC81 replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Remember that in the 2021 season, the Bills were struggling at 7-6, with the AFC East all bunched up. The Bills won their last 4 games to finish 11-6 and win the division. Despite any McD shortcomings, his teams have finished the season strong. The 2017 season look3d hopeless after the Peterman debacle in LA and blowout losses to New Orleans and Baltimore. ”Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills!” -

Where’s John Brown? -
Beane reportedly looking for LB help (possible rumor)

I think it’s better to get proven NFL talent vs unproven drafted rookies anyways. -
I’m surprised there were so many posts before anyone mentioned it. The American education system 😩

He needs those picks so he can trade up in the draft for a player that he’s overrated
-
Yeah, whatever got Diggs pissed off earlier, I’m surprised we haven’t heard more from him the way the last 3 weeks have gone. Of course, he’s still getting his targets.

Devils advocate...what is Josh is the problem?
BobbyC81 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh needs to be like Kirk Cousins tonight, spreading it around the field, even though Addison had a bulk of the receptions. We don’t know what Josh is seeing but I again noticed on some replays that there were one or two guys open short that he ignores. -
Are some of you guys in an alternate universe? After every loss, McD says “It’s on me. It starts with me.” The problem is we haven’t seen anything different the last couple weeks.

He’s said that numerous times.

Yeah, before this game, most of the looks Kincaid was getting, he’d catch the ball about 2 or 3 yards short of a first down, then try to work his way for the needed yards but fail which made no sense. I didn’t understand why, with most looks on 3rd down, why he wasn’t going past the first down marker.

No, they are on the same level, both reporting directly to Pegula.

RELAX! This may be a good thing for the Bills.

Yeah, many “experts “ also were surprisingly saying the Bills title contention window was closing after a 13-3 season. Maybe they knew what they were talking about. -
A trade is the only way to save the season

Beane and his staff will have a really big job with salary cap manipulation again for 2024. This years cap was $227M+ with the Bills total at $226+. The cap went up about $19M this year. If it went up the same in 2024, that would put it at about $246M. According to SPORTAC, the Bills have an estimated team salary of $275M+ for 43 players. That puts them about $29M over. -

I thought the “experts” predicting like 9-8 records for the Bills was ludicrous but right now it’s a strong possibility. They keep playing like this and I don’t see them winning the next 2 games. Then, they “should” be able to beat Denver and the Jets at home. The gauntlet of road games at Philly and KC followed by Dallas at home now seems hopeless. -
I’ve been saying it for a couple years. They approached the weak inside protection by replacing the guards but I’ve seen that Morse was just as much of the problem. He has often been bullrushed back into Josh but now pash rushers are breaking free. Sure, many teams have pass protection issues due to the lack of quality O-linemen but good teams figure out how to address it. Put Gilliam back there as an extra blocker. What good is it to have 5 receivers out on patterns if Josh doesn’t have the time to find them?

Never thought I’d say this. Sean McDermott is a stupid coach.
BobbyC81 replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, I’ve been behind McD because of the success of the winning seasons, but I’m finally leaning the other way. Josh has shown his loyalty to Dorsey by saying it comes down to execution and he has to be better but it’s not happening. With 2 straight poor games vs teams they should’ve dominated, something is very wrong. They got beat and the defense was picked apart by Mac Jones! Sure, they lost some very good players to injuries, but good coaches develop schemes and game plans to try and hide their weaknesses. The broadcaster mentioned it, so I’m curious why Von Miller wasn’t on the field for that last play. Is he still not 100%? They called a timeout before that last play and still gave up the TD. -
Your very true feelings for tomorrow outcome
BobbyC81 replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m somewhat concerned about this game. After the lasr 2 games, and Belechick’s reputation with defensive game plans, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bills offense struggles again. Also, sh*# seems to happen in Foxboro. -
Best non-Bills sports weeknight of the year?

No, you don’t. I assume it would be like everything else on ESPN+. If you don’t stream it live, it’s available later to watch.
