And 6 are CBs with 5 safeties. Those are Jauron type DB numbers.

Steve Johnson may have justified his starting position in practices but he didn't do much of anything in these games.

How can you call 6-10 a "great season"?? I wouldn't even call it a good season. Another way of putting it would be " 6-10 would not be a horrible season".

I agree with you. A lot of the rushing yards given up last year were on big plays (Ex: Thomas Jones) or when the Defense was on the field for most of the game (Saints' Pierre Thomas in 4th qtr). During this preseason, the starting defense has been giving up a lot of 15 to 20 yard runs. They seem worse vs the run.

I agree with you. Take the ball. If you're playing on the road and you can go down and score on the 1st drive, you take the crowd out of it some. Conversely, if you're at home you can really have the advantage by scoring 1st as you're crowd is in to it and the opponent is down before having had the ball.

Do you keep just Spiller & Bell or Chad Simpson also?? At least at WR, you have Evans, S.Johnson, Parrish, Chad Jackson & several others healthy. I think Hardy gets waived injured or put on IR. Wang is injured. Do you keep him on the active roster?? Now Nelson suspended. Do you keep only 2 other TEs for 4 weeks?? One solution is that whoever loses out on #2 QB (Fitz??) gets waived along with Brown, who goes to practice squad, and you go with 2 QBs until some of the injured starters return. Without the injuries, a 53 man roster could be like: QBs- 3 RBs- 5 WRs- 6 TEs- 3 OL- 10 Offense Subtotal of 27 Def Line- 6 LBs- 8 DBs- 8 (4 CBs, 4 S) Defense Subtotal of 22 Roster Subtotal of 49 K- 1 Punter- 1 LS- 1 Total of 52 so 1 more somewhere. Maybe D-Line or LB.
