Another indicator of the Bills lack of talent: NFL Network presented their top 100 players going into the 2011 season and there were no Buffalo Bills. Seeing who made up 96 thru 100 (Nick Collins, Shaun Phillips, D. McFadden, Chad Clifton & McNabb), if the list was continued past 100 I don't know when a Bill would be on it. Who would be considered the best Buffalo Bill right now? Stevie Johnson? Fred Jackson? Kyle Williams?

Why did the Bills change to the prior ugly unis in the 1st place? Why did the Sabres change from blue & gold to red & black? Why are there throwback unis?? It's called selling merchandise. Anything to make a buck.

Exactly! That's why I didn't like the signing of Fitz at the time, with them saying they weren't looking for someone to compete with Edwards because they didn't want him looking over his shoulder. That was mediocrity thinking there.

When compared to a Jamarcus Russell who talked about retirement when he reported to the Raiders following signing his contract, this is a positive. Jamarcus took the money and felt he had nothing to prove. Dareus has a chip on his shoulder. Remember that Thurman Thomas took falling into the 2nd round as motivation for a Hall-of-Fame career.

I hope I'm wrong but I fear the 2nd year of Fitz could resemble the reduction in effectiveness for the 2nd year of Bledsoe, and the last chances for Losman and Edwards. Expectations that the player can't meet.

He'll even know everything about the 7th rounders and those players not drafted. He's only a couple years younger than me but I can't remember that much info anymore without notes. The guy's amazing in what he retains on all of these players.

Huh?!! Worst run defense in the league and even Nix says they need to pick up 2 linemen and 2 ILBs and they use their 2nd & 4th rounders on Jauron DBs? How often does a 6th round LB amount to anything? And if they again have one of the worst run defenses and win only a handful of games, this could be their last draft.

Martez Wilson. Bowers is tough to pass on but the Bills have too many needs to take the risk. Opponents may have gotten a lot of rushing yardage around the edge but there was also a lot of yardage given up thru the middle. Even if Poz returns, him being their best ILB is lacking. I wish they could take Kaepernick but LB is too much of a need position.

Hopefully we hear Goodell say: "With the 1st pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers select qusrterback..." so then we know we can get either Dareus or Miller.
