  1. But Tuel is still out there as a fallback plan.
  2. I wouldn't say Cassel is bad. Average? Mediocre? Yes. I think they can win with him.
  3. Steve Bartkowski, Craig Morton, Joe Kapp
  4. I don't understand why they don't game plan. Wouldn't it be a good evaluating factor in how each QB carries out the game plan?
  5. I was just watching the NFL Network and their coverage prior to the HOF induction ceremonies and they had him on their set. I was glad to see how good he looks. While he was there, they did a split screen showing him there last year for Reed's induction and you can see a significant difference. He's gained weight back and has good color in his face. Good to see it!
  6. I definitely do not like how the Baseball HOF voters will not vote for a guy because "he doesn't deserve to be a 1st ballot hall-of-famer". I think that's BS. If a guy deserves to be in the HOF, he should get their vote. Sometimes there are too many outstanding1st time eligibile candidates so I can understand that they can't all go in at once but I don't like players having to wait many years to get in. The NFL voters do the same. Why did Andre Reed and Tim Brown have to wait so long? It made no sense.
  7. Their HOF busts have just their head so no affiliation shown. I've never been to the HOF so maybe someone who has can enlighten us with how their displays are set up. If it's only this banner that mistakenly shows Seau as a Patriot then it's not a gig deal.
  8. I also think we're starting to see a slight shift back to the running game. The Bills aren't the only ones stating they're going to pound the ball (Philly, Denver , etc,) There's a shortage of solid QBs and Peyton, Brees & Brady will all be retired in a few years.
  9. Carrying only 5 Williams'?
  10. I agree. I've always been pretty good at games of accuracy (shooting a basketball, bowling, pitching) and it's just 2nd nature to me. Concentration and focus help but I generally don't even think about it. It has to be in EJ's head. I remember a game last year where he was rolling out and the receiver was parallel to him only a few yards down the field and he held the ball for a couple seconds like he was about to throw a dart and threw it into the ground at the receiver's feet.
  11. No, let's go for a record number of pages!
  12. I actually won a Fantasy League with Cassel as my QB when he replaced Brady, who I had used my 1st round pick on. LOL!
  13. Well, I look at it this way: After getting benched last season, EJ says when he gets another chance he's just going to air it out EJ works with a well-known QB guru in the off-season Whaley states that new head coach must be willing to give EJ a chance to start Rex Ryan announces a 3 QB competition One week into training camp, the reports from Rex Ryan and others are that EJ is still slow to release the ball and being indecisive so he is not "letting it rip" I hope that EJ develops into a viable starter sometime soon but right now it looks like "he is who he is"
  14. If none of them look good enough, I wonder what the chances are that Orton could be talked out of retirement at the end of training camp?
  15. The garbage cans aren't moving and nobody is covering them.
  16. It was on ESPN on TV. He apparently does 1 QB each day. I didn't catch the last QB he did but saw the list.
  17. At 1st I thought he was too high but the only QB ranked below him I might not agree with is Derek Carr. At this point he also had Winston & Mariota at 31 & 32. I would expect by the end of the season they'll have moved up to the middle of the pack.
  18. That it's currently not working?
  19. I turned on NFL Network and just caught the end of a ticker item that said Kyle Williams had a torn achilles and was out for the season. The magic of the DVR allowed me to rewind where I saw that the team was Denver. Panic attack averted.
  20. Damn, this has been a sad couple of weeks. First Van, then Bob Kauffman, now Curtis Brown. All parts of my youth as a Buffalo sports fan.
  21. Awesome recap, Astro. Almost felt like I was there.
  22. The Buffalo Braves 1st NBA All Star.
  23. Analytics have their place when used properly. For example, the Bills previous coaching staff should've used analytics to understand that running CJ Spiller up the middle hardly ever worked and usually ended up losing yardage when he tried to kick it outside. But they did not so they continued to run that play multiple times a game throughout the season.
