  1. Rolling your eyes is fragrant? Sounds like a magic trick.
  2. Yes, as evident that, during a time when the NFLPA has negotiated a lower amount of allowed practices and practices with pads, he saw fit to blow off training camp practices a couple of times to take the players on a "field trip". These aren't the 2014 Jags. They are a more competitive team. Shout out to Rex: remember what happened to the last AFC East coach whose team played poorly in London!
  3. I wish Pegula would call Rex out on boasting that they'd have the NFL's best defense
  4. Yeah, there was that one play the announcer mentioned he had all day to throw. They showed the replay and the Bills only rushed three. Kyle Williams was triple-teamed, Mario had a one-on-one matchup but ended up on the ground and I think Hughes was blocked way away from the pocket. Mario got up and was making his way towards Dalton but he threw it. That was pathetic. I hate when these coaches are so stubborn that they push their schemes on players that reduce their effectiveness. We've heard since the pre-season that the defense wasn't communicating and now 6 games into the regular season and they still haven't fixed it? What's the problem, not enough vocal leaders? And the dumb penalties continue. I'm surprised the number of individual penalties aren't publicized. Hughes must be one of the leaders.
  5. "Why so serious?" might be an appropriate caption for that baby picture. Hmm! I was going to guess Elway. I remember him catching a couple of passes. So, it was likely players back when the forward pass 1st started?
  6. The announcers have earphones on so they can hear the director/producer. How do you think they know what replay is being shown? They also have spotters telling them who carried the ball, what line the ball is at and other stats. Try talking about something when someone is talking in your ear. I know I couldn't do it at my age. My hard drive is too old with limited capacity. It's amazing they don't make more mistakes. When an announcer calls the wrong name for the ball carrier, chances are it's what he was told to say.
  7. I hate it, too! Goodell also had previously mentioned that the Super Bowl could be played in another country some day. That would be just wrong. Very wrong!
  8. Yeah, that photo of him in his last game with Oakland showed it best, where there's a big hole to his left to the end zone but he follows the FB into a scrum.
  9. And Rex is no longer the coach of the Jets and they had 14 penalties for 163 yards on Sunday.
  10. Yeah, I saw he had a workout with the Jets last Tuesday. Since Ivory was injured I guess they took a look but then Ivory improved and had a huge game yesterday (on my fantasy team's bench!).
  11. Don't forget our old friend, Fitz! We'll play him twice.
  12. And also late in the 4th on that 4th down. A short throw to the RB on the side you just came up short on the prior 2 plays? Going for it on 4th down and what was it, 3 or 4 yards, throw it in the end zone! I'd rather see the pass fly over the head of a receiver in the end zone than run that weak play that comes up short.
  13. One would think so but back to back losses of 43-18 and 47-7. The owner and GM so badly botched Harbaugh leaving and then promoting a defensive line coach over the defensive coordinator Fangio that I wouldn't be surprised by anything. Philbin- he's had 3+ years and the team continues to underachieve despite all of the player moves made.
  14. No, I see the Pats going 14-2 or 15-1. They are usually playing their best at the end of the season.
  15. Not super accurate? Have you been watching the games? He's at 74.4 completion % for the season.
  16. Living in Northern California, I watch Cal football when i can. Goff is good, but the talk by the broadcasters in their game vs Texas about him being possibly the 1st pick in the draft surprised me.
  17. No, we gave up a 5th and a 7th and got a 6th back with him.
  18. In the last 15 seasons, many times the Pats give their division rivals hope by not starting out great but they just about always finish strong. I remember a few years ago at the halfway point all 4 AFC East teams were 5-3. The Pats won their last 8 games to finish 13-3 while the Bills I think finished 7-9. This season the league should take notice. Following Deflategate, this could be like 2007 after Spygate where the Pats just roll over everyone.
