  1. Watching highlights of yesterday's games, Jeffrey seems frustrated with Hoyer at QB. They showed one play where he was wide open in the end zone but Hoyer threw underneath. Jeffrey lost it afterward, including a helmet smash.
  2. Yes it was but the Bills win made it tolerable.
  3. I wonder if they saw film and we're watching for the fake. I noticed on the Rams last FG, right in front of me, that both the Bills outside rushers stopped and then moved away to watch the flanks.
  4. I am. Flew down Thursday to visit with friends and going to game with Rams fan.
  5. He also continued to take too much time getting plays called in as he did in SF.
  6. Why would they need a workout? Just look at him and see if he's still carrying too much weight.
  7. I actually liked Mike Tirico as the MNF broadcaster but he joined the mass exodus from ESPN and went to CBS. Sean McDonough is boring to listen to. Also, I used to enjoy John Gruden as the color guy but his Schtick has gotten old. Al Michaels and Collinsworth do a much better job on Sunday night. Then there's the Thursday games. Over the last couple years, probably 9 games out of 10 are routs by the home team. Why doesn't the NFL get it that this was a bad idea? Answer: more TV money.
  8. Yeah, talk about a turnaround. They were absolutely horrible in that opening Monday Night game at S.F. They looked like one of the worst teams. C'mon, they just ended the Gillette Stadium losing streak. Now they can end the West Coast streak, where they haven't won since beating the Niners late in the 2004 season. I'm going to the game and have never seen them win live out West in about a dozen games I've attended.
  9. Rex said a player stepped on his foot during a walk through and that player was released. He didn't play since so it must've made it worse.
  10. You should tell your story to the PR department and/or write a letter to Kim Pegula. If not satisfied, take it to the media. If you did nothing wrong and were banned you shouldn't just accept it.
  11. Jack Youngblood played in the Pro Bowl with a broken leg. Ronnie Lott had half his finger cut off so he could play. Ah, the good old days.
  12. Why not bring back Greg Little? At least he was with the team all thru training camp to learn the offense. FYI Hunter had broken ankle and surgery to repair at end of last season.
  13. It was a bad draft for QBs so you don't invest on the best of the bunch and hope he's the savior. They should've kept Fitz and waited until the following year when they could've tried to trade up for Bortles instead of Sammy or picked Derek Carr.
  14. That's why I hated the trade. They had questionable quarterbacking back then. Then they hire a coach who wants to play ground-and-pound. Same with all the money thrown at Clay and they don't throw to him.
  15. I remember Rex saying somebody stepped on Sammy's foot during walk through last Friday and that player has been released. Based on the timing it must've been Chris Martin. An already sore foot stepped on by an O-lineman likely made it worse.
  16. Reading between the lines, do we get Spiro and Wilcotts again??!!
  17. It wasn't over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor!!
  18. Pizza isn't good food? Your choice of toppings could give you multiple food groups. You've got your bread, dairy and vegetables to begin with. Anchovies would give you fish. Hawaiian with pineapple gives you fruit.
  19. Looks like the Bills found a good impersonator for Edelman as a WR this week in Ed Eagan. Reading his bio, he's a 5-11 white wide receiver with quick feet who sounds a lot like Edelman. Should help in practice this week in preparation for Sunday's game.
  20. LOL! My dad never put money in the bank because he didn't want to pay taxes on the interest, back when you got any.
  21. Yes, I am not a betting man but it's tempting to now throw some money at the current odds of Pats going 16-0. Then Eli can knock them off in the Super Bowl again. Might also put some down on Pats winning in Foxboro but there probably wouldn't be much return.
  22. Roman was the tight ends coach at Stanford, where the TE was a big part of their offense. Same thing in SF where he was OC but Vernon Davis wasn't used much in Roman's last season there so there is a precedent.
  23. He had 2 that were short in the 4th Qtr: a 26 yarder early in the 4th and a 25 yarder late.
  24. What I'm noticing around the NFL appears to be possible side effects of limited offseason team activities, reduced practices with pads and teams not playing starters in preseason games. This affects the offenses more with the reduced reps. There are several teams who usually have potent offenses that aren't clicking yet, like Green Bay and Jacksonville. For the Packers, it seemed the preseason loss of Jordy Nelson affected them as he was their deep threat. He's returned but not quite 100% so that's a factor but Aaron Rodgers is not as sharp and accurate as usual. For the Jags, the prolific 2015 passing offense led by QB Blake Bortles and receivers Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns has not done much in the 1st 2 games. Now, for the Bills, they had the issue of Sammy Watkins still recovering from his 2015 injury plus the team's decision to not play Shady McCoy in the preseason games. Tyrod also didn't play a lot in the preseason so with all of these factors, it's not a surprise the offense is not clicking. Add to this the surprisingly poor play of the offensive line, the late and supposed poor play calling and it's really not fair to say that Tyrod has regressed after only 2 games.
