  1. One of the worst picks was OT Mike Williams with the 4th pick of the 2002 draft. That pick should end up as a long-time starter, which he was not. That didn't hurt that much though since Jason Peters, an undrafted free agent, eventually beat him out for the LT spot. Still you'd like better return from the 4th pick.
  2. They also needed to add another Brown with Zach likely leaving.
  3. The 2 aren't linked. Just for kicks I went WR and then defense and it took it.
  4. Best of the free agent WRs remaining: Michael Floyd Cordarelle Patterson (says he wants to stay in Minn.) Anquan Boldin (still makes plays) Kamar Aiken Brian Quick Andrew Hawkins Andre Holmes
  5. According to Bills Daily's updated depth chart, the Bills roster now has 55 players.
  6. It's great to see Seinfeld references 20 years after the show ended! Even during the holiday season someone said Happy Festivus...for the rest of us.
  7. I wonder if the 1QB <=53 that was a long term QB was Chad Pennington? Anyone remember if he made a Pro Bowl?
  8. Per NFL.com, the only free agent wide receivers left are: Marcus Easley Michael Floyd Stevie Johnson Cordarelle Patterson Kendall Wright
  9. My thoughts exactly. Everybody else is playing for 2nd. Used to be the same with the freakin' Lakers.
  10. Yeah, that could go down as one of the stupidest financial moves by a player. Sure, maybe it was time for a change of scenery for both parties but the Niners may have cut or traded him had he not opted out. Not hearing anything about teams being interested in him.
  11. I wouldn't give up one 1st rounder for Garropolo, especially not one of the Browns current picks. Remember the Bills once traded the 10th pick for one Rob Johnson, who had one good game for Jacks. in the last week of the season. How did that turn out?
  12. Mods are also keeping busy. I got my 1st warning since I joined in 2001.
  13. If the Bills could've signed Britt, I would've gone for that "trade".
  14. OK, so in this case it worked out better for Houston to trade him than cut him. Thanks for the explanation.
  15. I still have questions: I thought it was better to cut a player than trade him, as had been discussed concerning Tyrod. So, by trading Osweiler, doesn't Houston take the full cap hit for the remaining bonus money, which they could've deferred by cutting him as June 1st designation? Cleveland takes the salary cap hit for 2017 salary if they keep him, but if they cut him, doesn't that salary hit go away? What about any guaranteed salary amount? Does that go to Cleveland or stay with Houston?
  16. And Jeffery signs with Eagles! For only 1 year? Some weird moves today, like Houston giving Cleveland a 2nd round pick to take Osweiler off their hands and the Browns rumored to just cut him. Doesn't make sense for Houston. If they cut him with June 1st designation, they could've stretched bonus hits into next season. By trading him, they take full remaining hit now. Plus they give up a 2nd? Whaley should get on the phone with their GM and maybe they'll take a 2nd for a 1st.
  17. I read he is too much of a diva, although, what WRs aren't.
  18. Wow, I thought Seattle let him go because they didn't want to pay him what he wanted. How are the Bills able to afford him?
  19. For whatever it's worth, Mike Mayock's comparison for Reuben Foster is Luke Kuechley. Just sayin'.
  20. I thought Roman was the one with the reputation of liking to use multiple TEs?
  21. It's those refugees from BBMB!! We need to round 'em all up and ship 'em out. Then build a wall so they can't get back in!
  22. Maybe Trump would've been a good competitor to the Pats on bending the rules.
