  1. I go back to the comments by Mike Florio that many of the scouts he talked to felt that this crop of QBs isn’t as good as last year’s. I wouldn’t overspend to move up. The Bills may have blown it by not picking Watson or Mahomes when they had the opportunity with the 10th pick of the last draft but it’s in the past and can’t be changed now. They’ll just have to try and make the best move they can to improve the QB position.
  2. History has shown for the Bills and other NFL teams that, unless you want to invest in a Fournette or Gurley, productive running backs can be found in the later rounds and even undrafted free agents (Fred Jackson).
  3. Yeah, they put together a good team in the early 80s under Chuck Knox but then wouldn’t pay to keep it together so Knox left.
  4. If you hate the Pats as much as I do, I wouldn’t want their fans there.
  5. Exactly. Peyton Manning, a Super Bowl winner and HOF QB, threw 28 INTs in his rookie season, leading his team to a 3-13 record. His second season he cut his INTs almost in half (15) and his team reversed their record to 13-3.
  6. People forget the context of the 5 INTs. One went thru the receivers hands. Was it thrown too hard? Maybe, but it could've been caught. Two were thrown with a pass rusher in his face affecting the trajectory. Should he have thrown them? Maybe not, but if he held the ball and took sacks then people would complain that he was taking sacks. Only 2 of the 5 INTs were blatant bad throws and on one the defender made a great play. I'm not a Peterman backer, just being a realist. Some of you guys are too quick to make negative judgements on players, like with Zay Jones. Many called the last second play vs Carolina a drop. That catch attempt had a high degree of difficulty. Could he have caught it? Yes, but I look at it more as a disconnection, not a drop. If you wanted to see drops, you should've watched Amari Cooper this year, who I believe led the NFL in official drops. He'd be 5 yards from the QB, standing still, throw placed chest high right to his hands and he'd drop it. I don't recall Zay having more than maybe a couple like that.
  7. Trying to get the Budweiser beer vendor to give him a break on prices for his bar?
  8. That’s what I’m thinking. Record it and follow score. If Pats win, just delete. Watch if Pats lose.
  9. I thought about that combo when watching them in their bowl game.
  10. Wait a minute! Maybe we need more discussions about how college football is fixed. Alabama surprisingly picked for the playoffs over Ohio St and then win the title. Are Alabama and Nick Saban becoming the New England and Belichick of college football? Some people love them, some hate them
  11. Yeah, and when is FOX going to get rid of the robots. I ‘m talking about the CGI robots, not the studio crew or the announcers.
  12. Yeah, I remember wife and I walking thru a mall and there was a Prodigy kiosk. We signed up right away. Not long before I was hooked. Sports updates were in text, like "Smith hits home run"
  13. Wouldn’t it be interesting if Jimmy G signed back with the Pats as a free agent?

  17. I would expect soccer players get CTE. Taking a header off a hard pass is likely not good.
  18. Too many bowl games also. Remember last year? Normally needing 6 wins to be bowl eligible, there weren't enough 6 win teams so a couple of 5-7 teams went to bowls.
  19. Fichtner? I wonder if he’s related to the actor William Fichtner who’s a Bills fan?
  20. Dilly dilly! I don’t know if I’ve ever been so disinterested in the remaining 4 teams. My only rooting interests are against New England and since I have a couple of friends that are Vikings fans, root for them to have a home game for the Super Bowl. Like us Bills fans, they’ve also endured 4 Super Bowl losses, but at least theirs weren’t 4 straight.
  21. So after facing the Pats offense with Brady for 17 years and having their defense turn apart, the Bills finally may have a similar offense? It took this long to "join them" instead of trying to"beat them"? How many head coaches and offensive coordinators have the Bills had who never came up with this idea?

  23. Yeah, that clock deal at the end of the half was ridiculous. 4, 3, 2, 1 ................ Timeout! At least it was karma that Gostkowski missed the kick.
