  1. As a longtime Golden State Warriors fan, I went thru many horrible seasons before this current "Golden" period. I kid you not that for a few seasons during their dark days, they had a slogan of "It's a great time out."
  2. Stealing from the Raiders: "Buffalo Bills, a Commitment to Mediocrity" "You can count on their consistency"
  3. I strongly agree. At this point, I think Howard would likely be wasted on this team.
  4. Mike Lombardi should be on the Bills' payroll.
  5. And there are 3 available in this draft: Joel from Utah, Jamaal from BYU and Stanley from Kentucky.
  6. They should also know that pot is an NFL banned substance and it may cause brain damage, yet they smoke it anyways.
  7. Especially when that coach comes from the defensive side of the ball and the Bills defense was so bad. I would be somewhat surprised if they use the 1st pick on an offensive player but it obviously will depend on how the 1st nine picks go. If the pick is Leonard Fournette it'll take some self control to not throw a beer bottle at the TV.
  8. NFL Network's Morning show had the same 1st two picks.
  9. Usually, if you're going to beat the Pats, it's early in the season. Every year they seem to go into the playoffs on a long winning streak, with 7 in a row last season.
  10. After 17 years of this, you may want to consider using "they" and "their" instead of "we" and "our" to disassociate yourself from this train wreck.
  11. So, then it's either Jamal Williams of BYU or Joe Williams of Utah.
  12. So, you know all these guys well enough to refer to them by their first names? No, I don't think they should start working on his HOF bust just yet.
  13. For those who seem to have information about Cardale that most don't, here's an update on BuffaloBills.com: Bills Today: Jones confident after offseason improvement Posted Apr 14, 2017 Anthony Sambrotto Contributing Correspondent Bills on Facebook Bills on Twitter In this edition of Bills Today, Cardale Jones explains how work in the offseason has improved his confidence, journeyman QB Josh Woodrum is eager to capitalize on his opportunity in Buffalo and Bills Draft sleepers are identified. 1. Jones confident after offseason improvement With a battle for Buffalo’s backup quarterback position looming, Cardale Jones is confident that he can fill the role after improving his game in the offseason Jones, drafted by the Bills in the fourth round of the 2016 Draft, joined the John Murphy Show this week to talk about the experience already under his belt, the work he has put in on and off the field this offseason. The 24-year-old said that he worked with a personal quarterback coach throughout the winter, working on Jones’ ability to throw in less than ideal situations.
  14. We had neighbors that had the same thing happen with their 2 year old son. After a couple of years they moved, supposedly to a bigger house but I wondered if they needed to leave those bad memories behind. I think I would. The dad also bought a new pickup with a large backup camera.
  15. Also, most people don't want posting to be a chore. I recently used the Search functionality before posting and it returned over 20 threads. I looked thru to find what they were about and none were about my topic. Normally, I wouldn't bother to go thru it and I believe most posters wouldn't. As you said, people need to just ignore the duplicate threads and stop whining.
  16. It's the "Be a jerk and hide behind the keyboard" syndrome.
  17. I'm not sure but I think the pick would come from the 2018 draft. Free agency period goes past the draft so I think they would have any picks involved be for next year. Anybody else know about this?
  18. My take: The Bills' defense was lousy last year and they lost their top CB and leading tackler in free agency. Plus, they cut their safety tandem. Add that their new head coach was a defensive coordinator and I'm leaning towards the 1st pick being a defensive player.
  19. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Having just used a 1st round pick on EJ the prior year, there was little chance any team would've used a high pick on another QB the following year.
