Noodle arm? Have you even seen him play? He doesn't have a Rocket Arm like Allen but he still gets good force behind the ball. The Rutgers secondary played very well on Friday, not giving Jim a lot of open looks.
Speaking of Allen, watched him for the 1st time today vs Iowa. They ran a lot of outs and he got the ball there quick, reminiscent of a Marino or Kelly. He missed a few throws, a couple due to pressure, and threw 2 4th Qtr INTs but overall looked pretty good.
I also watched UB's Tyree Jackson vs Minnesota. Yes, he may turn out to be a Jamarcus Russell or EJ Manuel, but what an arm. Has some mobility also for a big guy.
