  1. The Bills last 2 games weren't very encouraging but they still hold a wild card spot. The way the AFC is looking, 8-8 may get the 2nd wild card.
  2. The Pats will be looking forward to their remaining divisional games, especially the 4 vs the Bills and Fish. Anyone doubt they'll finish 14-2 again? Please, lord, make it stop! I can't take those $0B's anymore!!
  3. Does somebody out there have some insight? (John W?). Did something happen in a game or practice with the coaching staff and players that has the players no longer buying into the process? Or were they really overachieving in the first few games and now slid back to earth? The defense was playing so well and while there have been some short-term injuries, they don't explain the poor performances in these last 2 games. Even though I sort of watched the whole game today, it was very discouraging. I bought tickets to next week's game when things were going well. Now I'm not looking forward to it. Melvin Gordon could get 200+ yards rushing. Be sure to pick him for DFS.
  4. If a rookie QB was starting, the Saints would've definitely amped up their pass rush with blitzing.
  5. Maybe, but they also lost their offensive coordinator in Shanahan. Jury still out on Sarkasian.
  6. Perhaps they didn't get an offer they found to be fair. By the way, do they no longer teach contractions in school? It's "should've", the contraction for "should have", not "should of"
  7. This has been discussed before. He wasn't expected to be a major pass rusher. His main contributions have been setting the edge on running plays. On Thurs night, Romo pointed out how he was doing great setting the edge.
  8. Yes, a beardless Fitz! He looked so much younger.
  9. Since Elway chose to hire him despite being inexperienced, he may get a pass. I've seen him make some poor decisions, including a couple vs the Bills, but they may consider that he's still learning. Today, though, he showed signs of ruining their defense, although having poor QB play doesn't help.
  10. At least, when things were going south, they didn't show McDermott clapping on the sideline.
  11. I won't be surprised if Hughes is not on the team next season.
  12. Dilly dilly! If you look at the results of the Thursday night games for the last couple of years, most of them are won easily by the home team.
  13. Buffalo Rumblings has a good article talking about the percentage of balls thrown by Cam to Benjamin that were catchable, etc. "Cam Newton led all passers with 17 percent of his passes overthrown, and that number would have been higher without Benjamin's tough catches. Based on our breakdown of incomplete passes in game charting, 27.0 percent of Benjamin's targets were deemed uncatchable (27th-most). For comparison, only 16.2 percent of Beckham's targets were uncatchable (81st). Benjamin had 15 above-the-head grabs among his first 40 catches of the season, an absurd rate. He finished with 19, second only to Beckham's 20. His season percentage of catches caught above the head (26.0 percent) is nearly three times higher than the average studied (9.2 percent)."
  14. Actually, I've been waiting for a team to hack into another team's Microsoft Surfaces.
  15. I think they've gone way overboard with this. Why are we tieing up the courts with motions for this thug who has supposedly beat up his girlfriend multiple times? Why do we involve the courts anyways involving discipline for football players? It goes back to the Goodell/Brady feud. Goodell, in my opinion, went way overboard on the length of suspension for deflated footballs and Brady set a precedent by taking it to the courts. Now, how often are we going to have to go thru this when a player objects to his suspension?
  16. He keeps his job because he's controversial and people listen and call in to his show. If everybody just ignored him, he'd probably go away. One way?
  17. I wonder, when some of these recent trades were announced, how many GMs from other teams say/think "we could've got him for that?" ?
  18. And it wasn't long ago the receiving corps was a bunch of smurfs.
  19. Plus he's a possession receiver. If they were to trade for a WR, you'd think it would be for a speed guy.
  20. When the Niners visited Washington, the Bay Area media asked Cousins about his future and he said he was happy where he is and not looking to go anywhere.
  21. I was thinking the same thing. With Clay's knees, it would be an upgrade and give Tyrod a great target. I don't know if this move would fall into the Bills "process" though. Graham has shown signs of breaking down, although he's just 30. I never understood why Seattle traded for him since they haven't fully utilized him and the trade of center Max Unger weakened their offensive line, which is still a problem. I don't think Graham can be criticized for his efforts when New Orleans tagged him and he tried to be designated as a wide receiver for a higher franchise tag amount. They eventually negotiated a new deal which made that point moot. He also IIRC has not gone public complaining about how the Seahawks have been using him. The bottom line would be whether the current Bills' team management would consider it worth taking on his contract. My gut tells me it probably would not. Where's Leroi?
