I don't understand the Bills' limited efforts in strengthening the linebacker positions. Yes, they traded up and used a 1st round pick on Tremaine Edmunds, but are they really going to expect a 20 year old to be the MLB and quarterback of the defense? Last year's starter and leading tackler, Preston Brown, was allowed to leave as a free agent. Then, you have an aging Alexander at one outside spot and a young undersized Milano at the other spot. After not using any other draft picks on the LB group, they only sign one guy as an UDFA? The depth is scary. So, I wonder, with their desire for flexibility, if maybe Trent Murphy will play some LB, as he did for Washington. Maybe Murphy plays OLB on rushing downs and then moves to DE on 3rd down with Alexander at OLB. Also, Lawson could play DE on 1st and 2nd downs with his strength playing the run and then come out on 3rd downs.

It cracks me up when he rattles off statistics for a single game played by a guy taken in the 7th round. The guy is a college football encyclopedia (the name of the book version for those only familiar with Wikepedia).

It seems like every year there's at least one WR with like a 3rd or 4th round grade who doesn't get drafted, everybody gets excited about signing him as an UDFA, and whether he signs with the Bills or another team, it turns out he probably didn't deserve to get drafted.

It's hard to be optimistic about the offense. They struggled last year and now the 2 best O-linemen are gone. The last few years they ran the ball well to the left because that was the strength of the line. Now they're all gone. Our star running back is another year older and spent a lot of time last season having to dance in the backfield and losing yardage. Our very mobile QB, who was able to make up for poor pass protection with his legs is gone. Deonte Thompson gave the WR group a spark with speed and he's gone.

Many on here wouldn't want Cain, mainly because he went to Clemson. You have to take advantage of an opportunity to add a player named Hercules.

I wonder what the Bills think of their need at WR. They traded for Benjamin , say they still have confidence in Zay Jones, still have Streater and added Kaelin Clay and Kerley

Let's and see whether Beane is done dealing. Maybe he parlays the 7th rounder and the 2019 2nd round pick to move back into the 2nd round.

Wait a minute. Allen is the one, who when interviewed after being picked, thanks the Bills organization for having faith in him while Rosen is all pouty and angry because he was the 10th pick and the 4th QB taken and you think Rosen has shown he can handle the mental skills? The same Rosen who admitted later that his smile on stage was fake? The same Rosen who the ESPN analysts said is good when the pocket is clean but freaks out when it's not, while one of Allen's strengths is being able to make plays on the run when the pocket breaks down?

If the other three do go early and the Bills want him, they still can’t sit there and wait til 12. Too much of a risk that someone else takes him.

There was an article a while back that claimed Belechick singled out SF to trade to and initiated talks. Supposedly he usually does this with trades and doesn't just open up trading of a player for all offers.

Chances are, if they do trade a bundle to draft a QB and he starts, it could happen, especially with all the other weaknesses.
