    Personally, I would break a Freddie/Cribbs tie with the facts that Freddie wanted to continue with the Bills and pushed to retire as a Bill. Cribbs left on his own and then was "forced" to return when the USFL folded.

    Peterman had shown in garbage time of the previous blowout, and likely in practice, the ability to make quick decisions and get the ball out with confidence. Starting him on the road vs the Chargers strong pass rush and secondary just didn’t work out.
