  1. Refreshingly rare for a professional athlete to be so self depricating with the contract joke. Great video.
  2. When the Patriots fans great grandkids visit the stadium in the future and see the Super Bowl trophies, do you think anyone will comment “Yeah, but they had no class.”?
  3. Yeah, they said the same things to get Californians to vote for the lottery. People I know that work in school systems say all that trickles down to the schools is peanuts.
  4. Welcome. Are you a Wyoming fan that became a Bills fan because of Allen?
  5. I remember watching the draft with a friend, who follows college football more than I do. I said "Who?" and started to look him up when my friend blurted out "had a 4th round grade".
  6. In no particular order: Not keeping Ahmad Rashad Firing Bill Polian Drafting CJ Spiller Not keeping Jason Peters happy and around Trading a 1st rounder (and 4th) for Rob Johnson, a QB with limited experience Letting Pat Williams and Antoine Winfield leave
  7. Tell me about it! We're old school and still get local paper delivered. The number of errors I see is ridiculous, and some of the items are taken from other papers or AP. It seems they may use a spellchecker but not a grammar checker so you'll have the misuse of the 'their, there, they're' words and words added or missing so that sentences don't make any sense. Just this week there was an AP baseball blurb were the heading was something like 'Rays down Orioles' and then the story has the opposite. With the Internet news more current and recent delivery issues, we finally cancelled the paper. I find the same errors throughout the Internet also. No pride in what they throw out there.
  8. That 1st line sounds like a Yogi Berra quote. We’ll know when we know. They’re all bad until they’re good.
  9. I still remember when OJ went over 2000 yards and Rick Azar said on the broadcast “I wonder if any of us fully realize the significance of what we have just witnessed “
  10. I've noticed on some recent job applications that those types of questions sometimes say "within the last 10 years". If it's not a major crime like murder or assault, I think it makes sense to not punish someone for something done earlier in their life, especially as a kid.
  11. And we thought the sports writers at the Buffalo News were bad. https://sports.yahoo.com/swirl-questions-surround-lions-matt-patricia-dismissed-sex-assault-case-comes-light-062930363.html Why would this Detroit reporter dig this up and write an article about it after Patricia was already hired as head coach? Does he have an axe to grind with the Lions? Did Patricia not give him an interview? To go back and dig up this story 20 years later, how does this help anyone involved?
  12. Willie Totten was a QB for the Bills during the 1987 NFL strike as one of the replacement players. He was Jerry Rice’s college QB at Mississippi Valley State.
  13. Winners win! More talent with Rex at the helm and he couldn’t break .500
  14. I agree with you and all of this makes it even more puzzling that Danny Crossman retains his job now across multiple owners, GMs and head coaches. It's not like he's some young, innovative and highly successful special teams coach. Why didn't McDermott get his own guy like he did for the other positions on his staff? Does Crossman have some dirt on someone?
  15. How about How about Juan Castillo? Maybe he’s the real reason Incognito retired
  16. In the age of texting and twitter, some people are easily impressed when someone puts multiple complete sentences together.
  17. until
1st chance to see Allen in action
  18. And wasn't Sam Wyche brought in to work with Losman? They tried different techniques with Bledsoe to try and get him to get rid of the ball, which I don't recall really working. The QB Guru David Lee made Fitzpatrick worse.
  19. To avoid bring drafted by Cleveland?
  20. I think it's also the typical national opinion. "They traded away Tyrod so Allen must be the starter."
