Okay, buddy, here's the facts: I started with the 1980s since everybody knows the Dolphins won every matchup in the '70s and included games played Nov 1st and later. Starting with the 1st game in 1985, the Dolphins have visited 23 times, including 2 playoff games, and the Bills record in those games is 16-7.

Myth of "weather advantage"? You might want to check the history of Miami visits in late November and December. The Raiders and Chargers are other teams that struggle in winter weather. That being said, I relocated many years ago and haven't attended a game in Orchard Park since Thanksgiving weekend of 1996 but that game is imprinted in my memory as it was so cold, even my family and friends who were residents wanted to leave after the 3rd Qtr. I think it would make sense to go with a dome. I'm sure some decision makers in Minneapolis may be 2nd guessing their replacing of the Metrodome with an open air baseball stadium.

I hear you. He's 34 years old but remember he sat behind Favre for 3 years. Still he's taken a beating for a decade. You could probably still get 4 very good years out of him.

Dramatic roster overhaul for Bills from one year ago

It's been awhile but I remember like 15-20. -
And the Rams thought so much of him that they let him leave and then traded for Brandin Cooks.

All of these pre-draft visits with RBs has me wondering. If the pre-draft visits were unlimited, I wouldn't think twice about it, but with the limit of 30, and several being used for RBs, what could be on the horizon (#25?)?

***Speculation from Brownsboard.com***

Again, these are the Browns. Regarding the difference of opinions, I still strongly believe that the head coach and GM have to be compatible and work together on these decisions. That's why I like the Beane/McDermott duo. I'm sure they disagree at times, it's only human nature. What I don't understand is this talk that a GM gets the 53 and the coach works with the players he's given. That seams asinine. The QB position is the best to analyze this. If the coach plans to run a West Coast offense with short accurate passing, it would make no sense for the GM to draft a Josh Allen, who has a rocket arm but struggled with touch on shorter passes, because he thought he was the best QB. If a coach wanted to be able to run a system with a run-pass option where the QB had the freedom to run with the ball, it would not make sense for a GM to draft a Josh Rosen or Rudolph, both of which are said to be pretty immobile. You can apply my opinion to all other positions like a GM drafting a LB who's a better fit for a 4-3 when the head coach/def cord want to run a 3-4 defense. Now, all that being said, you have to remember what Beane said about NOT drafting a player for a system because he could likely outlast the coordinators and head coach so it's best to draft a player who would be adaptable to any system. Man, I think these guys definitely earn their money having to make these decisions. -
If if you want a high QB then they should sign the party boy Johnny Football.

And there is an Elton John tribute coming up.

"Giants 'don't like' Josh Rosen".

In today's NFL QB marketplace, giving up an arm and leg to get an arm is expected. -
I still don't get why the NFL teams refuse to adapt to what QBs are comfortable with in college. Who dictated what an NFL offense should look like? If a QB excelled in college in an Air Raid offense, why doesn't the NFL team that drafts him hire an OC that has been successful with that offense and implement it? Why make the QBs have to "transition to an NFL offense"? The most infamous NFL OC/head coach that actually did this was June Jones with the run-and-shoot. I don't understand why there haven't been more.

I somewhat understand the safety angle of it, but, to me, eliminating kickoffs is eliminating one of the most exciting plays in sports. The crowd goes nuts before the opening kickoff, especially for college games, and sets a high energy level for the home team. This has already been reduced by the NFL moving the yard line for kickoff up, resulting in many anticlimactic touchbacks. You could say that players shouldn't need the crowd to get them up for the start of the game but it's human nature that they feed off the energy of the crowd.

20 Year Debate: Carucci in 1998 - Head vs. Arm
BobbyC81 replied to BigBuff423's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Darnold reminds me a lot of Brett Favre. He’ll make awesome throws, including on rollouts, then he’ll try and thread the next one between 3 defenders and have it picked off. I don’t know if that’s arrogance, dumbness or a combination of the two. Rosen has the intelligence but does it translate to football smarts? -
We should have kept Taylor... (TSW Mock draft related...)
