  1. Too many bowl games also. Remember last year? Normally needing 6 wins to be bowl eligible, there weren't enough 6 win teams so a couple of 5-7 teams went to bowls.
  2. Fichtner? I wonder if he’s related to the actor William Fichtner who’s a Bills fan?
  3. Dilly dilly! I don’t know if I’ve ever been so disinterested in the remaining 4 teams. My only rooting interests are against New England and since I have a couple of friends that are Vikings fans, root for them to have a home game for the Super Bowl. Like us Bills fans, they’ve also endured 4 Super Bowl losses, but at least theirs weren’t 4 straight.
  4. So after facing the Pats offense with Brady for 17 years and having their defense turn apart, the Bills finally may have a similar offense? It took this long to "join them" instead of trying to"beat them"? How many head coaches and offensive coordinators have the Bills had who never came up with this idea?
  5. until
    Mobile, Alabama NFL Network
  6. Yeah, that clock deal at the end of the half was ridiculous. 4, 3, 2, 1 ................ Timeout! At least it was karma that Gostkowski missed the kick.
  7. I’ve met a few people here in the Sacramento area that are Bills fans who have no ties to Western New York. It was the Kelly led offense that attracted them.
  8. So that was the problem with the run defense, we had a corpse playing LB.
  9. Yeah, how many times after a transgression did he say he would learn from it and try yo be a better teammate and person, then get in trouble for something else?
  10. Since the NFL changed the touchback rule to put the ball at the 25, no player should run it out. I think I've only seen a few times where a player gets it out to the 25 or beyond.
  11. I heard I believe Ian Rappoport talking about Pees retiring and the possibility of Wink Martindale replacing him no I thought he made a mistake but then read Don also has the same nickname.
  12. Dude, Either turn off autocorrection or read your post before you submit it.
  13. Yes, I think many of us have gotten to the point where we dislike the Patriots so much that it's not worth going through rooting against them only to watch them win again. You know, doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. INSANITY! I have watched every Super Bowl since #4 but if the Pats are in again, I am leaning towards not watching. The Super Bowl ads aren't worth watching as much as they used to be either. We have a good group of people that always gets together to watch but I may have to pass. Unfortunately, the College Football Playoffs are starting to get almost as bad with Alabama winning so frequently. I have no reason to hate Alabama though.
  14. Yep, after 2004 season when the Bills won 6 in a row by big scores before blowing the "win-and-your-in" game to the Steelers backups. There also seemed to be a lot of excitement when Rex was hired a few days after the 2014 season.
  15. I might trade up to get LB Roquan Smith. That dude is fast.
  16. Nor EJ Manuel, just focusing on Bills. Has he also forgotten about Tebow? (Uh oh, do I get a warning for mentioning him?)
  17. Remember that the Texans have Will Fuller, who looked great with Watson at QB, so I don't think they'd be looking to add a starting WR. San Francisco, definitely and they have a lot of cap space. Rams right now have to think of Robert Woods as their #1 so I don't see them competing with what Sammy may get offered by SF and other teams.
  18. I’m convinced that “process” is just a current buzzword that is being overused and frequently in the wrong context. As a trained Industrial engineer, I was all about process improvement. An auto assembly line is a good example of a process as an engineer would determine the best order of stations for assembling cars that would be the most efficient. The Philadelphia 76ers started this “trust the process “ BS but theirs was easy to understand. They got rid of high priced veterans and tanked to get high draft picks to build thru the draft. I’m still not totally sure what McDermott’s “process “ is that he keeps talking about. At times it seems convoluted. They let several good players leave in free agency (Woods, Gilmore, Z.Brown, Robey-Coleman) Then they have to use their draft picks to replenish those positions. They got rid of high priced players like Watkins, Darby, Dareus that they said didn’t fit or weren’t all in on “the process “. Then they trade for Kelvin Benjamin after they depleted the WR position and the remaining guys were injured or not producing. However McD continuously talks about improving the team for now and the future. Then, they actually get this talent gutted team to play hard and together and break the dang playoff drought. A process needs to be defined so it can be evaluated for success. So, I’d have to say so far it is a success, whatever it is.
  19. Yes, there have been a few instances in the last 3 years where the Bills seemed to get a lucky call and I don't think they once got to the line and snapped it before either the replay booth chimed in or the opposing coach threw the red flag. You'd think after 3 years as starter, Tyrod would be better at this. Also, yes, Tyrod took more deep shots with a healthy Sammy. That was also a bone of contention because they too frequently did it on 3rd and short. Different OC and head coach, though.
  20. Special Teams- Does Danny Crossman have something on someone at OBD? Under his 3rd head coach and still has a job. Considering who’s left across these 3 coaching regimes, maybe it’s Brandon. I haven’t seen any official stats, but here’s what I grabbed off Yahoo Sports: Punt return avg- 10th Kickoff return average- 24th Punting average- 16th Punts inside 20- tied for 15th Punt coverage- Yds per return- 5th Kickoff coverage, YPR- 21st So, for the categories I listed, that’s 2 in top 10, 2 at average, and 2 below average. Actually better than I thought but when you have a weak offense is average good enough?
  21. Speedy linebackers. Guys that could catch a running Bortles.
  22. And he's now 2-5 overall, but this is the 2nd game with KC (Indy in 2013) where he did his part to get a big lead that they couldn't hold.
