  1. It could explain some 'Missing Persons ' cases.
  2. Is this from the Ricky Watters and Latrell Sprewell book of life?
  3. We all hope that this regime will be better at these decisions than those others in the last 20 years but we'll have to wait and see. Keeping Tyrod around past the bonus date only makes sense if they're still not sure what they're going to do and what they do may depend on what happens in free agency prior to the draft. If, say, Alex Smith does go to Washington, Cousins to Denver and maybe Foles to Arizona, Bradford to the Jets and an McCarron to Cleveland , then maybe Tyrod is retained.
  4. Just No! McBeane determined Sammy wasn’t their type of guy and got rid of him. FOGGETABOUTIT!
  5. Yeah, some of the comments I’ve read from those having them take a CB are like “They lost Gillmore last year in free agency, traded away Darby and Gaines will be a free agent so they need to get a CB in the 1st”. Last offseason’s moves no longer matter.
  6. I believe one of the worst may have been Thurman Thomas at home who the Bills took in the 2nd round and ESPN had a crew there.
  7. Eli doesn’t have a poker face. Remember the shot of him in the suite at the Super Bowl when he realized Big Bro Peyton was about to tie him in titles won?
  8. I don't understand this spreadsheet since there are no column headings. What does 48 over 4 mean? What are the last 2 columns? Why is Tyrod's height and weight shown? What is the color coding?
  9. Isn't the truth? It cracks me up when Kiper, McShay, etc. post another mock draft when there's no reason why it should've changed from the last one.
  10. Looking forward to seeing all these QB prospects running around in shorts and throwing vs air.
  11. Carolina is going to cut Jonathan Stewart and the Bills will sign him to join his buddy Tolbert.
  12. This was the 8th school shooting in the US since January 1st. It's becoming so common and we've become so desensitized that most are unaware of this.
  13. You're right. This will be an unusual offseason where you have several veteran QBs available in free agency and trade plus a possibly strong QB draft class. I'd be all in on trading up for one of the college guys if there was a "once in a decade" prospect and there weren't all of these other options. I think the Bills should and will pursue NFL vets strongly and not just wait for the draft. For whatever reasons they didn't stay put in the 2017 draft 1st round and take a Mahomes or Watson when they had the opportunity but that's in the past. Unfortunately I also keep thinking back to those comments by Mike Florio about scouts he'd talked to thinking that the 2017 QB draft class was better than the 2018 class.
  14. Were his passes less catchable than the others? Elway threw hard no matter the distance which made catching his balls difficult. I worked with a guy who played as a WR with him at Stanford. This guy said by the end of the season his fingers were so messed up he was catching the ball with his palms and his body.
  15. And the NFL has the Super Bowl halftime performers paying to perform and asks for volunteers to set up and take down the stage? $#%&@! greedy $&@#%ers!!!
  16. C’mon. Rams did it for Goff and won the division in his 2nd season. Iggles did it for Wentz and won Super Bowl. Sometimes you gotta pay what the market demands to get what you want/need. And McDermott overruled Whaley because he was all in on Tyrod? Sigh!
  17. That was great and I'm glad you didn't have Grymski giving Gostkowski a "kielbasa".
  18. Moonlight as an engineer? This is like the contrast of the Golden State Warriors to the Spurs. The Warriors have fun playing a fun style which is part of Steve Kerr’s philosophy and they win. It’s great watching the players cheering from the bench. The Spurs style is methodical and they have a strict former Marine as coach and the players on the bench sit there quietly. They also have been winning for 20 years with 5 titles. You can easily tell they’re not having as much fun as the Warriors
  19. Unfortunately, it’s part of their culture. Had a co-worker who grew up in Oakland. He was telling us about he and his wife meeting up with someone to sell a car and he says “of course the wife had a gun in her purse in case there was any funny business”. While most of us were taken aback by this, I thought that I guess that’s just what they’re used to
  20. And oddly Weedon, Quinn and Manziel were all drafted by Cleveland and all with the 22nd pick of the draft. So, wouldn't it be hilarious for them to trade with the Bills and get pick #22 and then use it on another QB that doesn't pan out?
  21. Yeah, that’s why the Niners are working hard to get Jimmy G signed before free agency starts.
