  1. Peterman also looked much better than TT playing in the 4th Quarter of the Saints game.
  2. Was the Chandler 81 custom made or from back in that era?
  3. These are also the reasons why I think they should have a 3rd QB. If you think Allen isn't ready, what if Peterman gets injured early in a game and Allen has to be put in the game? If he has a game like Peterman had vs the Chargers, you take the risk of killing his confidence and then he'll also have the media and fan scrutiny that Peterman faced. With McCarron gone to Oakland, you then have to bring in another QB who doesn't know the system and playbook so you may have to continue to play Allen, who you previously decided wasn't ready, until the new QB is up to speed.
  4. Well, there's a couple of ways of looking at it (same with Coleman): 1. It doesn't hurt to kick the tires on a previously highly regarded prospect 2. Do they think these players may have been poorly coached up and they can do better? It happens in the NBA all the time.
  5. Yeah, it doesn't seem that long ago that Moorman became the first punter to have a net average of 40.0+ yards. The bar is much higher now. The top punters are now approaching averages of 50 yards per punt with net averages around 45 yards. Schmidt's numbers were more in line with Moorman's numbers in the past.
  6. I think maybe it autocorrected when he typed web page.
  7. A Jauron-ish 6-10. That 1st half schedule is just too tough to expect more than a couple wins. Then, they'll jell in the 2nd half with more home games.
  8. I hope that at least Daboll makes the offense more fun to watch with his play calling . That may be tough, though, the way the O-Line has looked in pass protection.
  9. I watched him play in his one year at Cal. Nothing special but had a good connection with his wide receiver Chad Hansen who made some unbelievable catches. Hansen, another white WR, was cut by the Jets and added by the Pats.
  10. They beat us twice every year, usually easily. Why would they need the Bills' playbook?
  11. The Bills finished 6th in rushing yards last season. Their current O-line is good at run blocking, just not so good at pass protection.
  12. Even though they said they weren't getting rid of players because they were acquired by the previous regime, the facts don't lie. Who is left from before Rex was hired? Kyle Williams and Jerry Hughes? That's crazy. Yes, the average NFL career is about 3 years, free agency makes it different and teams change over about 20% of their roster every year but this was a major purge. Think of how many of the '90s Bills team played 5 years or more with them, and that's not even considering those that were for 10 + years. Recently, the Seahawks have kept a large core together for a few years.
  13. I'm littlejoecartwright and I do not approve this deal, leaving only 2 inexperienced QBs.
  14. I hope they sign Guard de Beer to the practice squad. You gotta have someone around to “guard the beer “.
  15. Yes, I became a Cowboys fan in the 70s as a team to root for in the playoffs and they were always on TV. It was a likeable team with Landry, Staubach, Drew Pearson, Randy White, Walt Garrison, Calvin Hill, etc I was also pissed when Jones fired Landry and stopped rooting for them, which was somewhat good when the Bills ended up losing the Super Bowls to them. I sure wish Jones’s son wouldn’t have taken that Manziel draft card from him. That would’ve been priceless if they drafted him.
  16. I have Roku and for Bills/Bears it shows it available at midnight with a notation of UTC. ?? Most of the other games are live.
  17. Browns. They lost 2 games last season in OT and 4 others by 7 points or less. I know many Bills fans don't think much of Tyrod but he will be a steadying influence and we know he doesn't commit turnovers. With the additions they've made to the roster, plus the experience gained by their youngsters, I can see them improving to 6 or 7 wins ( maybe more), despite Hue Jackson being their coach.
  18. I wonder how far out they can go with future picks? I'd give 2 1sts if one can be out in 2025.
  19. Payton has said that Taysom Hill may be their QB of the future so maybe they don't think he's ready to be the backup. They also have Tom Savage and J.T. Barrett.
  20. Boys, knock it off or you're not getting any dessert!
  21. Is he part of the Teletubbie family?
  22. He also looks like Jimmy on Yellowstone.
  23. I was surprised to see in the box score that Schmidt actually averaged over 40 yards. It seemed on every punt that the returner was running up at least 10 yards. Then Ryan only had one punt in the 2nd half so tough to gauge whether he was any better.
