  1. Brett Favre. His stats at Southern Mississippi weren’t that impressive, yet he was drafted in the 2nd round.
  2. As Yogi said: "It's deja vu all over again."
  3. With this new contract, he can buy himself a nice new house with a 'see-ment' pond! ?
  4. Watch Hue Jackson use him the right way, Tyrod has a near MVP type season throwing to Josh Gordon, Jarvis Landry, their TEs and Duke Johnson. The Browns rebound from a winless season to go 8-8. Then Darnold starts the next season.
  5. I think you guys are overrating Hurns. Sure, in 2015 when Bortles was great, he had a good season with 60 recs, 1000+ yards and 10 TDs. Then in 2016, Bortles was horrible and it affected everybody. In 2017, Bortles rebounded some and with Allen Robinson injured for the year in the opener, Hurns had a great opportunity but he didn't come thru. He ended up not even starting as Marqise Lee and Dede Westbrook became the starters. Hurns finished with 39 receptions, 484 yards and 2 TDs. I would not offer big money for Hurns. If he gets it elsewhere, good for him.
  6. It's apparently been deleted. What did he say?
  7. Yes, let us not forget one of the saddest events in sports when Len Bias, who supposedly didn't use drugs, died of an overdose after celebrating being the 3rd pick of the NBA Draft.
  8. And then the Jets can make Cleveland a big offer to move to #1
  9. You guys had me crying from laughing so hard. ?
  10. What? Wasn’t Whaley the GM when they had a QB group of Manuel, Lewis and Tuel? It wasn’t until Marrone yelled and screamed that they added Orton
  11. Yep, people forget that not only do they already have a young QB in Paxton Lynch, they also have Chad Kelly. The youngsters just aren’t ready yet.
  12. Definitely. Since the defenses can not play the passing game as physical as they used to, they have to disguise coverages and the QB has to be able to recognize this.
  13. I think Bruschi is an idiot but there is some truth to what he says. I grew up in Buffalo and hated the winter weather and the summer humidity. I jumped at the opportunity to move to California and I would never move back there or anywhere else in the North. If the Bills sense Rosen doesn't want to play in Buffalo, if they move up, they can still draft him and then try and work a trade like Elway to Denver or Eli to the Giants.
  14. until
    Owners Mtg- 4 days
  15. Pryor is the most intriguing because of his youth compared to the other WRs listed while Wallace provides the needed breakaway speed, but he'll turn 32 before the next season. Pryor may be just as fast, if not faster, at this point.
  16. Did you lose some keystrokes when you attempted to type "Tolberts a fat tub of lard I think" ?
  17. Awesome! As I've moved into the last chapter of my life, I've had 2 realistic hopes for my Univ of Buffalo Bulls: the basketball team to win an NCAA Tourney game and the football team to win a bowl game. I now have witnessed one of them. The football team should be good this year so maybe the bowl game win is coming. Of course, two other items on my sports-related wish list are the Bills winning a Super Bowl and the Sabres winning the Stanley Cup. Things are looking up for the Bills right now. The Sabres not so much.
  18. And yet, for some reason, they kept giving Kelsay big contract extensions.
  19. Really! Taylor is gone people! Let's not talk about him anymore!!
  20. Especially since most coaches don't do that, unless a meddlesome owner forces them to.
  21. Yeah, he's played in a lot of big games since then: beer pong, King's Cup, Flip Cup, etc.
