I've noticed on some recent job applications that those types of questions sometimes say "within the last 10 years". If it's not a major crime like murder or assault, I think it makes sense to not punish someone for something done earlier in their life, especially as a kid.

I agree with you and all of this makes it even more puzzling that Danny Crossman retains his job now across multiple owners, GMs and head coaches. It's not like he's some young, innovative and highly successful special teams coach. Why didn't McDermott get his own guy like he did for the other positions on his staff? Does Crossman have some dirt on someone?

I don't understand the Bills' limited efforts in strengthening the linebacker positions. Yes, they traded up and used a 1st round pick on Tremaine Edmunds, but are they really going to expect a 20 year old to be the MLB and quarterback of the defense? Last year's starter and leading tackler, Preston Brown, was allowed to leave as a free agent. Then, you have an aging Alexander at one outside spot and a young undersized Milano at the other spot. After not using any other draft picks on the LB group, they only sign one guy as an UDFA? The depth is scary. So, I wonder, with their desire for flexibility, if maybe Trent Murphy will play some LB, as he did for Washington. Maybe Murphy plays OLB on rushing downs and then moves to DE on 3rd down with Alexander at OLB. Also, Lawson could play DE on 1st and 2nd downs with his strength playing the run and then come out on 3rd downs.

It cracks me up when he rattles off statistics for a single game played by a guy taken in the 7th round. The guy is a college football encyclopedia (the name of the book version for those only familiar with Wikepedia).

It seems like every year there's at least one WR with like a 3rd or 4th round grade who doesn't get drafted, everybody gets excited about signing him as an UDFA, and whether he signs with the Bills or another team, it turns out he probably didn't deserve to get drafted.
