  1. Yeah, but despite Tyrod’s mobility, he took a lot of sacks because he held onto the ball too long. If Daboll implements a short quick passing game that the QB is successful with, it could compensate for a potentially weaker O-line
  2. LOL at fan in foreground with Peterman jersey! Hope he didn't pay full price!
  3. He did well vs some 2nd rate OTs and offenses. He too often was held in check. Miami’s Webb owned him. I recall too many times where an OT pushed him beyond the pocket so he was way out of the play. He didn’t have a counter move.
  4. I don't usually watch the ESPYs so I know little about most other speeches, but, to me, Jimbo's ranks right up there with Jimmy V and Craig Sager.
  5. Super Bowl 27-. got really drunk/depressed with that performance SB 28-. after that one, I knew I could not mentally or physically handle a 5th straight loss
  6. Yep, still gave me goosebumps. "The autumn wind is a pirate..."
  7. No, 10 team league with 18 roster spots, and it wasn’t even the same team that drafted McCoy. Strange draft. This league has 2 starting QBs. Strangest pick was likely a Niners fan taking Garappolo with the 3rd pick. Another team picked 4 QBs in the 1st 7 rounds.
  8. Number 6 seems about right. A lot of talented youngsters. You definitely have to put L. Bell and Gurley ahead of him and probably David Johnson. McCoy then in a group with Elliott, Gordon and maybe Hunt. I had a fantasy football draft on Sunday (Yes, I know, way too early!) and saw the effect of the accusations related to McCoy. He lasted until the 47th pick, whereas last year I took him with the 7th pick. C. Ivory was also taken in the later rounds.
  9. All those open parentheses running around out there and Tyrod doesn't see them.
  10. You beat me to it. The communication may have gone something like this: Beane calls Murray's agent: "Hi, this is Brandon Beane, GM of the Buffalo Bills. I'd like to find out if your client, DeMarco Murray, would have any interest in joining our team." Agent: "Let me find out and get back to you." Agent contacts Murray: "DeMarco, I just got a call from the Buffalo Bills asking if you'd be interested in joining them." Murray, knowing the Bills had two of their top offensive linemen retire and question marks at the QB and WR positions: "What?! Hell no!! Tell them I retired!"
  11. I saw that, too. I read or saw about Marcia Clark not wanting to do the glove test but Darden did it anyways. That may have been the prosecution’s biggest mistake.
  12. People tend to forget that Cleveland got Bernie Kosar in the supplemental draft.
  13. IIRC it said something like 'good looking women only' and send pictures.
  14. Remember also, soon after the Bills traded for McCoy, he did a party invite, where he invited only hot women. This incident is low on the scale but showed somewhat the type of person we're talking about here.
  15. Oye, too many to choose from. Living on the West Coast, I've attended about a dozen games out here and the Bills won only once, the Rams game 2 seasons ago. The Chargers game last year ended up a rout but it was a good atmosphere of Bills fans. I'd have to say the worst was vs the Niners in December of 2001 at Candlestick Park. Not only were the Bills never in a 35-0 game, it was cold, windy & rainy to make it extra miserable.
  16. The wording on the tweet of the OP and that on Profootballtalk is not clear. PFT says " grounds crew or team personnel". Aren't the players 'team personnel"?
  17. Too many rules and this one makes as little sense as any. Why force the holder and kicker to have to deal with deep snow? How is it an advantage if both teams can follow it? I also don't like the rules on movement and alignment. Watch a CFL or Arena League game with all the movement. What's wrong with that? The defense can move all over the place.
  18. 1. Wide receiver 2. I would like it to be Bob Chandler but since he's deceased I'll go with a guy from the same era with a similar game in Fred Belitnikoff. 3. Kelly 4. 81- Chandler's number
  19. I disagree. I think I would miss Chris Brown. ?
  20. My favorite part was Angelica Huston watching Super Bowl 25 years later and acting like she was seeing it for the first time. "Shh, I'm watching the game! Oh, he missed the kick!"
  21. Saw Naaman score a TD for Saskatchewan in the earlier game yesterday
  22. Unfortunately not. I think I was in 6th grade and in one of my classes the teacher made posters with the final score for each Bills game and there was discussion on Mondays about the previous day's game and I didn't have a clue about it. This was the 1968 season I believe. Then, the following year a classmate asked me who I thought was going to win the World Series and I responded with "Who's playing?". When he told me it was the NY Mets and Baltimore, I picked the Mets. Soon after I came home from school and my Dad was watching the Series and I sat down to watch so that was the first sports event I ever watched. I realized later that my Dad was only watching because he was in a pool at work. He didn't watch much other sports. Watching that Series though was the beginning of my obsession with sports. I guess it quickly got so bad that in high school a classmate said "All you talk about is sports. You 're like a Rick Azar!" Soon after that Mets series I watched the 1970 Knicks championship and the Stanley Cup winning Bobby Orr flying goal. Then came 1970 when both the Buffalo Braves and Sabres began. My Dad worked 2nd shift a lot which gave me access to the lone TV we had to watch these games. For Bills football on Sundays, he was usually hung over so I got to the TV first to watch but heard his grumbles. He would sit there and laugh at the Bills and ask me why I watched such a lousy team. I usually didn't get to watch any other games as he'd rather be watching Hee Haw or Lawrence Welk. I moved away after college and my dad went back to his childhood hobby of raising/racing pigeons. A member of his club was long-time Bills' trainer Eddie Abramowski. I guess he got my Dad interested in the Bills so on future visits during football season we'd actually watch the Bills together. He would also send me Bills' team photos he got from Abramowski. So, although Dad wasn't a Bills fan during my youth, that '69 Mets Series was what got me started into sports.
