Yeah, even the stuff they show on Hard Knocks is amazing. I was just watching an episode from the 2014 Atlanta Falcons camp when Brian Cox was the DE coach. He was having a couple of young players running to get into shape. He was yelling at them to move and they were just standing there ignoring him and when they did run they were dogging it.

I bought a book thru Amazon about the longtime Bay Area broadcaster and I could have sworn I selected New. The book comes in and it's in perfect condition so no reason to think it wasn't new. Inside the cover was written "To Jose, the greatest Raiders fan!"

I find a lot of errors in online articles. Our local paper was getting pretty bad. It wasn’t spelling errors so much as missing and extra words. It’s like they used spellcheck but didn’t run a grammar check. Today’s rush to get news out really has done a job on quality. Seems to be little pride in quality. (We recently cancelled paper delivery for multiple reasons.)

This is very true and may have contributed to Chad NOT ending up with the Bills. Uncle Jim may have been around for advice but there may have been too much pressure playing for the same team.

And that's one of the reasons why he doesn't work for an NFL team and just writes about them. The Bills QB position right now is a competition. Counting today they've only had 5 practices. They need to see how these 3 guys perform in a couple preseason games before making a sound decision.

Yeah, if you watch a rugby match, they aren't wearing helmets and tackle without using their heads. The game is different though as you don't have a safety or linebacker coming at full speed from several yards behind the line. Still, the NFL players just have to adjust. I think, while helmets and shoulder pads have provided more protection, they have also provided weapons. A defender without a helmet isn't likely to use his head to tackle.

That was a critique going into the draft.

Yep, and the team had a lot of pressure (heavily on themselves) in the last 2 after losing the first 2. Only us Bills fans will remember that the score of SB 27 was 14-10 late in the first half with the Bills in the red zone. Kelly gets dinged, stays in the game, and lobs the ball into the end zone for Big Pete M, only to be picked off. Two big passes make it 21-10, then another turnover on a play that knocks Kelly out for the game and it starts totally unraveling at 28-10. Then in SB27, the Bills played a very good 1st half but the Thurman fumble, which only tied the game, deflated the team. I'll admit, after that one, in hindsight I was somewhat glad there wasn't a fifth in a row.

I was surprised that no new TE talent was brought in. It's an average group at best although lean more towards mediocre. Yet, for a DL group that is strong and deep, they keep bringing guys in.

And he got rid of his dreds. NFL Network showed him and he said since he turned 25 it was time to get rid of them.

So, will Lawson then get traded later in the preseason for a 4th round pick?
