  1. So are we thinking the NFL may be actually run by New England organized crime?
  2. Trent Richardson on this team along with Colton Schmidt! Joe Pendry as GM, Ted Cottrell as LB coach and Martin Bayless as DB coach.
  3. I recorded the game while at a SB party of about 30. At the party it was very difficult to hear. There was a Walmart commercial with special cars from movie and TV shows. I guess it was on before the game as it wasn’t on my recording so I watched it online. It was pretty good.
  4. You don't realize that the MLB draft means little, especially being picked 9th. It's all based on potential. Here are the #9 picks of the prior 10 drafts: 2008- Aaron Crow, P, Washington- didn't sign, 12th pick in 2009 draft by KC, 20-11 MLB record, now playing in Mexico 2009- Jacob Turner, P, Detroit- . 14-31 record in MLB, now playing in Korea 2010- Karsten Whitson, P, SD- didn't sign out of HS, 11th rnd pick in 2014 draft by Boston, only made it to A ball 2011- Javier Baez, INF, Cubs, All Star in 2018! 2012- Andrew Heaney, P, Miami- 16-20 MLB record, Full time SP for Angels in 2018 2013- Austin Meadows, OF, Pitts- PART-time OF for Tampa in 2018, 5 HR, 16 RBI in MLB 2014- Jeff Hoffman, P, Toronto- . 6-9 MLB record, spent most of 2018 in AAA 2015- Ian Happ, OF, CUBS- solid utility player 2016- Matt Manning, P, Detroit- only A ball to date 2017-
  5. Public speaking can be improved on, even just by being more comfortable. Ums and Uhs would be a problem when making in-game decisions.
  6. That's what I think every time I see that. Hopefully they can package some of those lower round picks for another 2nd day pick.
  7. I still keep wondering why McDaniels would change his mind on the Indy job and turn down interviews this year unless he was promised something like BB retiring and him taking over.
  8. To me the win over Seattle was due to the Seattle coaching staff getting too cute at the goalline instead of just handing off to Lynch.
  9. I believe DBs and WRs should be able to battle it out for a ball. Too many times it’s called interference.
  10. He had like one good run in this game
  11. Didn’t it make you want to go out and buy a Kia?
  12. He probably heard the Shout song while in the womb though.
  13. If you read the whole article, he was actually born after they returned to Novato, California.
  14. Or Joey Chestnut was returning from a hot dog eating contest.
  15. I ‘ll never forget when he didn’t challenge an obvious bad call in Kansas City and when asked about it later said “because they didn’t show the replay on the big board”. Idiot!
  16. So, the plan should be to try and get a good center in free agency (Paradis) but if not successful, make it a priority in the draft.
  17. There was also the supposed mall incident when he took a $20 from a cop’s wife, who asked him to autograph it, and walked off with it.
  18. Well it might not be their choice if Daboll continues his recent career trend of being a nomad.
  19. It seemed the defensive players were trying at times, more so in the 1st half. As the OP mentioned, there was actually a goalline stand by the AFC defense. Then, in the 2nd half, and especially the 4th quarter, they'd just touch a guy and he'd stop. Near the end it got really ridiculous as the refs blew the whistle a few times when the ball carrier wasn't even touched. What was up with that? Still, with the way offenses have been, I expected a high scoring game but the NFC had to score late to avoid being shutout. I think the players might actually try harder if they played flag football.
  20. Meh. The defensive players playing on offense was a little fun but I think it even made more of a mockery of the game. In the NHL All Star game, do the goalies move up and play on a wing? No. Do forwards put on pads and take a turn in goal? No In the Baseball All Star game does a pitcher go out and play shortstop? No
  21. Remember the 2011 draft when Locker, Gabbert and Ponder all taken in the Top 12, all taken too high.
  22. Remember the old line “those that can’t play; coach”.
  23. Tony Greene was a good “centerfielder”.
  24. Yeah, remember when the NHL instituted the delayed replay on Offside. There would be a close Offside not called, the offensive team had the puck in the zone for about a minute before scoring and then the ppposing coach challenged the Offside to wipe out the goal. That was a ridiculous nightmare.
  25. That was a judgement call. It was just poor judgement. From the replays, I don’t know what the refs were looking at.
