    Since the new CBA restricted practices and the coaches aren’t playing starters in preseason games, i’ve noticed that the first couple weeks of regular season games tend to be sloppy.

    I was at that game VS the Niners. My daughter wanted to go for her 15th birthday (live in Sacramento). She still had a great time as it was her 1st game.

    We had just moved into a new 2 story house in San Jose in ‘89. I was upstairs and man did it sway. My dad, in Buffalo, was watching the World Series and experienced Al Michaels saying “I think we’re having an earthquake “ and the broadcast lost. They were glad when we finally reached them.

    I’m paddling with you. Direct TV always had some issues but since AT&T took over, it’s been horrible. Upgraded to the Genie2 hoping the new hardware/software would be better but it’s not.

    Here in Sacramento, they have done just about everything they could to get an MLS team but keep getting bypassed. Have had USL team since 2014.

    I grew up not far from there (North Ogden). There’s also the area east of the exit, which is wide open.

    Yes, he has a talent. Segue to the worst radio description I ever heard. Broadcaster Phil Stone had been a TV broadcaster and joined the SF Giants radio team. His call: “Here’s the pitch. Centerfielder is under it. Two outs.”
