Yeah, seemed like just about every time the Bills made a big play, a penalty was called. I expected one on Allen’s long run. If I was at that game I ‘d been yelling at the refs frequently. Let them play. Game was about 3.5 hours. CBS kept talking about the postgame show but by the time the game ended, it was time for the 2nd game. Of course, isn’t this typical for a Walt Coleman crew?

I remember the Bills got screwed on this in the last couple of seasons. In the last 2 minutes , if there is a replay review, 10 seconds is run off the game clock. One time, the Bills were driving late in the game with less than 20 seconds and had a successful play. They were already set at the line when a replay review was called. The review did not change the call but 10 seconds were run off and the clock is started. By the time they got set again, there was just enough time to get the ball hurriedly snapped. Why should a team team be punished with a 10 second runoff when the replay calls come from New York?

Harbaugh can’t win the big games. He didn’t win that Super Bowl. When he was at Stanford they were always highly ranked but would lose a big game down the stretch. Also, would you want someone who doesn’t stick around long? He’s like the Larry Brown of football.

Mark Jackson was a faith-based leader when coaching the Golden State Warriors and also a preacher for a church in LA. That was fine for players like Steph Curry but other players didn't like his prayers in the locker room and encouraging the players to join him at church. It became divisive. I haven't heard of this bring an issue with the Bills.

Let’s temper our enthusiasm over Barkley’s performance. Yes, he played very well but there are reasons this is his 6th team and he was available now. He’s been very inconsistent in his career. I think if Allen is healthy, he should play as he’s expected to be the future. If he’s not 100%, let him sit and see what Barkley can do with more action. Having Barkley now, I think Anderson can go back to the mentor role.

Yes, sometimes it’s hard to judge from the sideline camera how close a player actually is to the ball but I thought the same as you on that play. He may have been in the best position to dive and get it, or not even need to dive.

I don’t think the Bills have had a Notre Dame QB other than Lamonica.
