  1. Don't discount Chad Henne...this game in Miami looks like one of those where the new QB shines. Injuries to the secondary...whatever...Buffalo teams have this ability to bring about the best in the most green of players.
  2. everything is fine with the Raiders..committment to the place at the corner of Elmwood and Forest... err committed. what's not to like about a QB you took 1st overall who every week has a stat line like this: 7-for-34, 72 yards, 2 INT.
  3. I tip my bag to our efforts and the fine, fine gentlemen who have been granted the glorious opportunity to play a game for a living...or something...and also to the coaches who put in plenty of effort, every week and to our marketing guru Buss Randon...and to our jug-eared friend in Florida...
  4. Bills had a couple of awesome head coaches then too...Harvey Johnson and John Rauch.
  5. I'd rather sit in the parking lot with a generator and watch the game on tv. **** I can go to Nativity and be told to stand and sit for free...I don't need to spend 50 dollars for some discount security dolt to say those things. I give credit to people who spend a lot of money on tickets having their gameday experience dictated to them...you think it sucks now, I bet it gets worse.
  6. Hey, she was at the Detroit Lions game last week.
  7. and can't even do that right...they'll get their usual 3-4 game win surge going in late October and then completely crap the bed in December to churn out a lovely 5-11, 6-10 record.
  8. I've enjoyed these ongoing threads for years now too..."at least we're not the..." a fan base reduced to pathetically low standards...a silver lining cause each year there's 4-5 teams that struggle worse.
  9. Chad Henne will throw for over 300 yards and 3-4 touchdowns Sunday as the Bills repair their defense by hiring Sal from South Buffalo and Jocko from Getzville to play cornerback and safety...RESPECTIVELY!!! The legend of Henne aka Tom Terrific Jr. begins.
  10. Just about any team can get 300 yards...even someone like Tyler Thigpen can do that... I guess the one QB that simply can't throw for more yardage than Edwards would be J. Russell in Oakland. that guy is even more mindboggling. J. Russell, 9-35, 42 yds, 2 int.
  11. Owens...I would say there's a 95% chance he'll stay on the team, in the lineup...unless he wants to retire. It's about as sure as Henrietta Tallinder being in the top 6 of the Sabres defense lineup this year.
  12. this could end up being the worst performance ever in Buffalo by a "star" athlete. All the blame isn't being thrown on Owens either. The Buffalo media may very well end up looking like the bad guy in this whole thing...along with the coaches...and short-arm checkdown champ.
  13. Jug ears caught lightning in a bottle with the Kelly-Polian era... he hired one big name coach in Chuck Knox, and he was out the door in five years time. There was a vaunted D and ball-control offense for a few years in the AFL. so, expectations should be low... how can they not be low? When was the last time the Detroit Lions were in the playoffs, have they made it once since 2000? Perhaps Houston makes it this year?
  14. I see a thread like this every year about 3-5 weeks in.
  15. I read where they beat the Kansas City Chiefs in January of 1994 to win the conference.
  16. a lot to learn...but...does he have a lot of time to learn?
  17. Those are "free pass" games... and if the NFC opponent is a tough one, it also ranks as a "moral victory"... I'll be dropping off some Chips Ahoy! and some 2% in the morning for the lads...
  18. that would be sweet...he wouldn't even throw the ball...just take the guitar and smack a home run with the football...Owens all of a sudden starts getting 250 yard receiving days.
  19. not reading the thread... of course you go for it... that's Saginaw Valley State stuff...not Yale.
  20. Sparano has a pulse and I think he's going to make the Dolfelons feel uncomfortable this week in practice...so they'll either be nervous or firing on all cylinders next Sunday... Eeyore Jauron will have his charges as ready as lukewarm watah. Eventually they will wear down in the heat and humidity in their heinous looking navy navy navy blue uniforms...Skeletor will repair to the post-game show and say that winning is hard in high humidity...my charges would have had more energy in their Montreal Alouette jerseys.
  21. only if he brings the novelty oversized rolodex and the megaphone.
