  1. maybe they had him on the practice squad simply cause he isn't good enough... maybe they thought he'd develop a bit down the road. sorta like the Sabres keeping Kalinin around cause he was a 1st round pick.
  2. Eric Wood was Brohm's center at Louisville. inturrresting...
  3. It's an interesting darkhorse pickup... nothing to lose, see what he has. Green Bay gave up on him quick.
  4. All that extra money Bowlen is giving him for NOT coaching is quite nice... building a 35,000 sq. ft. house in the Denver suburbs? Holy Mackerel... http://denver.bizjournals.com/denver/stori...13/daily68.html
  5. agreed, not keen on the CFL, nor college coaches, nor coaches over 65 (head coaches anyway...only one I would consider is LeBeau but he's not going anywhere). Seen enough of the "Nintendo Weeeee shuffleboard gang, let's head to old Country Buffet Senior Discount Tuesday and take our teeth out at 4 p.m." with this team the last few years.
  6. he was just passed on the depth chart by Brian Brohm.
  7. another Green Bay castoff... Ron Wolf been talkin to Ralphie?
  8. Marc Trestman's coaching stops 1981-82 University of Miami (VC) 1983-84 University of Miami (QC) 1985-86 Minnesota Vikings (RBC) 1987 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (QC) 1988 Cleveland Browns (QB) 1989 Cleveland Browns (OC) 1990-91 Minnesota Vikings (QC) 1995-96 San Francisco 49ers (OC/QC) 1997 Detroit Lions (QC) 1998-00 Arizona Cardinals (OC/QC) 2001 Oakland Raiders (QC) 2002-03 Oakland Raiders (OC) 2004 Miami Dolphins (QC/AHC) 2005-06 North Carolina State (OC/QC) 2008-Present Montreal Alouettes (HC) That's a lot of coaching stops. Only twice in the same spot for three straight seasons (Arizona and Univ. of Miami) having coached since 1981?!?!? He was coaching on productive teams with Cleveland, San Francisco and Oakland, but he moves around enough to make Lou Saban's suitcase drool.
  9. I don't remember... someone was completely adamant about drafting Harrington at #4. No Bryant McKinnie, no nobody else, had to be Harrington. Which reminds me, being at the Bills-Lions game in 2002.
  10. Seven Games Fewell not a big deal, this season is a complete wash.
  11. Hey man, nice shot... seriously don't do it... the last individual that I saw here that carried on in a maniacal sense was someone pimping Joey Harrington for the 2002 draft... yeah you ol timers remember. what happened to that poster?
  12. he's been the QB coach at about 745 different places, including Cardinal O'Hara H.S.
  13. don't go pulling a Bud Dwyer when Mike Leach isn't hired to be the next Bills' head coach.
  14. Hello, hello is this Mikey... this is Ralph Wiggam, owner of the Bills ... first of all .... ... Buster Ramsey once told me...
  15. Marc Trestman??? The guy has been a QB coach on every football team in existence. Killdrive and tee-totaler Haslett... more Ralph, even you can't **** this up.
  16. I heard they were angling for either Cleo Lemon, Timmmm Rosenbach or Kerwin Bell.
  17. D1ck Johnston...he ran it by Larry Felser... I did just see Chuck Knox at the baggage claim about an hour ago.
  18. Everyone from Baltimore moved 40 miles to the southwest?
  19. This guy has a nice pedigree for college scouting...doing a damn good job right now. (I have no idea how long he's under contract with the Texans). http://www.houstontexans.com/team/FrontOff...nt_office_id=64
  20. another name for the hell of it, defensive coordinator I am thinking... Jeff Fitzgerald, current Cincinnati Bengals linebacker coach... Baltimore Ravens linebacker coach 2004-2007 Also linebacker coach in Arizona and Washington prior to going to the Ravens. how does it work with front office people? can only hire if their contract runs out? get rid of Modrak... Dale Strahm is the Director of College Scouting for the Houston Texans.
  21. just zipping through some stuff online... a few ex-Bills in asst. jobs with the Colts, but they're probably happy there.
