No matter the head coach, they'd have a rough ride here in 2010. An apprentice will have a more difficult ride in year one... but I don't expect miracles from anyone... one look at this roster and it's Swiss cheese. Not just the coaching staff, front office is going to have to make smart moves at every turn in the road. Recovering from all these sh**** drafts for a decade will take time.

IMO, how I look at this is... I just don't get into the games the way I did at one time. Yeah, they are on tv and I watch them but it's not a whole helluva lot different then watching say the Vikings vs. the Seahawks. The Bills have been tracking downward in a fashion not totally different from when Irsay crapped on the Colts in Baltimore. Irsay wanted to move the team... Ralph doesn't, but the way they each operate looks similar. Baltimore's fans began to disappear from Memorial Stadium in the late 70s and early 80s, they got tired of it. Buffalo fans seem to carry a nasty bout of Catch-22... if we don't show up, they'll move... if we keep showing up, they stay and Ralphie gets his money, and doesn't have to make the necessary changes to improve the team. I don't spend tickets on something like that. I can't justify spending money on that and if I don't see any actual, tangible positive changes... I can't waste Sundays next fall watching them on tv. I'll DVR the game perhaps and watch it another time, if it's worth watching. Whether the Bills' organization wants to realize it or not, they have created a level of ambivalence in the fan base. To me this organization is how they were when I was quite young in the late 70s... "oh we have a football team... it's a home game, oh yeah it's only on the radio."

McNabb is like Lindros... a promising Philly Nilly that just didn't deliver when it counted.

Maybe the team would have been better off drafting Ryan Clady in 2008 instead of Painted Lawn McKelvin?

I think he needs a break from coaching Perry Fewell.. no Lester Frazier... being talked up a lot, for some reason I see Gregg Williams Part II, not sure why. Brian Billick... maybe Mike Zimmer... not really, career-coordinator Jim Harbaugh... perhaps Ted Cottrell... no Jason Garrett... somewhat intriguing Mike Nolan... nope Jack Del Rio... needs a break from coaching like Fox Jim Mora Jr. ... hell no Jim Haslett... worse than Jim Mora Jr. Mike Martz... offensive coordinator perhaps, not head coach Tony Dungy... yes Sean McDermott... nope Steve Mariucci... eh possibly John Gruden... no, wants to stay at MNF anyway. Dan Reeves... been away a bit too long, oldster, see Schottenheimer. Jim Fassel... no, go back to coaching JP Losman. Dennis Green... hotheaded meathead. Bill Callahan... no Mike Leach... as long as he throws Trent Edwards into a Port-a-Potty Ron Rivera...darkhorse candidate.
