  2. This... http://www.contactmusic.com/new/xmlfeed.ns...er.s-conviction Plus his sister was receiving death threats from the usual rabble-rousers who exist in Buffalo. I don't blame him one bit for saying what he did.
  3. goin out in a blaze of glory... Somebody had mentioned he wanted to pay his taxes in person...
  4. They would have been better off with Larry Fine. John Wendling will catch on with someone, once he shows them how he can do a 72-foot high standing high jump.
  5. The Uniform of Fail born - 2002, died "we don't know when"
  6. Hypothetically, if the team stayed and renovation was given consideration... at least they have a couple models in Green Bay and Kansas City that they can emulate and pick the brain of each franchise.
  7. If you want to see the newly-developed infrastructure at Arrowhead, check the link below and watch the video "Laying the Foundation, Part 2" http://www.kcchiefs.com/arrowhead
  8. I think you know very well that the Bears ended up playing elsewhere for a season. Their renovations took a year or so. The Packers never played elsewhere but their renovations went for two years. Kansas City is a two-year project as well.
  9. I had read the Soldier Field renovation went as high as $550 million. Everything I remember reading about the Lambeau renovation was as you posted, $300 million range. How much did the previous renovation of Ralphie field cost? What was done again, those dugout suites, back in 1998?
  10. From WikiMania On August 15, 2007, the Chiefs announced final plans for the renovated Arrowhead Stadium, which will cost $375 million. The cost was increased by $50 million due to an additional payment by the Hunt Family, whom were originally intending to donate just $75 million. The renovated stadium will feature the Chiefs Hall of Honor, currently known as the Chiefs Hall of Fame, a tribute to Lamar Hunt, and "horizon level" seating in which Luxury suite owners will be sitting outdoors. The stadium and new player and coaches facilities are still on schedule to be completed by the beginning of the 2010 NFL season. Though the stadium is referred to as "New Arrowhead Stadium," the building as of this time will not be renamed. On August 28, 2008 the Chiefs announced their decision to sell the naming rights to Arrowhead Stadium. IMG, a sports and entertainment company, will help them locate a buyer
  11. A video showing what the renovation to Arrowhead Stadium will be like... http://www.kcchiefs.com/newvip A series of videos you can check out with the Arrowhead renovations... more bathrooms, wider concourses, gift shops, etc. http://www.kcchiefs.com/arrowhead Nice renovation process... pretty neat with the entrance way giving recognition to the AFL.
  12. Ralphie Stadium and Arrowhead are close to being twins... both were built by the same company... (Arrowhead's architect/builder ended up merging to become HNTB, the company that built the stadium in Orchard Park). Arrowhead was built in 1972, Rich Stadium the following year. Each was built with 80,000 seats, the classic oval-shaped, football-only facility... a nice diversion from the multi-sport toilet bowl crap they were building in Cincinnati, Philly and Pittsburgh. Why not see how the Arrowhead renovation is going...
  13. Since Ralphtastic's biggest accomplishments were keeping the AFL alive and the merger, that should be in a Bills museum. Maybe showing him handing a check to Bootlegger Sullivan of the Patriots would be good material to include as well. And giving the Raiders money to survive as well. Could give a focus to each of the original AFL teams... with an obvious larger amount of material on the Bills, focusing on the 64-65 championship teams... maybe have profiles of various players on display at times... Kemp, Gilchrist, Sestak, etc. Maybe take some cues from the Bills display at the Historical Society. How about including a history of building the stadium too? Show the progress made from 1971 and onward. "Relentless" has a few pictures of it.
  14. Those 1950s Cape Cod shacks are looking pretty derelict these days.
  15. Would be cool if there was a kind of "AFL museum" included in a large clubhouse/history building.
  16. Can start rebuilding by making sure you have very good offensive tackles.
  17. HOK went on a stadium-building orgy back in the late 90s... they built: 2001: Heinz Field (Pittsburgh Steelers) 1999: Cleveland Browns Stadium, LP Field (Tennessee Titans) 1998: Raymond James Stadium (Tampa Bay Bucs), M&T Bank Stadium... PSINet (Baltimore Ravens) 1997: FedEx Field (Washington Redskins) 1996: Bank of Amerika Stadium (Carolina Panthers) 1995: Edward Jones Dome (St. Louis Rams)
