  1. I personally think it is great that the banjo kid from Deliverance became the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings.
  2. That's a pretty valid comparison. Drew hasn't learned how to rip off the chin strap and sulk quite as well as Fergy, but give him a bit more time.
  3. Prolly a lot of FFL champs in this group. "Ok Schnezznar.....you have the first pick overall" DREW MOULDS!!!!!!!!!
  4. Yes, Lofton wore #86. His first action I believe, was the final drive against the Rams on Monday night (1989).....anyone remember that game? Reichstag hit Reed in the endzone at the end of the game.....
  5. It's pretty easy......just have a QB competition in camp between JP and Bledsoe or JP and someone else that they bring in. Losman isn't going to get much experience sitting on the bench another year, or at the least, given a shot at being the starter in 2005.
  6. How bout Pennsyltucky? Kerry won that state by a smaller margin than Bush won Ohio. You mean there were no bottles of Boone's being handed out to bums in Philly like in 2000?
  7. I agree with what he says. What the hell happened up there anyway? I know Bills fans just love to tell the rest of the world what great fans they are, but you know, this isn't 1991 anymore. Maybe the team has slacked for a decade, but where is the noise? What exactly caused Maddox to only have to bark out signals at the line during just the opening drive? I went to my first Sabres game in the new arena a couple years back. If that wasn't a goddamn morgue. I think the best fans left the area. They had to. And I hear the same thing as the thread originator said......"Yeah, I went to the game, I had free tix." I hear that over and over. By the way, where does the season ticket base stand, and how exactly do 20k pee-stained rag waving loonies get into the stadium? The commentators should have said it was a neutral-site game......perhaps Meadville, PA.....aboot halfway between Buffalo and Pittsburgh. 5 years with no playoffs and then a chance to make it......one would just think that the place was going to be The House of Noise again. I guess not.
  8. Yes, heaven forbid the team actually try and improve, and even worse, have fans that would like to see the team improve. But by all means, don't say anything disparaging about Captain Mannequin. I mean, we were only playing for a shot at the playoffs. The most important thing is that Drew Bledsoe is consoled and pampered over this latest sour note. His, albeit very small and continually dwindling, legion of fans will continue on, oblivious to the obvious.....that Drew + a career in the NFL = well burnt toast.
  9. You should buy yourself a pouch of chaw. It is not as addicitive and you will reap several different benefits.
  10. When was the last time Bledsoe threw for 300 yards in a game?
  11. Hmmmmmm, that deer didn't happen to be a homicide bomber?
  12. Imagine this: Get this.....the USC marching band......PLAYS A SONG AT HALFTIME!!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!! and then, and then, and then, get this.....the OU marching band......THEY PLAY A SONG RIGHT AFTER THE USC BAND!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY CRAPEEOSIS!!!!! How bout that for friggin marketing creativity genius!!!!!
  13. That would have been classic......he could have had a packet of "TROJANZ" in one hand and a sign that says "SOONER OR LATER" in the other and then do his Tourette Two Step to " SHE BAAANG, SHEE BAAANG "
  14. What did Bledsoe do in New England when Belichicklets and Weis were running the offense?
  15. I said the same thing.....go for it.....1 point lead becomes a 4 point lead, big deal? Go for it, go up by 8 points and the momentum stays squarely with the Bills into the 4th quarter. And I had a bad feeling that Lindell would miss. If you're up by 6 or 7 and want to go for the field goal, that's understandable. Playing it safe gets this team nowhere. Whether Gregg Williams wants to punt at the 30 yard line or this team wussed out on 4th and 1. This is football, take off the kid gloves once in a while. Teams in the NFL never advance very far by playing it safe and not to lose nearly 100% of the time.
