  1. It's on ebay.....and I was kind enough not to set a reserve price.
  2. Boston: A bottle of Irish whiskey in honor of Teddy Kennedy Philadelphia: A box of Cream of Wheat in honor of Philly's mayor Buckwheat......O-TAY!
  3. I don't know, Billy might think that's a steal......for the Bills mind you. Did he ever check in with the whitecoats?
  4. Proper grooming techniques or not, it is time to hand the reigns over to PJ Solnam.
  5. I think Patrick introduced Bob to the Hershey Highway.
  6. I have a friend that was working there at the time it closed..... Jim Kelly is/was a great QB, fine humanitarian...... But...... Jim Kelly + Business Venture = Disaster in the making
  7. It's a "bordering the Great Lakes" thing. Now, if you were to venture away from the lakes, southward yonder from Buffalo, you'll see Banjo boy at the PA state line, and try understanding that mish mash of talk that occurs in them thar hinterlands.
  8. Are we trying to get a QB with some pocket presence???
  9. The smugness has been slapped off of the Steeler fans......the last thing they want now is a comparison to Schottenheimer's Browns, but that's what they have earned, and then some.
  10. Yeah, but you are in Toledo, you sound the same.
  11. I was rooting for a lot of injuries..... When the Steelers were trying to make a comeback of it, I was hoping they would stick it to Dallas.......then Neil O'Donnell made an acquaintance with the one hit wonder Larry Brown.
  12. Look at how long Chuck Noll stuck around. As many times as the Bills change head coaches over all the years, the Steelers are the exact opposite.
  13. They show her on the edge of a Niagara Falls like explosion after the Dallas-Pittsburgh Super Bowl in 1995-96.
  14. He is the new Andy Reid or Marty Schottenheimer. 1992 - HFA.....Stillers lose to Frank Reich and the Bills 1994 - HFA again.....Alfred Pupunu Platter, Stan Humphries and the forgotten upstarts of San Diego win. 1995 - HFA.....err, at least hosted the AFC Championship.......almost lost to the Colts on a last second Jim Harbaugh pass that fell short. 1997 - HFA.......lost to Denver......Broncos win Super Bowl. 2001 - New England defeats the Steelers......Steelers had HFA again.....lost another AFC Championship at home.......that's now 3...... 2005 - New England 41......Pittsburgh 27........4 times out of 5 that the Steelers lose the AFC Championship at home........one other time, they were one play away from losing......and in 92....they had HFA and lost in the divisional round...... Unfortunately for Cowher.....he now has a stigma attached to him for conference championship games.
  15. Agreed, it's pretty crappy for such a big area. Seems to cater to casual fans. Discussion hits upon main points, can get boring. I guess their fawning over Joe Gibbs has ended.
  16. Ah like them french fried pataters.......mmmmmmmhhhmmmmmm.
  17. I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings..... but they tore down the goalposts that first Super Bowl year AFTER the Bills-Dolphins late season / regular season game at Rich Stadium. Frank Reich was the quarterback, and Thurman Thomas had lots of yardage. It clinched home field advantage and the goalposts were torn down.
  18. Comcast......they broadcast all Caps/Wizards games. They have shows dealing with the Redskins/Ravens.
  19. January 20, 1991 Ticket stub says: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME Enter Gate: 8 Sec. L Aisle 4 Row 14 Seat 108 52 bucks.
  20. Or you could go to Sheas, or Kleinhans, or Studio Arena and become cultured. Spend a Saturday at the Albright-Knox. Then troll around the lake there at Delaware park. Knock on the door of the casino there on the lake and see if they could furnish you with a well-concocted intoxicant.
  21. Why not ice skating lessons, or ice fishing, or making ice cubes, or something else that may deal with ice. How about snow, there is always skiing in the area.
