I would think the idea that so many Leafs could qualify for AARP type membership is just as haunting.

I just didn't care for the lane switches and the badly beat up condition at 130am. Not fun on somewhat unfamiliar roadway. Of course, dodging the deer near Mansfield is also not fun times.

I remember in the 80s how I would either catch a glimpse in the paper or hear about it on the radio of the mid 70s era of Buffalo sports. Had to be pretty exciting. The Sabres emerge and get to the Stanley Cup finals in their 5th year of existence......French Connection, etc. OJ hits for over 2000 yards in 1973, and the next two years there were high hopes of a good playoff run. I think the Bills had a 5-0 record in the fall of 1975.....having beaten the Steelers in Pittsburgh as well.

I don't follow the Amerks very closely, but certainly Derek Roy will be with the Sabres, and obviously a very good chance that Ryan Miller will as well. And possibly better than 50-50 chance Gaustad lands with the big club. Doug Janik might have a shot as the 6th defenseman with Buffalo. Oh, and Vanek......dah.

I think he correctly predicted Buffalo vs Washington in the Super Bowl eons ago. But then in the Super Bowl preview SI he picked the Bills to win.....
