  1. That Beebe play is a mixed bag. 1. Yeah, it was great that he showed the effort to stop fatty from getting a touchdown. but 2. I am really tired of seeing that play, and how that might arguably be viewed nationally as the "best" play the Bills could conjure up in 4 Super Bowls. It's best to forget those games.
  2. Oh, and I would like to make a suggestion. Maybe what should be done is to have a series of 1st round Mock drafts with absolutely NO trades allowed. Because this thread is one of the few reasons to believe Marv's arrogant analogy of sitting with fans. Cmon Rams! Rams on the clock! Let's go Martz.....get da dafribbulator goin.
  3. Wasn't Kenny Davis stood up at the 2 inch line? That game makes me want to puke more than any of the others.
  4. I thought it was becoming a morning only edition?
  5. The Bills should cut all players who don't turn all-pro after their 1st 8 games. Now....if ol Ralphie would have the cut cord on some of his head coaching gems after their 1st 8 games.....
  6. Get the pieces to the puzzle that are needed, then the talk of winning sooner may sound more likely.
  7. The one the Bills should have kept to coach the D will be in Detroit, at Ford Field, on February 5th.
  8. I've always felt the Bills carry more of an identity with the city than most any other pro sports organization. Certainly any community will use a sports team as a rallying cry for boosting a city or metro area, but I think that concept is stronger (and maybe a bit unhealthy) in Buffalo. I think some of the more downtrodden towns over the years treat their sports teams like that. The Clevelands, Pittsburghs....and others of that ilk. In Buffalo it takes on an even larger role. It becomes the identity of the community that is portrayed around the nation. Winning is probably viewed by some as the only positive bit of news that can be leaked out in the national press. It's like a football team producing positive results for an entire metro area. It becomes a very serious thing, too serious. I tend to think it becomes the entire focal point of the region. That is an unhealthy obsession.
  9. Tibbs, pull the Bentley round, there's a fine chap. We must partake in the impromptu festivities that will adorn the southern reaches of lovely Orchard Park on this scrumptuous evening.
  10. I know, I was just trying to play things up for the Jauron crowd.
