    He looked quite confused.....I thought maybe it was Mike Mularkey or Gregg Williams. Still, he looked the part for as well as he coached. I don't care for soccer.....err suckor. But I do remember all the publicity it started receiving here in the early 90s. About 15 years later, they still have a team as "good" as the ones they kept talking about back then.

    Agreed! GO ITALIA!!!!! When was the last men's bball Olympics? The one where the overpriced primadonnas sat around as that kid from Finland? kept draining 3s. I was glad that kid stuck it to them.

    One thing I find more depressing on my annual visits are the number of people I know that keep moving out. Pretty soon there won't be anyone to visit.

    The overnight pay-raise increase. They have been raising hell about that for a while now.....what worked was having the pissed off constituents keep at it.

    I think Edmonton will disembowel Carolina in 5. Maybe a sweep. No four defensemen injured with Edmonton. AND, every NHL season after Calgary reaches the Finals, Edmonton wins the Cup. Edmonton will forecheck very hard. Laviotoilette is going to be flip-flopping Ward and Gerber a lot. Maybe he'll even put in a call for Arturs Irbe.

    I only caught the Jacksonville pick that really stood out, as I didn't watch much of the draft......and Berman was rambling on about how the Jaguars like "Big Fat Players.....and right here I think the Jags are going to take a big, fat, mauling Tight End". And I believe that is indeed what happened.

    Going pretty well now......Bandits should lose tonight, Sabres tank tomorrow and the Bills select Donte Whitman's Sampler in the 2nd round and probably Daunte Werther's Original in the 3rd.
